My new tulpa and my mind.

i am reposting here from another forum because it is more fitting here.

i am thinking of writing on this board my newbie experience with my first tulpa so i can get motivated (and to make this sub more active).

-last night, i have created my wonderland as i was active forcing, it is a lake and a tree with the horizon ever green. however, i decided to create and explore a forest with my tulpa and for some reason i yet have to understand, we decided to climb a tower. we also went to a town but before i explain that i have to talk about my tulpa.

-my tulpa looks like a milotic. the only difference, is that i decided to make her black with little glowing dots resembling the stars. i have a hard time picturing it completely. and sometimes i imagine her as pink. sometimes it looks vague and plain like regular milotic. i named her alexandra. i don't know if she can yet ''talk'' or is just my improvisation skills but we talk fast, fluently but short. her voice changes always.

-the strange thing, is that when we went to the town, she was scared. i didn't feel her scared. she just said she was scared. after that, i just got tired and slept.

-this day, i couldn't passive force as much because of school and i had to concentrate on work, but i was doing it when i had the time to think. in passive forcing, i just asked to her a random question or just explaining the situation or the object.

-recently i have active forced for around 20 minutes. we returned to town. i put armour in her ''hair-hands'' and a helmet to make her reassured. i put an armour and a helmet too. when we entered the main castle of the village, i found a doppelganger. a version of me that represented an emotion ''anger''. after i have defeated ''me'' (with the help of Alexandra by throwing blasts of energy and water) i got a red crystal. probably i will create an scenario where i battle multiple versions of me or i don't know.

and that's day 2 for me. i am extremely sceptical if she really talks on her own. but i will keep doing it.

What do you guys think. i would appreciate a lot some help and answers!

You don't have to color your text white, just leave it at default. White will appear as basically invisible on the mobile theme, default will make it visible everywhere.

Hi. I'm one of Luminesce's tulpas. Unlike the others, I don't think I stand out too much from him personality wise.

I'm just special because "I'm a tulpa". So I don't think I've much to offer, here. I'm happy enough to just be with him.

You're off to a good start, just based on your doing things together and not complaining about "how fake it feels" like some people. Your tulpa will become more autonomous over time, as your brain learns who they are and how they think. Things like their voice will become more independent/separate from you over time with practice (/"forcing"). Practice can be as simple as talking to them about stuff. Wonderlanding is good too. What you described is more or less wonderland adventuring. Somewhat like mind-roleplay, it can be fun and expose your tulpa to new scenarios which will help with their development, but you need to remember it's just in your mind and you have control over it. Nothing can harm you or your tulpa if you don't want it to.

Yes I'm a tulpa, read the signature below my post. I'm about seven years old. Click the link in my signature if you want to know more about us I guess.

intriguing! do you switch from your host to answer by yourself? how does it feel for a tulpa to be in a physical world compared when living in wonderland? i want to know since my tulpa has no arms or legs, she is a sort of an eel-snake

Talking for your tulpa is called parroting. Two things to keep in mind is it does not matter if you parrot early on, and it is hard to know if you are doing it but it is not important to spend too much time on the problem, especially early on.

Obsessing over it is called parrotnoya, and we have some guides to help deal with that.

Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.

We switch with our host to do stuff on our own. I usually don't, but switching is good for being active I guess, akin to forcing, so they make me do it every so often. If your tulpa is "in the physical world", they are either imposed or switched, assuming they're feeling stimuli themselves. Possession involves them controlling the body, but you're still the one feeling everything. Switching is just completely taking the host's place. I'm really no different from any other human while switched, in that regard. Feels the same as it does for my host, though that's really quite a change from sitting around in the mindspace. Imposition on the other hand is still just imagination, so it's not so different from the wonderland, you're just getting the imagined stimuli from the environment the one fronting (being-switched) perceives, rather than from the environment you're imagining. Imposing only has to follow real-world-ness as much as you want it too though. You can walk through walls while imposed or whatever, you're not really there, just tricking the mind into thinking you are.

So, if you guys learned to switch, your tulpa might find it strange or even difficult to become accustomed to using your body's arms and legs in the first place. With imposition, she could move around as she normally does, as long as you can visualize it. I don't think you're capable of possession since she has no experience using arms or legs to know how to control them in the first place. As for how to learn to do any of that.. I don't know, check the guides section, there's no rules because it's ultimately your imagination that will shape mental experiences, but plenty of people have made guidelines that worked for them. I'd rather not try and explain any of that in-depth myself right now. Also, you're far too early on to be worrying about those "advanced" skills, focus on vocality and visualization for now.

thanks for the answer! i think in the long future, i could start with her practising by possessing just a part of my body, however, i don't want to think much about it.

so last night i was active forcing again. Alexandra (my tulpa) and i decided to go to adventure in the desert. in wonderland. she liked to slither around and swim in the sand (she is a milotic) while i was seeing her physical appearance i can get her image more consistent but i still have difficulty place her actual color (compared to a regular milotic ) and she also goes pink sometimes, for some reason. Then, we got to a town made of sand. we went to a cafe and we drank and ate. i was surprised how accurate i could imagine the taste of coffee and meat. Still weird to think of tho. i also practiced to touch her to get the idea of her texture. for some reason it's more easy to me to imagine what she feels like than what she looks like.  most of the time, we wandered around, and we talked (parroting) and i am still unsure if parroting is more effective than just talking to her (what do you guys think about that?).

This morning i couldn't passive force as much because of exams, but i did some. i just tell to her the meaning of an object and what no reading to her what i am reading.

And recently i have active forced for about 40 minutes(is that good enough with the extra time i do in the night?) i could have done 50 minutes instead but i was getting stressed with the time so i just stopped when i wanted to.

what do you guys think? Not as much action as the last time. But i am still unsure if putting action or involving some extra things like people in my wonderland is going to affect my effectiveness with developing Alexandra that just me talking to her.
