God Mind/Hive Mind Theory

Recommended Posts

I've been tossing this one around for a since i was 13 years old reading everything I could from the library of Alexandria website. Adding and removing bits and pieces based on what i'v learned over the years. I'd like to talk about it.

In summary, I'm basically proposing that, through the use of tulpas as force multipliers, one achieve the highest states of existence and (Or) Enlightenment using esoteric thought forms and energy systems of different spiritual practices; And/Or Forge a brand new personalized path to these desired states or even states unthought of before. Stick with me here.

Many of these practices revolve around the idea that thought and matter are interconnected. And that the physical body is only one part in a multi-layered existence that can be interacted with and changed based on thought and more importantly the emotions one's attributed to those thoughts. These practices boast a lot of benefits and abilities at their higher stages. Lighting shit on fire with your mind and using energy to call forth desired situations are all par for the course in these rabbit holes.

First, we have the chakra systems described in Sanskrit by Indian dudes thousands of years ago. These come in so many shapes and forms that it's clear that there is no one way or set of ways to achieve the goals of this spiritual practice. Some suggest there are 6 chakras, others that there are 12 or 16 or even 124. Each depiction different in its construction, location and general uses. Kundalini, chi, chakra, all the same shit and all incredibly fluid in their application. From everything i could gather, these teaching are traditional pathways to desired emotional and physical states that have been passed down through individual tribes who worked out their own versions. If you want to follow a specific teaching you can, and achieve it's recorded benefits. But its not required. they are guidelines if anything and can be molded and reshaped like any thoughtform to produce effects that are entirely based on the person creating them.

Second revolves around new age spiritual mumbo. A branch of theology that's planted dead center into (self-becoming god or self already being god) line of thinking. Usually, they just steal and bastardize things from other stuff, mostly a mix of jewish egregors, pagan elemental worship and Sumerian sacred geometry. All of it is metaphorical and deals with the idea that all of existence and creation ends and begins at the same source and that this source is consciousness itself or is conscious or is in some way responsible for consciousness. Regardless it all comes down to same thing. (Not really but you get it.)

Third comes from the tulpa community itself. You guys have been pretty busy here and as an internet bound tribe you have created your own pathways to creating, controlling, erasing and reworking thoughtforms. A skill with boundless applications. Your guides would be described as religious text a few short centuries ago and those among you who boast the greatest proficiency would have been gods among men but i digress.

The Theory is simple

Apply meditation and other (Mental workout) practices to increase mental survivability (Sanity)

Craft a personal religion where you are the deity (Or perhaps a more subtle interpretation regarding the state of existence and you becoming one with source whatever works)

Create a wonderland that would be your temple, base of operations, holy center.

Create servitors/tuplas who sole goal is to worship you/ repeat enlightening mantras (I.E Love light, i am whole, i am god) Things of this nature or alternatively; (I have Power, I have money.) and other material wants and desires. Or create thoughtforms who's entire purpose is to push you along a certain path to enlightenment. Work on particular aspects of spiritual processes for you automatically and/or connect yourself with your unconscious mind.

I figure if any of this shit has any merit then applying multiple minds to a task in the same body would multiply the effects. Alternatively, this could be used to attain non-spiritual states of mind one finds desirable. Most of these spiritual practices revolve around the idea of Insight into the state of all existence. Recognizing the binary nature of reality (Light/dark Good/evil On/off Life/death 1/0 Left brain/Right brain) Accepting it and forging a path to a new paradigm outside of the binary to something in between.  This state is acknowledged to be the state between awake and dream. The unconscious. As Egregor itself is a greek word for this very concept.

What im looking for from you guys is suggestions, refinement and discussion. How have your tulpas changed your mindset? How do feel bringing spirituality into the discussion? Do you see any merit to this idea? I'd like to hear the opinions of others and other ways like this that tulpas and their Ilk can be used.

Ok, couple things here:

1) I'm throwing rotten tomatoes at anyone thinking about insulting this religious research. Not all research has to be science, and science is still a religion so think about that before you disregard anything here.

2) I am just impressed by this post. I'm really into science but religion is something I am factinated by despite my lack of understanding.

Anyway...

I personally consider Tulpamancy to have some spiritual / religious qualities, but not everyone on the forum may agree. I appreciate the idea of the "layered planes of existence and soul ideas" but I don't think I am on board with everything else, mostly because it's not something I know too much about. I believe I have a soul and Ranger his own soul, whether that happened because it formed off of mine, his soul was sucked into my body, his soul was in my body the whole time, etc.

As for the other stuff, I don't think I have spent enough time thinking and researching about spirituality and God (in or out) to have a good feel for what I should believe in. I find the inner god teachings attractive, but I am agnostic so I don't really care if I'm wrong or if I change my mind later on.

