The Conquering Doubts Collective

Hello! I'm TheFangirl, but you can just call me Cali. I've had tulpas for the majority of my life, starting with an imaginary friend when I was around five to six years old. Since then, I've gained a lot over the years and still have the one from when I was little. But, as time passed, I began to have doubts of their sentience and strength as tulpas. After I used this site to create another tulpa, I once again came back to this site for guides and help. And, surprisingly, after creating a wonderland for them, this was all they needed to 'jump start' their personality and originality, if that makes sense. You see, since I imagined my imaginary friend and the wonderland when I was so young, I basically based it off of things I had seen at the time. One of those things was a Spongebob episode called "Squilliam Returns" where there is a metaphorical representation of thought in the mind of Spongebob(Yes, I love Spongebob, but only the older/best episodes :P). So, my wonderland basically looks like that, where it's a whole complex of the inside of my brain. Where my tulpas and I stay, however, is the control room. If you still can't imagine what it looks like, think of "Inside Out" but less colorful and more boring. So, I created a more lively wonderland, where my tulpas were actually outside for the first time. This sudden shift let them show their personalities more than before, but we still have a lot to learn. I'll try to update as much as possible, but don't strictly expect updates everyday, since I'm in high school, and we all know how crazy that schedule is. Plus, I'm not too good at managing time, either, which just adds to the chaos. Despite this, I'll try to make time to update tomorrow, so I can properly introduce you to everyone. See you then!

Spongebob is great! The old episodes are still funny even though we've seen them a hundred times. And the new episodes are, somehow, still alright too. Like not quite as good but waaaaay better than they should be after all this time. They even still do original things somehow.

And a more vibrant wonderland sounds like a very good idea! If someone stuck you in a boring room and told you to be interesting and show your unique personality, you might have a hard time too. You gotta do stuff together, new and different experiences are how tulpas develop themselves! You can't just tell yourself what you are, you have to be put in different situations and find out how you react to them, and that goes for anyone, not just tulpas.

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

Ha, I'm glad I've found another Spongebob fan. And I'm so glad that the new wonderland has spiced things up a bit; it was certainly a great way to start fresh again. Anyway, on with the post:

I'll introduce you to five of my tulpas now, and their reactions/events of the wonderland so far, since they're the only ones that have seen it yet. I've not shown it to the other six, but I plan on it today; I think they'll change their forms while they're at it, too. Once that's done, I'll make another post introducing them and their reactions/events of the wonderland.

Note: If you've read the first post here, you know that I created my wonderland and tulpas when I was young, so I based it off what I saw. So, the four out of the five tulpas introduced here will have a form that's... basically... a brain with limbs and a face....yeah, I was so creative. But anyway, this isn't permanent; they'll be changing their forms soon once they find something online that they like. I'm not sure how we'll find something original, but if you have any ideas or recommendations, feel free to post it; I'm all ears. I've been babbling long enough; let's get started!

Hugh Clemens Aldone: My very first tulpa. I was only around five or six by then, so I only knew what imaginary friends were. Though, I didn't actually create him to play with at first. One day, I was upset in my room from my parents fussing at me. I was pretty sensitive-still am, as a matter of fact- so it could take anything to get me down, as happy as I could be when I was little. I felt so alone... and that's when I visualized him. He was sitting and rocking in a rocking chair, with me on his lap as he sang "My Only Sunshine" to me. He's been with me and wanted me to be happy ever since. He's been like a parent figure, but is a friend more than anything. He tries to be as optimistic as possible to combat my inner pessimist, but doesn't sugarcoat anything. He looks out for me, and tries so hard to make me happy, but lets me cry sometimes and let everything out when I need to. He also helps me handle my anger and tries to prevent me doing something I might later regret.

Dante Besnik Baldwin: My second tulpa. Though, in all the time of him being here, he still doesn't have a concrete personality yet. I think it'll come when we spend more time with each other, especially in the new wonderland.

