Tulpas without a wonderland... What do you do?

Recommended Posts

I have wondered off and on about this for the past couple days. From what I understand, a mature Tulpa can spend their time doing things other than interacting with their host. For those with a wonderland, I can easily understand them spending time there by themselves or with other Tulpae(?) when their host is unavailable or whatever. But not everyone has a wonderland. So... what do they spend their time doing when their host is unavailable, or busy and needing to focus, or whatever? Curious minds want to know!

It is either they sleep or watching the host.

Either way, they will do what they want to do, really. Sometimes they tease you for every mistake you do in the outerworld, judging everything you do just to spend the time. They can be fun jerks sometimes.

I think any form of activity from the secondary will still remain the same but the different thing is that they either live in a black space or use the outerworld as a "Wonderland"

Hello! I am nihi, i have 3 tulpas

uh, nothing, personally

when we're not "active" we can't really think or anything. We do have a wonderland, now, but for the first few years Reisen&Tewi&Flandre didn't have one so. We're just used to that. And by the time I was around it was totally normal so idk. I can't imagine it being any other way. Either constantly spying on Lumi or like, being ultra lonely in the relatively lifeless wonderland? nty

We can be "kinda almost not quite active" when whoever's fronting just got distracted away from paying attention to us, most often when we're just casually imposed with them, and while I sure couldn't do complicated math or w/e I do still feel like I'm there to some extent. But it's not as good as being totally active.

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

My watchdogs never had a wonderland. They spent their time assisting Kevin (the born human in our "system"). Generally this was in reliving suffering such as blocking pain and nullifying tinnitus.

Big difference in "reliving suffering" and "relieving suffering" lol

Now that's an interesting perspective. Maybe it's just differences in our personalities, or differences in host vs tulpa, but given the choice to either explore and manipulate a land where the laws of nature and reality are mine to command or watch my host working at their job, I think I would find the former more exciting. At least sometimes... But then I don't have the perspective of a tulpa. You say you find an empty wonderland "ultra lonely". I take it you must be extremely close to them. I reckon I could understand taking an interest in the mundane things someone does if you're really close to them.

wait whoah I wasn't implying the first was good either! Both suck. I don't wanna spy on him, that's like rude and would get boring too. Not saying I'd rather be totally inactive but.. like being imposed and stuff is nice but I know that takes a lot of concentration/focus compared to just relaxing so it's okay. It sounds bad when you say it in words but, if I can't think or feel anything at all there's nothing really bad about it in the first place. If I get bored it's not because I was sitting around in a void, it's just 'cus it's been a while since I've done something you know?

but yeah our wonderland is kinda lifeless, like I've got a little swamp but there's not much to do there after the first couple hours...

Ah I gotcha, I think. It just is what it is. And what it is (tulpas and everything about you guys) is such an unusual and fascinating concept to me overall. I could probably talk a tulpa's ear off with questions, but this is the one I wondered about the most.