It's also possible I have more information on my spiritual practices or rituals that I am not even aware of or I don't know how to communicate. I guess reading progress reports would be the only thing other than asking people directly. I don't have a progress report, and that's because I don't to make one right now.

Good luck with your research!

As a side note: If you want more info about stuff that I didn't disclose here, just let me know.

Meow. You may see my headmates call me Gray or sometimes Cat.

I used to speak in pink and Ranger used to speak in blue (if it's unmarked and colored assume it's Ranger). She loves to chat.

Thanks for the input. personally, i lean more on the buddha aspect side of things. Where the physical reality and "Soul" Are one in the same. And that neither are separate from the whole due to some underlying principles of reality. Nobody really knows and thats about as far as it gets.

I got interested in tulpas to further my efforts of lucid dreaming. I manifested a non-sentient being that would help me remember my dreams and help me become lucid during them. I call him the traveling architect. He doesn't speak nor did i build him with a mind of his own. He's just a man i find sometimes in my dreams, who taps his watch when it's about time to get started. from there i considered all sorts of possibilities. What if i could summon teachers in my dreams and learn in my sleep? Or A watcher to record certain aspects of the day to revisit in the night? It's clearly possible even as an advanced form of placebo. So i assume this could be applied across the board. If anyone has seen any naruto, his shadow clones remember things. When he releases them he remembers all of it which allows him to train several dozen times over all at once. You see the point.

As far as spirituality goes i'v yet to see anyone talk about combining the two in a fluid way. I mean lets talk visualization for a second. "Forcing" is a visualization technique. Buddhist hold visualization in high regard as a worthwhile and even necessary practice to further spiritual growth and make the mind both stronger and adaptable. Creating a wonderland that has any real consistent detail is already a worthwhile feat but building upon it to create a tulpa is crossing over into some pretty impressive lands. But i think it can be taken further.

For instance When dealing with new age spiritual theories on "Light bodies" Which are metaphysical forms that surround the body and look more or less like the Electromagnetic toroidal fields produced by human hearts and brains. (And on a larger scale the planet.) most practitioners focus on particular points in and around the body that when measured geometrically form sacred shapes. These shapes can be meditated upon and visualized to increase the durability and effectiveness of this spiritual form.

If that is the case, then it's entirely possible to create a wonderland that is a direct representation of this spiritual body, filled with or composed entirely of the sacred shapes. And then create a tulpa whose only goal is to meditate on these concepts and visualize the concepts in your mind.

Theres a lot more that i want to get into but i'ts 1:30am here so i think it's time i head off to dreamland and see whats on the menu for adventure.

I would encourage you to seek out works on chaos and black magic, as they tie together many of the thoughts you have expressed. In fact, your theory accurately describes the general practices of the Left-Hand Path, using magic and psychological tactics to strengthen and refine the self through individual effort. A strong emphasis is placed on one's subjective universe - the practitioner's unique perspective, unique experiences, unique psychological associations, and so forth. This is why so often you hear "what works for you" regarding tulpas, as it is a subjective process.

I would caution against a lot of the intangible, overly spiritual, verbose, precise, arcane "knowledge" out there, as much of it is conflicting, confusing, and frankly unnecessary. Many such things may have ideas and principles that relate to underlying phenomena, but in and of themselves they often better replaced by something of the individual's creation, instilled with personal significance.

That's what I thought of that got me so interested in tulpa. I'm just researching things now but I plan on trying to create a tulpa soon. You should create a discord where people could share their thoughts and success.

I'm more into the daoist aspect than the Buddhist above.

I'm going to point out my noob was bleeding when I typed that previous post. I'm embarrassed about it and I'm sorry for how I come across in it.

Yeah this belongs in the metaphysics section.

I still believe Ranger has his own soul. That hasn't changed. But I agree with Jamie that it's weird you want to create a worship system within a system. If your goal is to achieve enlightenment through talking to subconscious, you don't need to make yourself God and have your Tulpas worship you.

I believe speaking to the subconscious is equivalent to letting one's impulsive "gut feelings" take form and then respond to them. For example, when drawing a work of art you make decisions that come from your subconscious desires, even when your goal is to draw a person doing something. Details such as the hair, face shape, body type, race, emotional expressions, etc. may be more unintentional than intention at the end of the day.

What I do is I create a random servitor / character / NPC thoughtform that "feels right" or "feels needed" and we talk to it. No worshiping required.

I (now) have a character thoughtform named Chrome who takes the appearance and presence of God. Neither Ranger or I worship him, and he doesn't worship me or Ranger. I see his association with a Christian God to be more of part of who he is rather than any deeper religious connection.

