Gray May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 Has anyone tried doing this? I don't see a problem with tulpa being a shapeshifter in wonderland but would it be possible for tulpa to keep this ability in the real world i.e. to impose it while keeping this ability? glitchthe3rd May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 Probably more work imposing them, but sure, I don't see why not. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Pleeb May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 It's theoretically possible. I recall FAQ Man saying that it could be done if you visualize the different forms it would be allowed to shape shift into, before it's imposed. Spoiler An image in a signature behind a hidden tag! Gray May 22, 2012 Author Share May 22, 2012 I was thinking about it being able to take any form it wants not just a few premade ones.
Voltroll May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 Oh you guys. Yes, it is possible, but you need to change the way that you tulpaforce. There is a community like our own out there that we call the daydays (or the gaygays). The create what they call deamons, basically a tulpa with a few differences... One of the key differences is that they don't follow the rules of reality at all and constantly change shape.
Chupi May 22, 2012 Share May 22, 2012 So far as I've seen, daemons eventually choose a form, though they still shapeshift some. However, tulpae get far more thoroughly imposed -- if imposed at all, daemons don't appear as detailed or real as what we do. I think for shapeshifting to work, you either need to tulpaforce each predefined form or give up having them shapeshift while imposed. Also I don't see why you couldn't add more forms after it's imposed. It may be a bit harder than before imposition since you're seeing the tulpa's existing forms all day long in reality but the new one only in your mind's eye when tulpaforcing. But it's not like everything gets magically set in stone the instant you impose. tulpatalk May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 More and more people seem to be doing this. I'd like to come back and see where it has gotten them in a couple of months. [Note: Opinions]