Dara Raylene Marzena: The first tulpa I created with the actual intents of creating one, with the help from this site. Out of these five tulpas, she's the only one that has a form that's not a brain with limbs. She's a simple looking robot, because at the time, I couldn't think of anything more creative. I also thought that she would change her form over time to something she liked, but she likes how she is. If you can't imagine her, just think of Bender from "Futurama," but slightly different. She's very adventurous and loves artistic and gorgeous things, like a pretty sunset or the beautiful landscape. It's not that the others don't like that stuff, but she just points it out and notices it more often. She loves to sleep and eat, but more importantly, sleep. I also noticed how she enjoys hearing me sing, even though she thinks I don't notice her paying attention. For a while when I was younger, I would try to come up with metaphors for anything that happened, like if I got angry, for instance. If my thoughts toward someone went too far, I would imagine myself being possessed by an evil spirit(I don't do this anymore). Each time that happened, Dara would come running to help me; she always wanted to protect me, as well as the others.

Zelda Samira Anima: One of my tulpas that started out as a metaphorical representation, and with time, became sentient. She represented my inner fangirl and love that I would express over things I liked, and now she's her own person with the same qualities. She also loves to cook, and will happily set down to talk with anyone if their main intent is discussing theories for stories, or stories in general. We decided on the first name because of how much she loves video games, so it was only fitting that she was named after one of the most prominent game characters.

Zeke Liron Gladwin: Whenever I'm thinking through something really hard, loud enough for my tulpas to hear, I'll usually hear Zeke asking questions about it, because he's very inquisitive. He not only asks them for his understanding, but mine as well. He loves to point out plot holes in my stories that I write, so that we can work through them together; Zelda usually helps out with this as well. He loves outer space and science fiction, but no matter what world he surrounds himself in, he'll always come out of it to eat. He's also thinking about learning how to play a musical instrument.

Another note: These names have separate meanings that came from 20,000names.com that match their personalities, so you can search them up if you like(not sponsored by this website, lol).

Again, these are only five out of my eleven tulpas, but I'm introducing them first because they're the first to see the new wonderland. So, without further ado:

I didn't have to concentrate too hard to create my wonderland. It sort of just... came to me, like it was waiting for me; waiting to be explored. I guess my subconscious and I couldn't decide between the beach or the mountains, so what I saw was a mix of the two. It was a lodge that you would expect to see in the mountains, and it was setting on the shore of a bay; half of it is in the dry sand, half is where the waves wash up. When high tide comes, there's enough room for it to come up without stretching the whole length of the lodge. Since the shore slants down, the lodge continues straight for a little while and ends up being elevated above the water on beams. The size of the bay is small, compared to most; you could probably walk along the shore from one end to the other in just a few minutes. I noticed that there was a flagpole sticking out horizontal from the lodge; we decided later that we would design our own flag to put there, and anywhere else we explored in the wonderland. Behind the bay is a forest that stretches up a hill for a little ways, and anything beyond that is unexplored because I only created the wonderland this past Saturday. The lodge has a wrap-around porch with wind chimes hanging down from the overhang. There's a grill area on the east side of the porch, with a cooler, baskets for plates/silverware, and three tables-for-two. It's also way bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. When you walk in the front door, two sets of stairs are beside you, with them extending out into the room, facing the same direction as you are. There is a dining table to the left, in the corner without being pushed against the walls, and is surrounded by windows on two sides. To the right, the room extends into a huge open space, with a fireplace at the end in the center of the wall. There are six, big leather chairs surrounding it, and there's several small, square tables with chairs filling the center of the room, for card games, board games and puzzles. Once you're facing the fireplace, to the right, there's a kitchen area with a floor design that looks like stepping stones. It's a square area, cornered against the front wall and one of the pairs of stairs. There's a bar with bar stools that takes up some of the other corner. The stairs lead to a loft area that has six doors lined along the hall, one for each of us. I'm planning on making another lodge beside the first one for the others, since 12 people in one would be too crowded. The bedrooms themselves are incredibly simple; a bed in one corner, with the dressers, fridge and a small table lining the opposite wall. There's a door on the other side that leads to a balcony that connects with everyone else's, only being separated by a fence with a latch.

