Flandre's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Love

Better to let me write this than Tewi. We spent a couple hours visualizing before bed last night. I went to sleep switched (too tired to switch back), and had relatively clear dreams all night. But interestingly, we had a dream from Lucilyn's perspective. As nonsense as any other dream, but basically.. There was a go-kart race (similar to Mario Kart but less cartoony/no items) that was being used to decide this year's most popular Touhou characters (as opposed to, you know, the usual poll). There was no detail of any of the other racers except one, so I assumed they were normal humans representing a character. Except the person tied for first with Lucilyn, Kanako, who was literally the character. Right before the last lap Kanako's kart stalled on the finish line and Lucilyn was excited she was going to win, and she did. She was bragging "I'm the best Touhou! I'm the best Touhou!" when she "realized" she was using Lumi's body and nobody had any idea what she meant. Not that that aligns with any of the logic prior, but it was a dream.

So that was interesting. The last two using the body were me and Reisen. And we've not had a dream so clearly from someone else's perspective before. Heck, last night I spent an hour visualizing Reisen and I in the wonderland, and then another hour with Lumi. Lucilyn was present for only a few minutes of all that. Makes as much sense as never dreaming about us in the first place I guess.

Tewi's

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.
I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

RE: Lumi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Moon

Oops, Tewi switched back before posting today. Well, she'll be here all day tomorrow now that school's started. Anyways.. Let's see. I don't remember how last night went for her, just when she went to sleep and woke up for school. I feel like we had relatively clear dreams again, but I can't quite remember them anymore. Seems like I missed something interesting too, so I'll ask her about that.

Actually I'm being really forgetful right now. We ran into a friend from highschool (who I last saw over 3 years ago), had to put our dog down because he's really old, and then a video that's been in the works for over a year was uploaded (Jerma Rumble 4) which was pretty long and fun, then we had a birthday song&cake.. So, I forgot what Tewi told me about tonight. Oops. Something about which one of us would be going to sleep - oh, she told me not to go to sleep too late, nevermind lol. So yeah, will be another night with Flan and I working on sleep-awareness.

We're honestly just linking any calm music we have at this point. This one's genre is "Sylvia" rather than "Dream" on our itunes, but it works. They're all something we might listen to before going to sleep. This is also a remix, if you think you'd prefer the original, here. I personally prefer the glitchy version myself, so it has twice the plays the original does.

Tewi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Rabbits

So Lumi got to bed at 1:45 AM, when I told him to be asleep by 2. But for some reason he couldn't sleep and didn't actually fall asleep until after 5AM. So that was nice. Seems he drifted off a few times, but he says he didn't actually sleep until then. I believe that, because for some reason we can tell very clearly when we've been asleep or not. We have a very good sense of time, and glance at our digital clock often throughout every night out of habit, so we can tell how much time has passed since we were last awake pretty accurately too. Anyways, not letting that happen to me. I'll try taking melatonin, but I'm also going to bed earlier.

Because we don't write a dream journal (anymore, we did a few years ago), when we "recall" our dreams they still tend to fade if we don't find them interesting. Since we tend to write these posts before we go to bed the next night, it's honestly difficult to remember the dreams we remembered, if that makes sense. But we do make note of if we remembered them or not. Lumi says he remembered a few, which I'm sure were vague. He also woke up out of his last one, so it was a given. I keep wanting to write that I spent the day doing schoolwork as if this were a recounting of our day, but it's only really for the nights.

Turns out we have quite a few more songs we might listen to before going to sleep than are in our "Dream" genre. We'll post our most played song at the start of the next page.

Tewi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Rabbits

Oops, didn't write a post today/yesterday. Writing this at 3AM on our laptop now. Uh, same old same old.

It looks like I'll be the one around for a while while I sort out schoolwork, of which there is a lot. So I suppose I need to get proactive with the lucid dreaming stuff. I'll get right on that.

Another

Seems like all of our posts in this thread fall into the exact same format, that's interesting.

Tewi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Rabbits

Yesterday's post today. Sorry I'm getting behind, I've been busy. I'm remembering most dreams we have every night. But unfortunately school is taking up most of my focus.

I'll post again later today I guess. Don't want to mess up the post every day integrity.

This song reminds us of city lights at night. Because uh, we first listened to it a lot while in Las Vegas, not because it's anything like that. Also it has "melodic dubstep" as discussed in the comments, if that completely ruins songs for you then don't bother listening. (Just look at the comments to see what I mean, otherwise)

Again this probably isn't sleep music for a lot of people. There's a lot of rather fast or loud music that can help us sleep. But I know people who listen to metal before bed.. and at every other time.

Well I've got nothing.

I'm slacking a bit. I will let the others have the weekend, and afterward I'll try harder.

We're more or less out of music that's universally "sleepy". Will post whatever from now on. Music that is pleasant to listen to while conscious will have to do.

In which this slowly turns into another music thread instead of a lucid dreaming one.

RE: Lumi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Moon

It's like a tradition now, I didn't want to break it, but we are running out of fitting music.. just in general. Might seem like we have a lot, but "calm and quiet" is relatively rare among our music. We've only posted a couple of songs that had particular sentimental value this whole time. Anyways, with the "the posts have theme music too!" comment we figured giving a single song a day wasn't so bad. It's not a thread you're supposed to read through all at once if that wasn't obvious.

Anyways. I was just stalling for posts until we hit the next page anyway, then we'll be done with music and it'll become the daily slog we've all been waiting for.

RE: Lumi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Moon

Hey, these are all songs I've listened to before going to sleep on many occasions, very on topic.

Tewi was not slacking, by my standards anyway. She's remembered at least four dreams a night every night. But it seems like it's easier for me or Flan to work on lucid dreaming because we can kind of keep each other reminded of the goal. Tewi already has so much on her mind I'm surprised she even kept up the dream recall. We'll be able to get back to the more in-depth lucid-dreaming-not-just-music stuff soon I think. We just finished our first week of school for this semester so we (or two-we..) had other priorities.

But don't worry, if there's one thing I'm good at, it's prioritizing sleep over school.

But the music is coming to an end. Three left of the same album. Although the next two will be the definition of sleep music, this one is the definition of my sleep music.

Also please don't post 'til after ours on page four it'll bug me forever if we don't start it with the last song.

RE: Lumi's Dreaming Thread; Dreams of Moon

Alright just recalling dreams is getting boring. Working on awareness is much more important. Flan and I will do that to..day. We're basically staying awake as long as we (feel like) can to reset our sleeping schedule to a normal time. I'm surprised we went so long before doing that, lol. We do it more often than you'd expect.

Actually that's a good opportunity, to stay up as late as we like without ruining our sleep schedule. I'll stay up another 19 hours or so (been about 8 so far) and utilize that super unconscious state of consciousness to work on sleep awareness again.

And I'll do so.. with this music!

Are you guys un-hyped for the most un-hype song?? Truthfully, that would be the one above. That song is like music for people who are already asleep. But because the next one is the one that actually puts me to sleep, I consider it the true sleep song.
