Guest June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 If this was a load of horse crap I think we would have seen even a few people coming out and saying they've had no experience when attempting to create a tulpa. It's very interesting, has there been any talk that you've seen to suggest that (that is obviously not trolling), and could you point me its way? FigN01 June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 The closest I've seen is Moose's thread on how he couldn't get sentience after a bunch of hours of work. I think after that much of an investment, most people have gotten far enough to see some results and would rather keep going than call bullshit on the whole practice. Phi June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 We're all the same few people with multiple accounts. The only three people on this forum are FAQ, Irish, and Pleeb, who all have multiple accounts. FAQ's 'farewell' was only meant to throw you off. He is actually the one of the three who makes accounts that never actually post, or only post one or two posts before never posting again. So really, this forum is only you, the other guy who is actually trying, FAQ, Pleeb, and Irish. Also, just a side note, we are also the people who made everyone think that the Earth is spherical. 10/10, right?
Dear One June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 I can see why you're skeptical, but in my opinion the pros of having a tulpa outweigh the cons of wasting 100 hours of your life if it turns out you can't make one.

ThatOneGuy June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 It's funny because this is exactly how many people view the parapsychology communities. With a sense of 'if it's so bogus, why are there so many of them and why aren't they leaving when they get no results?' Anyways, see earlier link posted. I don't know of anybody else with issues where they get zero result. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Flower June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 I would guess that the ones who haven't gotten results are those who quickly pass by and never put any time and effort in it (nor actually believes it). I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.

Even if this is total bullshit, it wouldn't have been wasted. In the end even if you didn't have a tulpa you greatly increased your visualization skills, mindfulness, and creativity. Of course through all the years I've been talking about tulpas I've never once heard someone who tried it and came to the conclusion that it's bullshit. That's true, there is some utility to be gained even if it doesn't work. With regards to the topic, I think threads like this will pop up every now and then because there doesn't seem to be any way to prove that a person has a tulpa. Maybe someday we'll be able to tell if a person has a tulpa based on brain scans or some other tests.
