RBDash June 14, 2012 Share June 14, 2012 Hey everyone, I'm RBDash! I started tulpaforcing sessions on June 11th, and have done around 3.5 hours since then, most of which has been personality but I have done 2 short narration sessions. My tulpa is going to look like a human with a few anime-ish features named Suzy, unless my Tulpa names herself. Nothing to interesting to report, as it hasn't been very long. However, yesterday, when I was doing an untimed session before going to sleep, I felt pressure at the top of my head. I was definitely not thinking about that, it just came. Not sure if it came from my tulpa, but I think it did. Very excited about that. My meditation method is pretty simple, I sit down cross-legged and make sure I'm in something comfy with a backrest (such as a bed against the wall or a couch) and my head is upright, to prevent dozing off. I then clear my mind for a minute or so, then make a body for myself and fly down into my wonderland. My wonderland is a minecraft-like land around 500 blocks/meters from side to side. It's a plains biome with giant bedrock walls on each side. My tulpa, since I haven't started on visualization yet, is just a stainless steel ball. To add my personality traits, I create pieces of parchment that I write down in about the trait, everything I could possibly think about it, some visuals if necessary, and memories that I have of that trait (memories seem like the most powerful way to add the traits, personally). My traits and sub-traits are Smart (Curious, Stubborn), Creative, Self confident, and Friendly (Empathetic, Optimistic, Outgoing). I'm letting other traits develop on its own. June 11: 40 minutes on personality. June 12: 1-1.5 hours on personality. Dozed off in the middle of one of my sessions. June 13: Personality & a narration session. I clocked in 70 minutes, but the session that I felt the pressure wasn't timed. June 14: So far spent 20 minutes. Finished up the trait I was working on yesterday, and spent the rest of the time narrating. Name: Suzy Form: Like my avatar, but realistic. Time: 58 hours. RBDash June 15, 2012 Author Share June 15, 2012 Since starting the thread I've put in another 2 hours. I'm hoping to put in enough time tonight and tomorrow so that I feel that I can move on to visualization on Sunday. However, it's really hard to do so because I have too many people in my house and I don't want my family to know until I have a sapient tulpa (that can hopefully do possession) so that they won't try and stop me. Also, I started using Feddes tulpatones (without background noise). I think that it really helped, my mind did not wander one bit, unlike all the other times. However, since due to my limitations I won't be able to force at my computer all the time and I don't have a smartphone/iPod, I won't be able to always use them. And finally, in terms of progress I have a very slight headache. However, I'm pretty sure it's wishful thinking. Fingers crossed though. Name: Suzy Form: Like my avatar, but realistic. RBDash June 17, 2012 Author Share June 17, 2012 Another 2 hours worth of forcing (I need more space), the first 1.25 hours personality, and now I've moved onto visualization (45 minutes). It's been good, I can already imagine her entire body in my mind at any time. My biggest problem is remembering that her hair goes down her back. I when going bottom-top I reach her head, remember that her hair is long, and facepalm my wonderland self. However, I don't think the touch/smell part will go so well. An a question, how much am I supposed to move my tulpa during the body movement part? I don't want to move her so much I end up with a servitor. I'm still several weeks away (probably) from that stage, but I want to know. Name: Suzy Form: Like my avatar, but realistic. Time: 58 hours. RBDash June 19, 2012 Author Share June 19, 2012 Another 2 hours and 40 minutes in (10.4 in total) on a mix of personality and visualization. I'm feeling her pressure whenever I have a session or have been narrating for a bit. Feel good with my progress. Also, found an anime avatar character creator so I could better visualize her face. I've put that as my avatar for anyone wondering how she looks like. Name: Suzy Form: Like my avatar, but realistic. Time: 58 hours.
Raetin June 19, 2012 Share June 19, 2012 Are you still planning on letting the tulpa take over your body? I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently. Progress Report
RBDash June 19, 2012 Author Share June 19, 2012 Are you still planning on letting the tulpa take over your body? If you mean trying out possession, then yes, I plan on doing a lot of tulpa experiments... for science! If you mean permanent possession, no. That was just a hypothetical scenario, I said so in the first sentence of the second paragraph of that topic. And I like my life.Progress report: 4.7 more hours in (12.4 total) and a LOT of narration. I can feel her pressure a lot more often. And, I think I might be getting my first responses :D I've been asking her several questions, and sometimes I get a fuzzy feeling wave over my head. They're not constant (and in some questions just false, like if I ask if she's a rabbit), unless I ask her if she likes The Legend of Korra, in which case it comes every time. Keeping my hopes up.At 22.5 hours now, and although there hasn't been any notable difference in sapience, she has deviated twice (first was for black hair, and today she got yellow eyes. I prefer her original form with brown eyes and hair, but if that's what she wants I'm not going to reverse it). Name: Suzy Form: Like my avatar, but realistic. Time: 58 hours. RBDash July 6, 2012 Author Share July 6, 2012 Probably noone reads this, which is why I haven't updated. However, I'll post this in case anyone is interested in what I'll be using for my method. Right now I'm 28.5 hours in, still no movement. However, I've decided to start working on imposition as well. Here are my reasons why: I haven't heard of anyone imposing before sapience so there's that, I won't have to worry about imposition during the school season in case she's fully sapient pretty late, if she doesn't achieve full sapience before she's visible it'll make narration a lot easier, since I'll be able to talk out loud and feel like I'm talking to Suzy and I won't forget her easily, since she'll be right there, and lastly I'll be able to do more dedicated sessions since I won't have to close my eyes and sit down. Charles July 6, 2012 Share July 6, 2012 I always figured that movement was pretty much a prerequisite for imposition without parroting, though I suppose you can just turn it on and off so to speak. Definitely curious to see how your approach works out.
RBDash July 6, 2012 Author Share July 6, 2012 I'll let her be a lifeless doll that moves around as a ghost, I won't go down the appears-sapient-but-it's-really-you road that Fede is doing. Also, decided to steal Glitch's HUD servitor idea for after I'm finished with Suzy. It'll have notes, a clock, and a minimap built from my memories, and if possible there'll also be a flashlight for when it's dark and a mind-button to make my entire body hot or cold. I initially thought of an imposed fan, but then I realized I could merge it with the HUD servitor. If I do it right I'll also be able to take it off my FOV and put it on a wall, for when I don't want my vision cluttered. Image is just a 5 minute pixelmator job. Looks a lot better in my head. Guest Anonymous July 6, 2012 Share July 6, 2012 Does she have a comb? For her hair, of course.