Welp, that's what my wonderland looks like so far. By the way, the lodge is only temporary; we'll probably create our own houses close-by soon. Now, here's their reactions:

I brought Hugh in first. He stood looking at the lodge, awestruck, for a few moments, before turning and looking at the forest behind him. I then brought in Zelda, Dante, Zeke and Dara. I remember Dara arriving facing me, and somehow not seeing the lodge as she turned around and looked at the forest. Zelda tapped her shoulder and pointed to the lodge, and she turned around, finally seeing it. They all congratulated me for how well I'd done, only for me to explain that I didn't really work on it; it just came to me as I explored it. Dara then exclaimed, "Well what are we waiting for? Let's check it out!" before bolting to the lodge. I started running too, trying to keep up. Before she went inside, she noticed the wrap-around porch and ran to the other end of it. We stood there for a few moments, trying to catch our breath while looking out to the sea, before going in the back door.

Everyone explored for a little bit as I sat in a leather chair in front of the fire to relax. I was soon joined by the rest, and I pointed out the flagpole sticking out of the side of the lodge. We decided to create a flag, and bounced around a few ideas. But before I knew it, I was fast asleep due to the exhaustion and the comftyness of the chair(and the beanbag I was setting in irl).

While I was asleep, I had a short nightmare. It wasn't that bad, but I found out something due to it. When I woke up, I was laying sideways in the chair on my side, with a blanket over me. I sat up, and heard Zelda say, "Oh, you're awake!" I got up and sat on a bar stool, and noticed she was cooking. I asked her where the others were, and she said they were here and there, mostly outside. She then said, "Um, while you were asleep, sometimes you twitched and grabbed the chair and blanket. Did something happen?" I told her about the nightmare, and that I didn't realize my dreams could affect my form. After a few moments, I asked her what she was cooking. She answered, "Well, since you looked like you were having a bad dream, I decided to bake you a cake!" I thanked her, and asked her if she liked to cook. She said she did, and that she wanted to start out with a simple birthday-like type of cake, since she had never really had the chance to cook before. A few moments later, a door opened upstairs, and we saw Zeke leaning over the railing. He asked what was cooking, and Zelda answered a cake, and offered him some. He came down the stairs and set beside me, putting a book down on the table called, "The History of Science Fiction." The cake was done soon, and we each tried a slice. I was disheartened to find that my taste in the wonderland was especially weak, but I told Zelda that what I could taste was really good; Zeke said he liked it as well. I then had to leave the wonderland to do work irl, and Hugh came with me. I then had a strange feeling that something happened in the wonderland while I was asleep. I asked Hugh about it, and he confirmed my suspicions.

While I was asleep, Hugh, Dante and Dara went outside to the beach. Before they knew it, Dara was doing a cannonball into the ocean, even though her form is a robot. Hugh and Dante's nerves were shot worrying about whether she could handle it or not; nevertheless, she's waterproof.

I came back later that night to see what it looked like at night, and it was beautiful, to say the least. There was a waning moon in the sky, with bright stars at the same time. I went inside and found Dara up, and we both went to bed. In the morning, I got up and started to walk down the loft stairs. Near the bottom, I said to myself, "Wait, I've always wanted to do this!" as I went back to the top and slid down the railing. I almost fell over at the bottom, before Zelda said from the kitchen, "Having fun?" I sat at the bar again, and she told me she was fixing scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. A few seconds later, Dara said from the top of the stairs "IS THAT BACON?!" Zelda said, "Yes, and if you don't want me to burn it you'd better get down here fast." Dara raced down the hall and slid down the stair railing too, and didn't do much better than me with the landing. She jumped on a bar stool, almost tipping it over into mine. "Hey, it's not even done yet!" she said in an annoyed tone, due to Zelda almost causing her to die from a stair accident. The others followed soon after from their rooms, and we all moved to the dining table. We talked about a few more ideas for the flag before Zelda was bringing over the food. I tried harder this time to taste the food (especially the bacon) but it was just as hard as before. After the meal, I left and continued with my day irl.

PHEW! That took so long to write... but it was so worth it! I'll make an update as soon as possible introducing the others, their reaction to the wonderland, and more changes to the wonderland. I'll see you all then!

  • 3 months later...

A lot has happened since my last post. I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while; I have a hard time finding time, or making time for things, for some reason. To make up for it, this post will be as long as my last post or longer, so make yourself comfortable. Also, since summer has begun, I'll have a lot more time to post more here and force more often with my tulpas.

