RE: Stress relief for forcing

7/12 GAT Members have approved of this to be shifted to the Tips & Tricks section. One more approval is needed to reach the 60%. Should it reach 8/12 by the end of this week (ending next Monday), it will be shifted accordingly along with the other 9 guide submissions stickied for this week.

GAT Commentary:

Approved to be moved to Tips and Tricks.

It's just a bit of symbolism for relaxation and focusing. Most people end up developing or learning a method for such purposes when interacting with their tulpa, either naturally or by some such guide.
Personally, I tend to avoid symbolism aside from that which comes naturally to me - instead I found focusing on my breathing, or senses or sense of self - to work just as well for getting relaxed or focused on the task at hand - not unlike this:

RE: Stress relief for forcing

10/12 GAT members have approved of this for Tips & Tricks, which is way over the approval percentage requirement. Will be shifted accordingly by the end of the deadline (12-23-2013) either through the GAT manager (waffles) or vice-manager (Linkzelda).

If my tally is inaccurate in any way, please inform me GAT members.

I know the symbolism is stupid, but it seems to work, maybe because of the way you focus. I heard somewhere that soldiers are taught to focus on a hurt part of their body to maintain control longer so a medic can reach them, this is probably related to that.

As a military medic I can confirm that this is practiced and does work.
