How do i work on the personality of a Tulpa?

Recommended Posts

I've begun narration to start off with, but none of the several guides I have read are not very specific on how exactly to work on this. Visualization is likely to be the easiest for me, i think, and i'm pretty on schedule when it comes to narration, but i don't want to do everything else first and come up with a incomplete Tulpa.

Any suggestions?

Best guide for personality: http://tulpa.info/guides/faqman-personality-guide.html

Basically just come up with a handful of traits, and do the math to figure out how long you should work on each trait to get anywhere from 12-15+ hours of personality work done. This part of the guide is useful for what specifically you should do when working on each trait: "When you're outlining the trait be sure to include: How the trait helps them rationalize, how the trait works within their logic system, how the trait plays a role in morality, their perception, their likes, dislikes, social endeavors, faith, personality, quirks, emotions, how the trait makes them interpret their own emotions, how the trait plays a role in their hobbies, and many other things not listed here."

From experience I can tell you it'll help to make some form of diagram for your traits. For me, I made a basic tree diagram for the personality traits, starting with 4 main defining traits, and expanding each of the main traits into 3 sub-traits. Then I gave each sub-trait an even more defining sub-trait, ending up with 28 personality traits. Then I made a basic chart of 27 likes/hobbies, and 27 dislikes. I spent 15 minutes going over each personality trait, and 5 minute for each likes/hobby/dislike. Although I've also heard it's better to not go in depth with it and give a decent amount of room for deviation. Just try whatever you think works best for you. And you of course don't have to follow any of this perfectly, just use it as a guideline.
