Pleeb, have you considered adding HTTPS functionality to this site? There are many free certificate providers these days.

Another Guest here.

I would love to see HTTPS support, even if only self-signed. It would be useful for those of us who would like to use our accounts more even when posting through more insecure means (be it proxies, public networks, and so on).

I've been thinking about this for a little bit. If I go SSL, I'll probably be going through my host with a trusted provider.

 

That will cost some money (~$50/year), so I'll have to save up for that.

 

In the meantime, I may screw around with setting up a self-signed certificate when I get some spare time (tulpaforcing is pretty much my #1 priority atm, so updates have been slow), but I'm not sure how well it will work out with this webhost.