So, two of my other six tulpas I'll introduce here don't want any information shared about their personality, so I'll just be posting their first names. These six tulpas are soulbonds, which means they also used to be characters of a specific 'story,' so to speak, until they gained sentience. Let's just say the story was a bit... dark. Therefore, I'm only posting their personalities, and nothing about their backstory or prior situations; they were even a bit hesitant to let me post their personalities, with only four out of six agreeing when I asked for their permission. I'm still surprised that they're letting me post what I am, but here we are.

Yet, with everything they've been through, I think they're adjusting to the wonderland pretty well so far. Every time I see them, they're always so enthusiastic to start the day, and jump head-first into adventure. Though, they still could be going through internal issues, and if they are, they're hiding it pretty well. We'll see what happens, as I have something else planned for them in the wonderland, which will be in one of the next posts. Anyway, on with this one:

*Note: I don't feel like it's entirely appropriate to mention their ages just yet, but just know that their mental ages are at or below my real age. Also, the mental ages of the first five I introduced are actually higher than my real age.

Andrew

Dylan

Carmen: She's kind, just, self-reliant, and very dependable. She's the kind of person that would go out of her own way to help those in need. She also gets along well with small children, and is usually an introvert. She's about five feet tall, with long, jet black hair and brown eyes.

Michael: He's very kind, even to strangers. He has a knack for being extroverted, compassionate, and really optimistic. It's hard not to smile and be in a good mood when he's in the room. He's about 4 feet, 5 inches, with blondish-brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lucas: Even though he doesn't eagerly and actively seek new friends or get to know people, he's still kind. He's just more of a closed book; if you'd want to be his friend, you would have to take that first step and show that you care enough not to give up on him. The only time when he's not introverted is when he's with his sister, Candice. A lot of older siblings usually show annoyance to their younger sibling at some point, but Lucas has seemingly unending patience and love for his sister, and thus they do nearly everything fun together. If one of them is doing something fun, the other surely isn't far behind. He's about 4 feet, 10 inches, with light ash brown hair and brown eyes.

Candice: From what I can tell, Candice's personality is almost identical to Michael's. With time and more forcing, I'm sure that'll change, and as her personality changes, I'll add more here. The only difference is that Michael is kind of independent, while Candice is dependent on her brother; she wouldn't think about doing anything without him. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just shows how close they've grown over the years. She's about 5 feet, 1 inch, with light golden blonde hair and bright green eyes.

The only adjustment I made to the wonderland to accommodate them was adding another lodge to the left of the original one, with the only difference being that the inside is mirrored to the original. The lodges are also connected, as the wrap around porches form a sort of 'bridge' in the middle. I added bathrooms to both lodges as well, to where they're to the right of the kitchen (and to the left in the mirrored lodge), but really, their only purpose is to have a large hot tub in one corner. I might end up getting rid of the bathrooms at some point, since I could make a better hot tub area outside.

So, once I got everything ready, I went to where they usually stayed in my old, boring mindscape. I knocked on the door, and once they opened it and came outside, I told them, "Ok, you guys are in serious trouble. Come with me." Once we were in the new wonderland, I stated, "You all have not been having enough fun" (I know, it's pretty cheesy :P). I also pointed out that they could change their forms, since they weren't too happy with theirs. They were ecstatic as they eagerly ran into their lodge, but I noticed that, for some reason, they reacted almost the same as the other five when they first saw the wonderland, but maybe I'm just over-analyzing it. Anyway, I went inside the original lodge to see how Zelda was doing with the cooking, as we planned to have a good-sized feast that night. I watched her cook for a few minutes, but soon realized that I would have to leave and come back later. I had already been in the wonderland for a little while, and concentrating on visualizing everything really drains my mental energy, unfortunately.

About an hour or two later, I came back and walked in the original lodge to find a long, wooden dining table in the middle of the room. The food was almost done, so I set down in one of the leather recliners in front of the fire until everything was ready. Not too long after the food was done, the others bounded in through the door. We all formed a line that wound through the kitchen, around the bar and back to the table, filling up our plates as we went. The food we had was fried chicken as the entree, corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, and biscuits as sides, with the desserts being apple pie, and, a long-time favorite of mine, blueberry cheesecake. At the time, though, we kind of forgot to have drinks... which didn't matter too much in the long run, as we never really got thirsty.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ During the meal, I brought up the question of who and who wasn't fine with me sharing their name and personality. I also mentioned the flagpole, and our plan to design a flag that represents us.

