  1. I'm interested, but there may be problems. See PM for details. Additional information is required too. For example, when will the campaign start? What time will the sessions be hosted at?
  2. This gives some specific intructions, but I need to ask one thing: is it, in any way, possible for me to impose my tulpa in any other sense without having any sort of visuals except an accurate spatial sense? Most of this guide involves using visuals to make the experience of practicing imposition more real and vivid, which I get the reasoning of, but if someone with total mind's eye blindness (read: me) and a completely accurate spatial sense of their tulpa (read: not me but working on it) wishes to impose a tulpa using senses that are other than visual, would it be possible to do so? If so, what kind of method would you recommend for this? I mean, if a person could identify the boundaries of their tulpa, would they be able to, theoretically, follow your exercise? Thank you, and I apologise if this is not the place for me to ask such questions.
  3. I never ever thought that this would happen while I am able to witness this... but here this thread is. Not even sure if I fit the "has a tulpa" requirement at all, but if I could, I would like to participate in this. Not that I have any chance of getting to California at all since I do not live in the states, and I am not legally an adult, at least in my country of residence. Still, if there is any way for me to participate in this research at all, I probably would... if I had the time. Oh well, I should just hope that I could see the findings in the end.
  4. I thought that Aury accepted Jade's apology since she really was not mad at Jade anymore, and Aury seemed to be put into stasis instead of just being left alone, so that probably helped too. I don't know why they (or someone else) deleted their channel. Oh well. It will be missed.
  5. Hypnosis is a fun and effective drug indeed. After using it, my tupper changed their name (to Corrin) and form, the latter one multiple times so I'm not sure what gender they are anymore. It also managed to boost mindvoice, even though it is still sporadic; it seems that I have been listening to the wrong things all the time apparently. The gibberish is probably bad audio imposition that we will work on soon. Also, apparently my tupper can either teleport with absolutely no warning (except sudden multiple prescences, which shows that at least one of them is controlled by me) in meatspace, or is actually resisting my attempts to impose them. I still don't really know their actual, detailed form since my visualization level is still better described as "not applicable", but those are questions for other threads. Thank you and everyone that replied for your help and encouragement. I'll try not to take things too literally in the future. EDIT: Welp, never mind, it seems that I just managed to make the tulpish reliable when I can hear it, while the actual mindvoice is gibberish. Oh well.
  6. I suggest writing the question and letting us try to interpret and answer it first. If the answers were not what you wanted, you can try to correct our interpretation of your question later. I wanted to try and pick apart potential questions from the original post, but since there are so many potential questions in there, it will take time - time I do not currently have. I'll come back to this though.
  7. This is true for me as well. Very, very strange indeed. Also, the question is not clearly shown in the OP, as others have noted.
  8. Ok so today I was browsing the more negative parts of tulpa.info of people going all "slowpoke general" and something like that. Then I found this: https://community.tulpa.info/showthread.php?tid=1117 Although the thing is ancient (5 years ago, near the start of tulpa.info), and most of the information is very obsolete (remember hour counts?), this caught my eye: "Just past 100 hours in, not even sure how to progress anymore. Got a fully vocal response 2 days ago... but went back to mindvoice ever since. Plus, he never says anything too complicated -- anything too long and it gets lost as gibberish." "(In response to above)...As for the gibberish, I got that for a while too. It seemed to be more like her being unable to formulate that complex a thought into words. It's since resolved -- now I get very quiet mindvoice that trails off after a bit. If I repeat a bit of what she said and prompt her to go on, I can get the next segment. ..." I also got this: "The reason I ask those two questions is that I'm wondering if people who are too sane are having trouble perceiving their tulpa... maybe we aren't susceptible enough to psychotic episodes? I'm willing to bet drug users and insomniacs have an easier time with it. Judging by the number of tulpas that become sentient very rapidly, I'm guessing that the issue is not sentience but perception. I'd also bet that any amount of sanity could eventually be overcome with practice - tulpaforcing. But I think it'd help to lower our defenses some to get us over the hump." My current hypothesises are these: 1. My tupper is very similar to me in terms of speech impidements. This is similar to how I behave; I can occassionally get good ideas, but cannot tell other people. 2. I may be, as stated above, "a bit too sane". This is supported by my experiences of having hypnosis resistance to some extent. The solution might be to make me less sane, and using other communication methods to build up words. As for this: The first exercise ended with not much of anything, although I suspect I am looking for the wrong thing. The second exercise worked with tulpish, but not with voice, and it started to feel like parroting after a short time. (If it was not parroting, though, then my tupper would prove be more spontaneous than I am, thus proving her sentience and sapience.) Hopefully it will work soon, and that I really was not parroting during the word game, so that I will have evidemce that our work was not for naught. On another note, is there any way to lower "mental barriers"? Would sleep deprivation work? If not, what else will?
