tulpatalk May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 How all did everyone organize their personality traits before they started actually forcing? Lists, nested or not? Memory? Complex charts? Why? I want to get a "feel" for how other people are doing it so I can plan for my own. It can also function simply as extra optional documentation for the forum's members. FAQ man May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 This might help you out, there's a ton of traits on that dropbox link, except they're organized into "negative" and "positive" which I detest. Other than that, there are tons of trait lists on google and stuff if you just search for stuff pertaining to fictional characters. tulpatalk May 11, 2012 Author Share May 11, 2012 Not choosing the traits, but how people organize their traits. It seems like it can range from Pleeb's boxes and lines method to other's just general concept in their heads. [Note: Opinions]
FAQ man May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 Well there's another sign that I need to increase the font on my screen to 18p. I wrote them down on a sheet of lined paper that had a doodle of Elton John smacking Rosie O'Donnel on the back.
Pleeb May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 I use Big Five, here's what Chupi is doing. Once the new host gets situation (gen in the announcements board, I need your comments!), I'll probably upload those tables and stuff. Spoiler An image in a signature behind a hidden tag! bila bila May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 I guess I need to work more on the personality traits than I though I should. I didn't know they're planned out so much. Did everyone write out their tulpa's traits?
Qookie May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 I'm using a modified version of Chupi's model, which is Big Five, 16 Factors, Emotional triggers and responses, Layers, and broad Likes/Dislikes. ちぇえええええええええええええええええええええええええええええ~ん!
FAQ man May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 I wish to see this paper. It's somewhere in my personal filing system (stack of papers and mail on top of the fridge). I'll take a picture of it when I can.
Guest Anonymous May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 I wish to see this paper. It's somewhere in my personal filing system (stack of papers and mail on top of the fridge). I'll take a picture of it when I can. The one thing I don't like is that in this day and age, no one appears to save the .doc (or .odt, as with Pleeb) or have a scanner :dodgy: . Pleebs images are low res, and it sucks because of that. I've asked the Pleebster if he could shoot me the source files, and he said he would. He's probably busy, but I would like the community to benifit. In the meantime, I might post a resource page of various things copy pasta'd (the tropes and wiki pages on the Big 5, for example) from the internet into text format so it can be printed. FAQ said the recent updates to his guides were Pleebs, so big ups to him. I might end up using my spare time to translate Irish_'s guides, but they lack the consistency *cough* shoddyMSpaintjob *cough* that FAQ's have. I personally use a mix of both guides, like the idea of a wonderland in Irish_'s stuff, but not to the extent of building a huge world around it. Irish_ said he put whole libraries in his world. I just move Vinyl around Google Earth style, and just imagine her under the blanket (I force with a blanket on), sleeping. Feel free to tell me how this will stunt the growth of my tulpa.