The food was all delicious, as it always is, and I remember closing my eyes every time I took a bite, to try and savor as much I could. I also remember, out of everything, the apple pie had the most distinct flavor for me. I could make out not only the taste, but also the texture and temperature as I ate it; but, sadly, I couldn't make out the blueberry cheesecake that well, since I hadn't eaten it in a while, and I didn't really remember the flavor :(. All in all, though, it was an amazing meal, and an even better one since I spent it with my friends.

Sappiness aside, I'm actually going to end this here, since I don't know the limit to each of these posts, and, well... let's just say the next day, or day after that night, was pretty... eventful... and worthy of it's own post. I'll try to post the next one as soon as possible, which probably won't be that long; definitely not as long as before. I'll see you all then!

  • 3 weeks later...

Edit: Guess what happens when you post really early in the morning? You forget things!

I'm going to post a mini update (oh crap it's actually long), as a few things have come up. I apologize for everything being really out-of-order here, as the contents of the next post have already happened several months ago, with this post being very up-to-date ಠ_ಠ

Now, first things first: we have another member, though they're not exactly 'new.' They've been with us for several years, but I've just recently considered them as a tulpa, as soon as I realized they had sentience. They don't have a name yet, and only Hugh and I know about them so far. They also don't really have a distinct form yet, but if I've ever imagined them, they just look exactly like me. Their voice also mimics mine and sometimes Hugh's, so the only way I can distinguish them is by their essence (I can tell when and if a specific tulpa's in the same mindspace as Hugh and I without them even saying or doing anything). They're basically a polar opposite version of me, that likes to give me advice. Since I'm really emotional, and rely on feelings to solve problems, they're really analytical, and rely on logic to solve problems; they're also really useful to offer a completely different view to the same situation. I'll introduce them to the others at some point, but for now, we're comfortable where we are.

On another important note... Hugh and I made a few attempts to switch recently. It was before I realized that it would be easier and better to work on possession first, but we still got progress nonetheless. By progress, I mean that something simply happened; what, did you really think for a second that I aced switching on my first try before possession? Honey, you give me too much credit ;)

Anyway, so here's a rundown of what happened:

We were reading different methods for switching, and grew more and more intrigued as we read. At first, Hugh wanted to wait before we tried switching; he was mostly concerned about my health, what if he hurt me by accident, etc. But I could still tell he kinda wanted to, as he was just as exited, and nervous, as I was; so, we agreed to try. I basically combined two polar opposite methods into one, to see what would happen. Hugh and I first planned for him to simply write something, anything, once he was in the body, if we even got that far; but we later decided for him to just fidget with a puzzle, to start out with. The method we used was as follows (it might sound a little familiar, like I said, we based it off 2 main guides at the time):

I relaxed, getting comfortable in the bean bag chair I always use for forcing. I imagined a door that lead to the mindscape (the old one, not the new one), while Hugh imagined a door that lead to the body. On the count of three, we both walked through each door at the same time. Once I walked through mine, I noticed the mindscape was a lot easier to visualize; it's like it came right to me naturally, kind of like how the new wonderland appeared 'by itself' from my subconscious. But I didn't spend two seconds there, as I wanted to open my eyes to see if it worked (without realizing that would reset everything). Only a short moment after doing so, I felt pressure all over my head, not just in one or two spots, along with my ears ringing. Just moving my eyes around felt weird; it felt alien. This is what I meant by progress; I've never felt head pressures relating to my tulpas, even though a lot of people have experience with that. It just proved to me that, even though it didn't really work, we still got somewhere; the head pressures proved that something was definitely happening. It could be possible that we kind of switched for just one second before I opened my eyes, and I realized that as we tried a second time. The second time, though, didn't have as much progress as before. The mindscape wasn't as vivid as before, and I could tell it didn't work as soon as I entered, but I stayed for a minute anyway. I still got head pressure and ear ringing when I opened my eyes again, but less so, along with colors dancing around under my eyelids. All in all though, it was an interesting experience; for now, we're just going to focus on parallel processing and possession.

