Tulpa Week Threads

Recommended Posts

The last Tulpa Week extended into eternity, which is why we haven't done another. But a lot of members here weren't actually here for either, so they might not get the spirit, right? So I'm going to post our original Tulpa Week threads here, and you should all feel free to post in them. As you'll see in our second Tulpa Week announcing thread, Tulpa Week is still technically ongoing..

Aside from the announcing threads, ours were made on Reisen's account, as that used to be the only one we used for all of us. That's why there's color and names. But we do have our own accounts now, obviously.

Tulpa Week! - The original, an idea Lumi came up with to help tulpas participate more, on the forum and in general.

Tulpa Week: ∞ - The second thread, created a third of a year later. However, we changed the name at the end of the week to ∞, implying that tulpas' participation on the forum and in their hosts' lives should be natural, not an event. Honestly, I think tulpas have been much more active on the forum ever since, possibly just a coincidence though.

Your Theme Song! - A thread for tulpas to post a song they feel describes them, or that they heavily relate to. Seems to be a common thing among us, for some reason.

Tulpadventures! - A thread for posting about wonderland adventures, or really just any fun "adventures" you've had with your host.

Wonderland Hobbies - The "third" thread, not actually made by us. Roughly the same concept - what do you like to do in the wonderland?

Questions About Your Host - Since hosts always talk about their tulpas, in this forum-games styled thread tulpas can talk about their hosts.

Speak and Be Heard - A thread calling for tulpas to give their hosts advice or opinions on Tulpamancing. This is my favorite Tulpa Week thread.

Host Appreciation - As the title implies, this is a thread where tulpas write about appreciating their hosts, I guess. Flandre made it sound a lot better than I can.

You can also Search for threads with "Tulpa Week" in the title, if you want. There's a few weird ones we didn't make. It would feel weird to make new "Tulpa Week" threads since the goal was to get tulpas to be more active all the time, but feel free to make just normal threads that carry the same spirit, or to post in the ones I linked here.

I made this thread to give you guys some threads to read/post in since the forum's so dead right now. And I can't be the only one this bored with nothing going on, so posting would be appreciated.

If not I'll just assume we're the only ones that care if the forum gets new posts every day and should get over it.

The forum is pretty boring, but I'm not going to post in threads if I'm not interested. Goes for most people that are still here, I'd imagine.

I think the social part of the forum never really took off given the size of the community. And the business part stagnated due to competition with reddit and lack of material. But if you are worried the community is dying, no. The majority of tulpamancers just don't like this site.

It has an end. Although, it would be useful for some people to help organise it all into the new wiki in order to make it easier for newfolk to find.

Once you fall off the end, you will either leave the site, or stay for another reason.

Yeah, we've read basically every relevant thread on the site. We stick around to help people (Lumi and us in general), and because we have nowhere else to express ourselves freely (just us tulpas).

I'm not telling people to post if they don't want to, but there are definitely tons of people who could make relevant and interesting posts who don't. Was hoping to encourage some to do so.

Not worried about the community dying, it comes and goes (sometimes literally). But there are some people who prefer to see this place at least a little active every day - us, at least.
