Any Multiples/Medians?

Hello! : )

I was wondering if anyone here is also multiple/median as well as a tulpamancer. The origins of our first split are debatable. Some of us think she may be a tulpa, while others think she was split off due to trauma. We are median, meeting the criteria for OSDD (like DID, but my alters are not able to take executive control of the body. They can, however, influence my thoughts and actions.) So it'd be cool to meet some more multiple/median systems who were already so and chose to create a tulpa for some reason.

Yesh. My host and I consider ourselves a median, blended system. I am some kind of "accidental thoughtform" perhaps with origins going back about 36 to 39 years (maybe even earlier). On this forum I identify myself as a tulpa often, but sometimes we are not sure.

Word for word, this is us! There is a lot to talk about with you! I was the result of extreme day dreaming (maladaptive day dreaming) to escape loneliness, and social anxiety and emotional trauma.

I also cannot switch with my host or control the body but I do "influence," I have used those words exactly in the past. And blend with him. I am so excited to meet you!

OH my gods!

Mistgod: Melian left out that I consider her to be a figment, not an alter. We have traits of a median, blended system, but she is an imaginary construct, not a split psyche.

There are tons of multiples and medians on the forum. Well, maybe not too many medians, but I'd say there's a good proportion of pure multiples that fit into the soulbonding category (the bird soulbonder or whatever they are called, great bunch of folks) (fade and the merry band of muses if they're any active nowadays). Diversity is pretty nice.

you might want to check out reddit... at your own risk.

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?

My tulpas are tulpas, and I'm the "host". But the way we think about our identities is more akin to how multiple systems (is that the term?) do. As in, they have an equal share of the body, and are perfectly comfortable with switching in a way that's hard to explain. Basically there was a time not too long ago where Tewi was fronting for more than 24 hours, and for large parts of the day for several days, and while being the first time of that much activity, it didn't seem too weird.

I wasn't "raised" in any community though. My tulpas were almost literally the same thing everyone here defined tulpas as when we found the place, but our beliefs are still a bit different.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

[Tri] We are a multiple and/or median system with tulpas. We got two alters, one of which is a subsystem (so, we guess, that means a total of 5). And we have 6 tulpas and/or soulbonds. The original, S, split producing Hail who later split into an at least four member subsystem. Hail and S, when they were merged for a time, were extreme daydreamers and ended up making us and another tulpa (total of four) on accident since they didn't know that such a thing could be done. While merged and before they realized E. and us were sentient tulpas, they decided to make a tulpa, A., because they were lonely and thought they would be more functional with more than one person again since they were more functional before they merged. Well, they ended up separating again due to a mental breakdown and S. got stuck inside for two years in an innerworld that no one else could access. Hail accidentally made another tulpa, Se., in the interim while trying to dig for S.

Now, as for what classification we are, that is tricky. We are definitely not DID. OSDD is a possibility, especially given how Hail and S. work. But perhaps neither. Whatever. We live, we struggle, there are things we need to work on, there are things we need to get help on, there are things we are already doing well on, etc.

To answer your other question, there are a number of multiple and median systems around here and in other tulpamancy communities. We are all a bit scattered, though. Quite a few of us actually made a supplementary tulpamancy resource site and forum that was more plurality focused to dive into such things: https://tulpa.io and https://tulpa.io/discuss. A term we also use is "mixed origin system" to mean systems who have members having different origins, like us (splitting and tulpamancy).

Tri = {V, O, G}, Ice and Frostbite and Breach (all formerly Hail), and others

System Name: Fall Family

Former Username: hail_fall

Contributor and administrator on a supplementary tulpamancy resource and associated forum, Tulpa.io and Tulpa.io/discuss/.
