Andrew June 11, 2012 Share June 11, 2012 She doesn't have a name yet. I'm going to wait until she's sentient. I started my tulpaforcing 3 days ago, and I'm 2.75 hours in. If you want to read how we're doing... I'm using a blogger account for it. It's more just notes for myself, than an announcement to the world, but I welcome you to read it. Do comment and share your thoughts. So a little about us. She's an angel. A guardian angel, perhaps. I'm a solid atheist (although I hate the term) but I love the poetry and sentiment behind guardian angels. It seems fitting as a Tulpa, in my opinion. She has brown, shoulder length, curly hair, and hazel eyes. Rather tall, but not overly. She's always calm and is often emotionally detatched while making desiscions, although she is a very good empath, being able to see why people make the desisions they do. She feeds off positive emotion from me and those around me, and drives me to create that emotion. She gets annoyed with me for being lazy, and pushes me to do as well as I can. She'll help me with anything, as long as I'm not being lazy. I talk about what she "does," but alas, I hear no sentience yet. Anyways, updates will be on my Blog, although I'll try and make an effort to visit here every now and again. -Sorry for the rubbish spelling. I'm a maths guy, I can't spell anything longer than 'x.' xD "What did you do today?" "Oh, you know, got called a hater by a schizophrenic's marijuana-fueled wolf hallucination." "Righteous!" I call her Philos. My BLOG is updated daily.
Guest applesauce99 June 11, 2012 Share June 11, 2012 Welcome to the forums! I'm a little over 5 hours in and no sentience, and I've heard it takes some people 15-20 hrs (for sentience). I, in turn, am not a math guy so my numbers might be a little off. Does she have wings and wear flowing white Greek garment things? Just asking, as my idea of a guardian angel is a Michelangelo painting. Anyways welcome again to the forums.
Andrew June 11, 2012 Author Share June 11, 2012 I'll help you on numbers, you help me on spelling ;) Yes she does, and yes she does. Well, not a flowing garment, but ankle length. Her wings seem to vary in size in my head. Perhaps that's just what they do. And I think they have 2 joints (elbow?) in them, rather than one, like birds and most angels have. Perhaps that'll be what I focus on tonight. "What did you do today?" "Oh, you know, got called a hater by a schizophrenic's marijuana-fueled wolf hallucination." "Righteous!" I call her Philos. Andrew June 11, 2012 Author Share June 11, 2012 I've fallen asleep for 20 mins on my first session. It was an amazing sleep. I never got what was wrong with falling asleep on the job, anyone care to explain? Please and thankyous :) "What did you do today?" Guest applesauce99 June 11, 2012 Share June 11, 2012 With TheOtherGuy's tulpa, she was traumatized by him falling asleep during forcing. Supposedly your subconsious can do anything it wants to the tulpa, which is literally helpless against it's onslaught. It can poke and prod and generally scare the shit out of the developing tulpa and it can't do a single thing to defend itself. Some people's tulpas say that they weren't harmed when their creators fell asleep during forcing, but I wouldn't want to take the risk.
Andrew June 11, 2012 Author Share June 11, 2012 I'll be more careful then. Thanks for the heads up. "What did you do today?" tulpatalk June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Fellow no-namer here. Also, you are the first person I've 'met' who's sensible about their atheism, so 'grats. As for the TOG sleeping thing, check Sock's thread here in Progress Report. Happy forcing! [Note: Opinions]
Andrew June 12, 2012 Author Share June 12, 2012 Not sure what you mean by 'sensible,' but I'll take it as a compliment. XD And the TOG sleeping thing... (This really needs a name... Sleepforcing, perhaps? Dream Interfearence? Ah well)... Let's just say I won't be falling asleep on the job again. "What did you do today?" Andrew June 13, 2012 Author Share June 13, 2012 Quick update. I've stolen Eyeoftiger's and given my Tulpa a title, during forcing, until we can decide on a name. Long story short, we settled on φίλος, or 'philos,' Greek for friend. Not sure if it's correct grammar, or something, so if any of you know any Greek, then do tell. I posted a litte more in depth about it, as well as a drawing I've done of my Philos, on my BLOG. "What did you do today?"
