ponytheus July 11, 2012 Share July 11, 2012 in reading thru marvel's 'the wonderful wizard of oz', i have come to identify him as a sort of antitulpa, a bit like a corporeal servitor. just have a look at these excerpts: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=afdirb&s=6 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2dirddg&s=6 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=vvn0h&s=6 what do you think? his name is vapes. Guest July 11, 2012 Share July 11, 2012 Says the guest who doesn't have access to the Off-topic board. I'm of course implying that this thread belongs in said board.

Avalanche July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 It's just a comparison. The scarecrow was made for a purpose, and in this case he wasn't made very well. Tulpae are in fact made for a purpose, but that purpose is move diverse and prone to change, like our own purpose. This doesn't need to be in the off topic board, it is very much on topic. But it does not require a thread itself. The scarecrow is just like what a poorly made tulpa would be. Unfit for purpose and (with enough sentience) doubtful of it's existence. Interesting thought, but not really a full topic right now is it? frt
Din July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Might want to post this in the "What kind of tulpa are you making?" megathread next time. On-topic: Not really sure how much difficulty you'll have getting your tulpa animate, considering scarecrows aren't (normally) sentient.
