How do you feel?

Let's describe physical sensations we're experiencing. It could be interesting.

Right now our stomach feels slightly queasy because Maggie ate a bunch of Nerds in the couple hours before I came to front.

I'm a bit bemused at how to feel, as I just had a dream where I had to play PlayerUnknown's Rainbow Six:GO with a TV remote 2 v 4. It didn't go well.

It's simultaneously a real nightmare of a situation and also hilarious, so I'm caught somewhere in the middle. Amused I suppose.

Describing purely physical sensations is pretty weird, especially since I'll always just be sitting at the computer if I'm writing here. I just woke up, so I should be hungry and will be soon, but am not quite yet as my stomach doesn't really turn on for an hour or so. So it's in a neutral-feeling state of nonetheless emptiness.

Feeling pretty good right now, so hyped about finally getting the 50 wins achievement in getting over it with Bennett Foddy. That'll likely change today though, they're removing my wisdom teeth today and for some reason I'm not allowed to eat or drink anything for pretty much the entire day.

Just got home from the procedure, and honestly so many people overhyped it. It doesn't hurt at all really. Also this chocolate milkshake is delicious. Getting put out by nitrous oxide was such an odd process, I was hazy enough to say dumb stuff like "*hears a beep* Is that me flatlining?" but awake enough to immediately realize how stupid of a question that was.

welllllllll

Lumi doesn't numb very well (we're very resistant to most drugs I guess), and despite mentioning many times problems about not numbing well, he ended up not being numbed very well and long story short the procedure to have only his bottom wisdom teeth out was the most painful experience we've ever had, like his pain tolerance is crazy but he couldn't stop himself from shaking during the procedure tbh. Only afterward did we find out it's not supposed to hurt (doctor just thought we were nervous or something @shaking) and literally everyone was like MAN WHY DIDN'T YOU SPEAK UP and for starters cus it's hard to heckin speak at that point and for seconders

BECAUSE EVERYONE OVERHYPES HOW BAD IT IS! Lumi had always heard how bad it supposedly was but everyone was LYIN or BABIEZ and just talking about the minimal pain you experience after the fact for a day or two. I mean sheesh! So anyway Flan was with him for that and she wasn't very happy lol, maybe more upset than he was. But he says he's glad he's experienced that much pain now just to prove/know he can handle it.

And don't even get me staaaarted on how bad our brother's wisdom-teeth-having-out was. We had to pay $$$$ (that's 4 digits) for an anesthesiologist cus he's got anxiety and kinda messy teeth and according to his dentist he had the most difficult and complicated to remove wisdom teeth he'd ever seen. Brother came home spitting up blood for the rest of the night :\

so yeah, it's totally overhyped, except when it isn't that's also a thing. You were just lucky!

Heh, I'm sorry if I made it sound like it's never a big deal by saying people kept overhyping it. Maybe I was just lucky, and admittedly my pain tolerance is pretty absurd (to the point where I once broke a finger and didn't even notice until a week later when someone else pointed it out). Well, at least neither of them will ever have to go through it again. Evolution, thou art a slow and inefficient god, stop giving us these useless extra teeth that get in the way.

Dissolving an estradiol tablet under my tongue, that's the most prominent sensation for me right now. That, and the air is getting chilly as the sun goes down.

I think Devin wanted a thread about physical sensations because he pays more attention to them than I do, and thought maybe other tulpæ would have a similar interest.
