Leaving the site. Sry to all the cool peeps in IRC but likely won't be returning for a long time if ever. Was fun for a while but feel like we wore out our welcome and don't care to go into that any further. Also leaving for irl reasons.

Thanks for all the good advice and help given during our stay here. We don't plan to give up on tulpamancy, just feel like it's for the best to take to the dreamlands and follow our own path for a while.

Peace out tulpa.info irc and forum.

Good luck with the process, and welcome to the community. I saw you talked in #tuppers, feel free to come by to ask any questions you might have. There's a lot of things to talk about when it comes to personality traits. You can talk about how you would like to see them manifested in your tulpa, or what you think it means to be say, courageous or gentle. You can act out examples for her, tell her stories of things happening that made you feel like you exhibited one of those traits yourself, et cetera. It's good subject matter for narration.

Catgirls are cute.

Feel free to ask me anything.

I am new to the whole tulpa scene but am familiar with creating/manipulating thoughtforms/constructs. Though in the psionics community I hail from, bestowing sentience on thoughtforms is generally considered tabboo so I have never attempted something like this before.

best luck with it. I too before I started to get into all this was familiar and experienced with creating/manipulating thoughtforms (along with various forms of energywork). I think that really is what caused my tulpa to develop extremely fast.

With both my tulpas they started talking themselves before I could even give them a voice or work on voice (so they choose their own voices). Interestingly they also started talking before I got to doing narration. This has shown me as long as one believes they are capable of these things, they can do them as long as the tulpa (thoughtform) has had enough focus go into it and is energised enough.

All the succubus chat sort of put me off of the tuppers channel

That's one thing which does concern me some as I have experienced incubuses in the past, so I try to keep my tulpa very balanced (much like a normal person would be when it comes to things). (I still worry if a incubus could use my tulpa thoughtform but if that was to occur I'm sure I'd know). I don't think these things come without risks.

Sh4dowt3ch: I'm glad to see you putting in so much energy. Make sure to remember that it doesn't have to be draining for you personally, and that there are very low-effort things you can do with your tulpa, like narrating stories to her or even just watching a movie together. As long as you keep her in mind, it's all good. Don't overwork yourself. I hope you find a solution for your insomnia.

That kind of thing only happens to people who are willing to let it happen. You have full control over your mind and what you create, and if you give away your sovereignty in your mind, I don't really know what else to tell you. It's only an issue because you're worried about it. There are no risks but the ones you make up.

Regarding the succubus chat in #tuppers, it's a meme to make fun of tulpas. It's nothing serious, and tulpas aren't dangerous to make.

You have full control over your mind and what you create,

I lost control over a past tulpa, I wont go into that here but just say the completely unexpected happened. People do not have full control over there subconsciousness, they can have some but not full control (people don't even tend to know much of what lies there). The subconsciousness is a HUGE part of ones mind, the waking consciousness is just a small part.

Ever done lucid dreaming? If you have you should know that you aren't in full control of your mind as one cannot control everything in a lucid dream.

Those of us who do astral projection or have OBEs know there is also an astral plane. Thoughtforms and Tulpas appear there and actually be experienced by others. Tulpas are more then just a standard thoughtform. None of us can control what is in the astral plane, there are lots of things there.

There are very good reasons why many occultic schools don't take tulpas lightly. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much knowledge into these areas on this forum. People play with this stuff unaware of the dangers. Fortunately most wont run into trouble but that cant be said for all.

You can choose to monger fear like this, or you can choose to control your mind in such a way that your tulpa becomes a normal person while disregarding people who talk about rogue tulpas and succubi. Sure, your mind is capable of conjuring up amazing things, but you can choose to submit to those things or to stand above them, with a final say as to who rules your mind.
