RE: New GAT Nominations
I think Glass would make for a better balance within the team. That said, you gave good reasons as to why Josh should be in the team, so I'll be counting that as a nomination. Let's let votes decide what happens. Also, they'll both be GATs either way, but in this case we're voting for who does the typing.

And Glass, I have spoken to you more than I have spoken to Josh. Well, at least been a part of more conversations where you have been a part of as well. I have seen you talk more than him, too. That's why I told him to talk more ages ago, because the little I saw of him, I liked a lot. And he didn't turn annoying when he spoke, actually only started to look more and more like a cool guy. I still think he words himself much better than you and think he would make for the better speaker for the GAT.

Memory isn't a strong suit with this hardware, so we'll take your word on who's spoken with/around you more. You're definitely right about her talking more.

We're really unsure about where that other stuff comes from though. Articulation has been and still is a weak skill of mine for many years, lol. I think we click better because we hate the same shit and aren't afraid to say so and laugh at it. Chick just doesn't see the point in that sort of thing and I can see that rubbing you the wrong way or something. Eh.

Honestly dude, I really didn't want to be on this thing. Chick was the one who wanted to get more involved with the community. I have my moments, but they're usually cut short when I see much of the same bullshit. The other part isn't really true though I think. Separating our decisions and desires hasn't ever been an issue with us, so if Chick is part of X, I'm not. If that weren't the case, half of .info would be banned, lol. Who's a part of X is the one who'll type. Why would it be any other way if we're separate people? lol.

He means that if you both want to add your two cents to what the other is writing, you're free to. Just like the rest of us could and probably do add some points the tuppers want to say, if they're interested.

Basically this, but if you don't want to be a GAT, that's all cool. I'll remove you from the list in that case.

RE: New GAT Nominations
I agree with what Sands said to begin with, the team is fine as is.

I'm sorry I dropped but I've got a lot of RL shit going on. I still think the GAT can do good to make it to where the more useful guides get read by new members rather than outdated or confusing wishwash.

RE: New GAT Nominations
I nominate Quilten. Sure enough, he's around, has tulpas and that, and has the time and will to hopefully be a productive member of the GAT.

Since I'm reviving this thread I'll update the OP to reflect what's going on now. If you really care the old one is http://pastebin.com/tVkEZr6V. I kind of fudged a protocol which is pretty much like the original one so that's up for negotiation if people want to negotiate.

RE: New GAT Nominations
I'd like to nominate Joshua, He's from the redditulpas part of the community and seems to be on the level.

I talked to him and he seemed like he'd be alright with it.

Please add a reason to your nomination Quora.

RE: New GAT Nominations
I nominate myself. I feel I'm at a high enough level of knowledge and skill compared to some people around here to be able to provide useful input. I also have some minor skill in writing which could be able to help people out with formatting and wording their guides. I'll be leaving some comments on submissions in the coming days so you guys can get a taste for my style.

I nominate sushi. He's knowledgeable and is pretty active compared to some of the other users I'd nominate, so I think he'd be a good GAT member.

Default  RE: New GAT Nominations
I nominate Dog. I did ask about his activity and he has said that he should be able to handle GAT duty. Of course, we can easily get rid of inactive members if that ends up happening. My main reason for nominating him is because of how he once already basically did our job for us and handled it quite well in this thread. It makes me quite happy to see non-GAT members give advice to guide writers when they're not "required" to do so. Looking at what parts they fixed at least shows to me that they want the guide quality standard to stay high and that they have the patience to fix those little things that are off, too.

He was asked about becoming a GAT member by waffles before in the same thread but he said he didn't see it. I will make it official now and nominate him.