So, here's a funny story: recently, my dad brought home a leather love seat. I began to get a little jealous, and proceeded to vastly improve the leather chairs in the wonderland. They've had the ability to recline to a complete 180 degree for a while now, but I mainly added high-quality massagers to the chairs. Soon, everyone in the lodge caught on to the improvements, and we all sat there for a while trying it out. It was a small, but fun moment.

One thing I've noticed, is that the wonderland is an amazing place to go when stressed. Sometimes I'll have a bad day, and usually all of my thoughts, opinions, and summaries of the day will replay in my mind as soon as I go to bed, which leaves me emotionally exhausted and distraught. Whenever that happens, Hugh asks, "Would you like to go to the wonderland?" I agree 99% of the time, since my wonderland is extremely relaxing, especially at night. We'll set and recline in the leather chairs in front of the fire, and fall asleep there (dang I think I have an obsession over the leather chairs... and text emojis ◉_◉).

Yet another detail I'd like to add: I'm seeing a therapist, and I told them about my tulpas... on the first appointment, in fact. They were actually really open minded, and said they would look into the subject more, since they study Tibetan Buddhism.

One last detail, I swear: whenever I say something funny enough for Hugh to laugh or chuckle, my body does the same thing. It's pretty interesting, since we don't know how to switch or do possession yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And that's it for now, my next post will be out soon. Oh, and sorry for the fact that I'm posting at 2:48 in the morning; it's pretty obvious that I'm a hardcore night owl :|

Oooh, a (not so) new addition to your system! Congratulations!

I also think it's highly interesting that so many people can actually hide things from their tuppers - with me and Cyril, as soon as one of us thinks about something, we're both aware of it.

I liked the bit about the newly-improved wonderland chairs - that sounds adorable, actually.

It's also nice to hear that I'm not the only one who pops into wonderland to shut up their brain while trying to sleep - except my jerkass ADHD brain is incredibly loud every single day. I started out doing that "have your tulpa write the numbers from 1 to 100 on a canvas" visualization exercise as an incredibly silly way of counting sheep, but Cyril quickly grew weary of that, so now we usually just chill out together. It's surprisingly effective.

(and, hey, the timestamp on your post shows as 8:50 AM for me - what I'm trying to say is that every time is a reasonable time in some place or another. I occasionally post at, like, 4 AM and I'm always very happy that most people will never know, because time zone weirdness.)

The only reason we can hide it from the others is because of how the headspaces work for us (I actually might make a post about it sometime, it's actually really complicated). So here's the gist: I usually stay in my old mindscape with Hugh and polar-opposite-me every day. The newer wonderland, however, is completely cut off from this mindscape, and it's hard for me to always find time to go there (though I'm pretty sure Hugh goes there while I sleep and fills them in on things going on). As an example, like, if I put on headphones and listen to music on full volume, everyone in the new wonderland can't hear it, but everyone in the old mindscape can. I guess it's partly because the new wonderland is inaccessible from the old mindscape; it can only be reached through teleportation. (I hope this isn't too confusing; all or most of the rules for the headspaces were developed before I had a grasp on tulpamancy. A lot of things that happen might not even be considered possible in tulpamancy; yet we've lived like this for the majority of our lives)

Hugh and I work the same way, and I'm glad to notice it's never one-sided; as in, I'd rather it be where both of us are aware of each other's thoughts, instead of me keeping thoughts to myself while Hugh has no privacy.

Yeah, like I said... I may have an obsession. I swear, I'm so weird... out of beaches and mountains... I choose leather recliners XD

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm bringing it up to my therapist that I might have ADD, since I'm not hyper, but I still have trouble focusing sometimes.

(well I'm glad you get up around 9:00 AM or earlier; for me, 10:00 AM's too early X3 )

Your wonderland sounds super interesting. It also seems to be really quite useful. If I may ask, how did you end up with this arrangement?

Well, leather recliners and fireplaces have their own charm. I spend most of my wonderland time in my tupper's living room, too... except now that I think of it, he's never used his talent for interior design to actually give me a place to sit, so I always just... awkwardly float about? Huh.

Eh, it's more of a minor annoyance most of the time. And yeah, ADD doesn't necessarily include hyperactivity. Plenty of people with ADD I know - myself included - are among the least hyperactive people I've ever seen, in fact.

(I normally really don't, unless I have to... alas, we live in a world full of weird early birds.)