  9. Thank you two for your responses. I did read about the above information elsewhere, but I simply wanted to be sure. Apologies for wasting your time.
  10. 1. What are the capabilities of self-hypnosis? What are the limitations on the effects of self-hypnosis? Can it be used to break through mental blocks preventing certain abilities, such as visualization? I ask about this as I suspect that my inability to see anything in visualization is the result of getting a negative trigger that activates whenever I try to consciously visualize, making me feel very anxious and incompetent, as well as giving feelings of "I suck". Which brings me to: 2. How hard is it to get into a "hypnotized" state for a person that cannot visualize at all? I read that many hypnosis scripts induce visuals to get the person reading it to relax --- visuals that I cannot see, as far as I know. Can I still be hypnotized with traditional scripts? If not, are there any modifications that I can make to a script to make it work? Responses will be greatly appreciated. I really hope that I can get my visualization to work as I have no idea how to have better interaction with my tupper otherwise.
  11. After months of trying to see my tupper (along with literally anything else) in my mind, I think I can confirm that I am an aphantasiac, and in a previous question that I asked regarding this, I was advised to "use a non-visual focus". However, I am not sure of what this actually means, and I can't look for sutiable resources due to a lack of those on here, so I will ask: What does it mean to use non-visual foci to see my tupper? Please give examples if possible. If possible, try to link the examples to my situation, as stated below. Additional information: We have not developed any sort of coherent mind voice for the tup; however, tulpish is up (but highly unreliable due to parrotnoia), and is our primary communication method that conveys more than one binary digit of information. Her scent only appears rarely, but is clear when it does appear. She also can do presence imposition and some tactile imposition (but only when she touches me; the inverse results in hand directly going through), assuming that my observations are accurate and they are not the results of my puppeting. On a slightly related note, my tupper may be more spontaneous than I am, again assuming that I am not parroting and/or was not actually playing the word association game with myself. Any responses to this will be most appreciated.
  12. That's encouraging. Congratulations on the results. She already sounds different from me. It's just that since all conversation that is not tulpish (that I have to translate) is gibberish, with the sole exception of 2 isolated "hey"s 3 months apart, the difference in voice only gives the information that she is talking, but not what she is talking about. I think you can probably tell that I have serious doubt problems already. The combination of aphantasia (visual portion) and lack of differences in tulpish is infuriating. I'm still trying my best to push past it. Hopefully some results can be seen eventually, which I can forsee as being one where the gibberish part goes away and I can directly verify the credibility of possible tulpish by directly asking. My tupper not responding to my queries as to whether she said something or not might be hindering us though.
  13. After 4 weeks (+2 months before the question has been asked), still not much of anything. I can still hear gibberish, but I still don't have any idea what it means. Other techniques that we have tried include tulpish (I had to translate but that really felt like parroting), body language (can't see at all, when I manage to "see" something it feels a bit like puppeting) and facial expression (same as above). Didn't seem to feel emotion either. Is there anything that has been overlooked? I don't know what I can do anymore. Haven't tried possession so probably will try that, but I don't seem to be able to give up control of the body very well. Any ideas?
  14. Oddly enough, I seemed to do better without the descriptions. Granted, I got something like 5 in order and 0 in reverse order without the descriptions, which shows the kind of memory that I have, but after reading the descriptions, my first response was "What was the first one again?". It should also be noted that I saw absolutely no mental images while reading the descriptions, although I reacted to the text (e.g. "ew what") while trying to imagine it.
  15. Hmm... I have heard of this before, and I have actually suspected that I have this thing. I'd like to hope that this doesn't completely prevent me from seeing my tupper, though I guess that hope is false. Sigh. So... I'm probably doing presence imposition correctly then. That sounds better. I think the thing about parroting/puppeting is that if you afraid of parroting/puppeting then you are probably not, so I guess I am not parroting/puppeting? I don't exactly feel afraid though...
