Memory Experiment

I have not yet finished creating my Tulpa but I have a question about the memory recall.

Does the Tulpa actually unlock your long lost memories and details or does it just describe them to you?

For example suppose you want to remember a long lost memory from childhood, you will ask the Tulpa to go into your memory and subconscious, but will you actually remember it or just get a vivid description from the Tulpa.

Another more serious question is the use of Tulpa on tests.

Suppose you are in University (or high school for the underage) studying something you will need for your future career, take Med School for instance: If your "studying" plan involves reading the material and then using your tulpa on the test to recall the information, will it be learned or will it just be blind recall with no understanding told to you by the tulpa (aka it might as well be writing the test for you). If so, there are so many potential dangers. What if some doctor does this to ace med school but then when it comes to the real job, they will constantly have to rely on their tulpa to tell them what to do (since the doc would have understood the bare minimum of the material).

Even worse, what if for some reason the person has to kill their tulpa (because it is too powerful/whatever reason it may be), will those recalled memories go back to being locked away or will they be avaliable to the person(host)?

I will have no moral problem with letting my future Tulpa help me on tests and educational aspects but I am legitimately afraid that I will simply not learn.

Can anyone who ALREADY has a fully functional tulpa give some insight on this?

Have memories that the Tulpa helped recall become permanently unlocked for you or do you need to go back to consult your tulpa?

Clair usually does a combo of showing me what she can visually of the memory and tells me details about it. As far as we know, they can get anything that's still up there, be it long term or short term.

Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

Okay fair enough, but if you were to read a list of 100 random numbers, the next day recall them using your tulpa, (assume you get 100% perfect recall). If you were to try to recall it again the next day but without your tulpa, would you be able to?

It all depends on if they're stored in your memory from that. I'm no expert on memory storage, however, so I can't give a definitive answer.

Is there any way to move this Thread to the research section and have a few people try this out

i.e

Hypothesis: Memories recalled by Tulpa will be permanently accesable by host

Procedure:

Day 1: Write down 100 random numbers on sheet of paper and read them.

Day 2: Recall the numbers onto a separate sheet of paper using tulpa. Record accuracy.

Day 3: Recall the same numbers onto a separate sheet of paper while tulpa is asleep or in wonderland (aka don't ask your tulpa to help). Record accuracy.

I think this should be done with numbers because they are info that is the most difficult to memorize other than rote memorization.

Numbers are easy. Just for fun, give me 100 numbers, 1-100 (in a random order, i.e. 5,16,72,4...), and I'll tell you how I would go about memorizing that order in no time at all.

P.S. I'll make sure to do this when Haru is imposed.

I'm interested in the experiment. But, because it's very easy to "cheat" at this experiment, make sure you pick multiple honest people. It'd probably also be a good idea to have the subjects post up their numbers however long they have before they begin the experiment, and then, when the experiment begins, have them post up their guesses, perhaps? Might make the experiment a tad more authentic rather than people just saying, "Yup, got 79 with my tulpa right and 4 without".

I know it's simple if your tulpa is imposed but the point of the experiment is to see your memory after you have recalled the numbers with your tulpa once.

I.e do you need a tulpa to recall the numbers after they have already been recalled once or can you easily access the memory without your tulpa.

Well really I don't see why people would cheat since they wont really gain anything from doing so and when the results are communicated electronically there are so many ways to cheat that it's impossible to check unless we all go on a live cam.

Not to mention there is absolutely no way to prevent the person to not use their tulpa the second time they recall the numbers.

I think we should just get as many results as possible to see the general trend.

NOTE: when you are recalling, if you accidentally skip a number, but the next ones are still correct, count the numbers as right.

If your numbers are: 3 4 5 2 8 5 1

and you recall : 3 4 2 8 5 1

That would still be 6/7 not 2/7

Seconded.

Also, number generation HERE

We could do it with playing cards.

2 reasons:

1- It's actually more useful, to be honest.

2- It's more quantifiable. (almost) Everyone has a deck of cards. Instead of just reeling off the order of the cards, they organise the deck into the order, and post the order they get. Also, russians point of missing one out should not affect the subsequent ones, is much more easily measured. How many cards need to be moved for it to be 100% correct?

I will see if Philos is up to this, once she starts talking.

"What did you do today?" "Oh, you know, got called a hater by a schizophrenic's marijuana-fueled wolf hallucination." "Righteous!"

I call her Philos. My BLOG is updated daily.
