Thanks to everyone who checked out my last videos; the warm reception and support for this channel is really driving me to pump out as many videos as possible before classes start again.

If anyone would like to help out with this channel, I could really use some assistance with the editing. If anyone has any skills or experience with video editing and would like to be co-producer, PM me :)

Thank you for sharing your experiences, I'm glad the visit turned out well for you.

Good job on helping your host, Aury. My host was also very surprised at the amount of friends I was able to make (: cause he never really cared about that and he didn't create me with an intention to meet people. His reasons are a bit vague, I think it was scientific curiosity mixed with a feeling that plurality is a very natural and a healthy state of existence.

My sister calls me Aury sometimes :3

Psychiatrists don't really care about this sort of thing unless there's a direct effect on your mental disorder. They're in high demand so most of them have large caseloads and quite frankly couldn't care less about your brain buddies that you conjured up. Incidentally, this is why it's recommended that you also see a therapist, because they can explore these types of things more in-depth and they're better suited for diagnosing you in the first place. And as a therapist-in-training myself, I can say that most would be critical of an adult having what he claims are sentient imaginary friends, but if you were my client, I'd just want to make sure your tulpas weren't being harmful to your psychological welfare (and I'd probably be interested to hear more about them too).

EDIT: That sucks about your parents. If something like that happened to me I'd just tell them to fuck off and move as far away as humanly possible. Sounds like things worked out well for you nonetheless...

I really appreciated the therapist's pointing out that your parents weren't being malicious. When you're raised with strict beliefs, it's hard to move outside of them. A lot of LGBT people and all around weirdies like us get really angry at otherwise well meaning parents, possibly because of all the bad stories they hear, without trying to be understanding.

Listening to your other story told from Aury's perspective, it's all the more amazing that you were able to retain that maturity to accept that assessment. I applaud you.

At 2:56 and 3:11, you have a clip that repeats itself, btw.

This gives me some courage to bring up tulpas with a therapist I've considered seeing again. I really don't want to hold anything back from her, and she was open minded about my alternative interpretations of my own symptoms (more woo woo spirity stuff than just simple disorders) so I have faith that she will watch you video and seriously take it into consideration.

I saw this video. It was good. I don't have a productive comment to make, but wanted to comment anyway.

I do have to say, that some of my LGBT friends have the other sort of puritanical parents. The ones that freak you out with how out to get you they seem. But there are also reasonable ones as well. The position is not coming from nowhere.
