Jerry0809 June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 I've been preparing to start my tulpa, but I can't decide between FAQ and Irish's methods. Irish seems to suggest that you let the personality and appearance come naturally, but I'm worried that might not work. What did you start with? Chupi June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 I've been using mostly FAQ's but with parts of Irish's, like wonderlands and relaxing some of the restrictions FAQ puts on his tulpae. But really, I'm also doing plenty that isn't in either guide, like a second personality phase, and using limited parroting to assign a voice before my tulpa speaks. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)

Guest Anonymous June 6, 2012 Share June 6, 2012 Both are really good resources, but I wouldn't consider one supreme over the other. It seems like most people get the results trying both out/mixing the guides and just finding what works for you. For me, I'm only using them as basic guidelines, but will mostly be using the methods I learned way back when I first heard about tulpas.
