Tulpa vision experiment

This is only applicable to imposed tulpa.

First, make your tulpa stay in a room, looking at a specific place. Then, leave the room and get something that you don't know to happen in the room (such as someone putting an unknown object where the tulpa is looking). After the action is done, enter the room. Record what the tulpa saw when you were in the room before, and then after.

What I'm mostly interested is if the item will appear suddenly, or if something else happens.

Well, I can pretty much tell you what happens. Your tulpa is either going to subconsciously guess what the object was and where it was placed, or it'll just tell you it has no idea at all. Since they run off your sensory input, if you have no way of knowing what this object is and where it was placed, neither will they.

Like Nemo said, they rely on our senses for what they perceive. If we leave a room but they stay, and someone else comes in and leaves a donut on the coffee table, they won't see the donut until we come back in and see the donut. Unless of course we already knew the donut would be put there, but even then the tulpa would only be able to guess at the look and positioning of the donut.

If the creator knew there would be a donut there, but not the color or flavor of the donut, the tulpa would probably get the sight but would have no way of knowing about what the donut actually looked like.

Now I kind of want to know what they would see in that situation, if you knew something to be there, but not its exact look. I suppose they would see whatever you assume to be there.

I think the question is more of What will it look like once your perceptions catch up with reality, but from the tulpa's point of view

This intrigues me, I'll have to try it once my tulpa gets stronger

Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.
