SquareWave May 19, 2017 Share May 19, 2017 I have a number of bad habits that I've picked up from early childhood I can't seem to drop no matter how hard I try, like nail biting and picking at various things. Could having a tulpa help me with these habits, like say, reminding me that I'm doing this whenever it happens? Fun Facts: 1) I'm a furry. 2) I make video game music (and I’m on my way to getting paid for it!) 3) I'm the host of Pixie and Follery. 4) I get along with cats better than people. tulpa001 May 19, 2017 Share May 19, 2017 Oh yeah. But Could and will are very different. The more developed your tulpa the more like a nagging husband/wife they will be. Of course, if you are lucky, they might be skilled at just rewiring your subconscious. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide. Luminesce May 19, 2017 Share May 19, 2017 They could help you just like an actual friend could. Like say you asked a friend to tell you when you were biting your nails. So in practice it goes something like that would. Being a tulpa, they'll also be around you more often (probably) and personal things won't be as weird to them as to another person. Goes without saying you don't create a tulpa specifically for stuff like this, but you can work together with them to improve yourself sure. I recommend that actually, and it can and should go both ways. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Luminesce May 19, 2017 Share May 19, 2017 Apparently it really does go both ways. But that's only a problem if she meant to stop it to begin with, really. Hi! NaViAlcatraz May 28, 2017 Share May 28, 2017 One of my tulpas is a perfectionist, so she sarcastically notifies me when I'm being sloppy. Thanks to her, I've started to get rid of some of my habits like forgetting to shower or staying in bed till noon. Thing is, this is her natural personality. Depending on how you raise your tulpa, they may not even care, but you shouldn't actively turn them into an alarm clock. If they want to actively help you out, then sure, go ahead. Otherwise, you're better off not asking them.