My wonderland is full of NPCs. They universally call us 'the creator and his angels' this is an unintentional happenstance, but i think of it as more of an affirmation of respect for myself (as in, a good thing). This is true of my more advanced thoughtforms as well. (Even R called me 'the creator'.)

But if i start to find idols or burnt offerings in wonderland, i'm making it solely for flora again.

Don't be embarrassed Cat, i wouldn't have thought twice about it if you hadn't said anything. (As in, i know you better than one post would indicate, and it wasn't all that bad anyway.)

I do however believe the Tulpas have power, in that they can unlock and modify aspects of ourselves and our perception of reality. I don't believe they can change reality directly, but if your perception changes positivly, i can't appreciate the difference.

Sigh. OP went away and never reported on whether he advanced to experimenting with his ideas. I guess there's no point in trying to talk him out of anything, but there is just so much I can write here.

There’s nothing in the world wrong with conducting religious research, Cat, though the results of such research should usually have very little impact on practitioners of faith-based religions. But elevating OP's concept to the status of research would require several people agreeing to uniform reporting standards and attempting to follow his plan.

Conducting human experimentation requires high ethical and safety standards that would be difficult to satisfy when intentionally creating a large number of thoughtforms who could potentially gain self-awareness and/or deviate substantially from their original design. What do you do with heretic thoughforms and does it involve fire?

If you are going to make people to worship you, it helps to already be an exalted being. I don’t know much about ‘lesser’ thoughtforms, but Ember and I experience one another as equals and not fundamentally different. In a group of personalities, who gets to be the god and who decides who gets to be the god?

Lighting shit on fire with your mind

If someone could do this, they should have contacted the James Randi Educational Foundation before the One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge was withdrawn. (They had 51 years to step forward.) The universal feature of purported supernatural activity is that its validity remains subject to doubt when required to satisfy objective research protocols.

those among you who boast the greatest proficiency would have been gods among men

That easily could have happened among people with pre-modern worldviews. But someone who, from the outside, usually appears distracted or confused and is subject to erratic changes of mood and behaviour seems to me to be a very disappointing sort of god.

Create servitors/tuplas who sole goal is to worship you/ repeat enlightening mantras (I.E Love light, i am whole, i am god) Things of this nature or alternatively; (I have Power, I have money.) and other material wants and desires.

It seems to me that, if this could be achieved, the host would be tend to become more arrogant, less empathetic, more materialistic, less in touch with objective reality, and overall less ‘enlightened’. But maybe there are better mantras. I like ‘Remember you are only a man.’ Anyone with me?

Or create thoughtforms who's entire purpose is to push you along a certain path to enlightenment.

I can push Ember out of bed in the morning, but I can't push her to arrive anywhere on time. Pushing her to enlightenment would be way beyond me.

I figure if any of this shit has any merit then applying multiple minds to a task in the same body would multiply the effects.

Only if parallel processing is available. Most systems appear to operate serially, though maybe enough practice can produce something akin to hyper-threading. But the same task requires the same regions of the brain, so thoughtforms would be bumping into one another or locked out of access to regions already in use.

My wonderland is full of NPCs. They universally call us 'the creator and his angels'

I sometimes address Ember as ‘creator’, just to be simultaneously very literal and very tongue-in-cheek. I also sometimes address her as ‘my host’, as a Dresden Files reference.

My apologies. I'v been quite busy with my work and studies. Its been a hard path.

There were alot more responses in the 1momth stage of this post then the before and i figured the topic was uninteresting so i forgot about it here. Since then i have moved it over to a few other places.

My initial post was long and alot of things were left open ended so as to not waterlog it. Lets refine a few points.

As one of the first replies stated. This would generally fall under chaos magik. But only in the sense that i am not dedicated to one specific religion of practice but consider them all to be drawing from the same source. Picking and choosing elements that reinforce the end result i desire and creating an amalgamation of sorts.

The reason i consider this related to tulpas is because tulpas as a practice has existed for some time beyond it's perceived begginings in asia. Voodoo, paganism, and even gnosticism have creatures, deities and spiritual tools whos creation and development mirror tulpas to the point of being one in the same in my mind.

Anyway im getting ahead of myself Iv still been amassing knowledge and the dangers ive been made aware of make it pretty obvious this isnt just something anyone can accomplish. But its been made even more clear that few have attempted the exact "recipe" i was hoping to refine. I was hoping to not be the canary in and that someone else had similar ideas and could spark my imagination on the subject.

Id like to thank you for all your imput though every bit is helpful.

Oh i still havent gotten into the physical/sciency side of things, which is the other side i had hoped to discuss.
