  1. Luna is mostly content to support me in my endeavors, though sometimes she wants to go do something I would normally never do (like going to a bar or window shopping for cute clothes). Sometimes she'll possess me to go do those things, but mostly she just tags along while imposed. Every once in a while she'll ask for possession time so she can do something more specific, but it's by no means routine for us. Elise and Naomi are largely content to stay in the wonderland unless something interesting is happening in the real world.
  2. I had a dream that was a weird mix of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, something about having to fight off waves of enemies while turning a crank to move this giant elevator down a shaft. The weird part is Elise was there, but then she woke up right after we did to say she had a bad dream of her own that was unrelated.

    Thank you! :)
  4. Hmm, we used to have our own procedurally-generated dungeon in the wonderland.

Elise's 12th birthday was on Friday, we went out for gourmet tacos and then visited the local game center. We also got Dairy Queen for dessert.
  6. I'm able to subsist on 1500 calories a day, but then I work a desk job and would get literally no exercise if I didn't have some kind of regimen going.
  7. My girls are usually the ones telling me to not be racist, not the other way around.
  8. >tulpas can't consent to being created lol. lmao. Did any of those people consent to being born?
  9. Considering tulpas need attention to survive, that's what makes the ignoring thing seem excessive to us. If you ignore a bratty child they won't go dormant or stop existing, but even a well-established tulpa can go dormant if ignored for too long (probably days or weeks). As to why a tulpa I described may not benefit from this, I would think that being punished for acting in the way they'd been acting would just serve to increase frustration with the process and to increase feelings of low self-worth. A gentler approach could avoid that while consistently reminding them that they are loved. But then in your case, it sounds like you eventually recognized the need for change, which allowed you to commit to the treatment despite knowing it would be uncomfortable for you.
  10. Luna: I've learned how to do things of this nature to my host, always with his consent of course, but all the techniques I use are biohacking techniques that any singlet with a sufficient amount of dedication could master. As an example, I've made it so Glitch can ignore hunger pangs, though going for too long without food will still sap his strength until he eats something to replenish his nutrients and blood sugar. I do think that, given the nature of what a tulpa is, we're uniquely suited to carry out the mental gymnastics involved in biohacking, hypnosis, or otherwise altering our hosts' perceptions of reality/breaking physical limits/whatever. To address the OP's question, we can't influence the outside world (or other people!) directly except through controlling the host's body or discussing things in text over the internet.
  11. So, it's basically just... operant conditioning? I could see this working with a tulpa who's often hostile or aggressive, but it might not be effective for a tulpa who is chronically depressed and cynical, for example. I think the ignoring thing is especially counterproductive, and maybe even a bit inhumane. There has to be a better way to go about this, perhaps regular talk therapy sessions with the tulpa or something along those lines.
  12. To us, the process you're describing is sort of a Ship of Theseus problem. I offered something similar to one of our former tulpas, the chance to put her back to the way she was when I met her, and she refused because the resulting tulpa would no longer be "her". Therefore she chose dissipation rather than continuing to poison the system with her depression and negativity, and the rest of us did our best to honor that wish. She sort of has a spiritual successor in Elise, anyway, so she felt that there didn't need to be two energetic young ladies running around my head.
  13. Two of my three tulpas were accidental (maladaptive daydream characters that became sentient), but only one of the accidental ones could be described as motherly and/or dominant. The other two are largely content to do their own thing in wonderland unless something is happening in the real world that would be of interest to them.
  14. I think of my girls as equal to me on an intellectual level, and they can self-perpetuate for a time... but I still have to interact with them daily to keep them from going dormant, and if I'm intensely focused on something they more or less go dormant until I have more mental resources available. We also haven't figured out switching even though 2 of my 3 tulpas are ancient compared to the statistical average.
  15. Our wonderland is a temperate island with gravel beaches, a gently sloping grassy field where the wonderland house and a few other buildings are, and a wooded mountain (or large hill?) behind that.
