SSaint July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 I noticed a few (or was it just one?) people saying they'd gotten possession to work. Would you trust your tulpa, having possessed you, to drive around in your car? Climb a tall tree? Etc. Things that are potentially dangerous if you fuck up. If you wouldn't trust your tulpa with something like that, is it because you think they lack the ability to do it safely, or because it would just be odd putting the well-being of your body into somebody else's care? “There is not enough love and goodness in the world to permit giving any of it away to imaginary beings.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
Semi-Nomadic July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Atasco, the tulpa that keeps the incorporealnuance blog, mentioned something vague about possessing his host a few times to do his job. (I'd have to read through it all to find the specific posts and I don't feel like it right now.) I'm not sure if I'd ever let either of my tulpae do my job for me, even for five minutes. Guest July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 I'd be interdasted to let my tuppers try doing regular-day stuff if I knew they could control my body well. Maybe in a couple of months.
glitchthe3rd July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Elise drove for me once already, though it was mostly just in a straight line and I was about to faint from heat exhaustion. Chupi July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Haven't done much at all on possession yet since we're still working on getting her fully fluent. But once we get it working, I think I'd trust her to do just about anything. As for ability to do stuff safely, she has good judgment and so far seems to be at least as cautious as myself. I don't think she'd attempt something she's not confident she can do safely, and she would have a better idea of that than me. Fourfiction: He said about to faint. Nevermore July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Well there is a lot of forcing for Arya and I to do before I think it is time to talk about possession, but I would trust her with it when the time is right. Name: Arya Form: Anthro Avian Time Spent: 8-10 hours forcing, stopped counting narration time Stage: Wrapping up personality/Visualization good/She is speaking well

Also I'd imagine that a tulpa can't do much of anything with you if you're unconscious or comatose, since you yourself don't remember anything, and neuroscience says the brain more or less shuts down when comatose.
