Tulpae and Deafness

OK so I have a chronic wax buildup problem in my ears (I'm going somewhere with this, I promise), and the right one is pretty badly clogged right now. I had my tulpa talk into the ear and I can still hear her perfectly, presumably because her voice originates within my mind. So in theory, if you were to become deaf, you could still hear your tulpa and carry on conversations with them.

Don't know how deafness works, but when you go blind usually the part of your brain responcible for sight just shuts down and you supposidly have trouble even comprehending things like colors anymore. So I guess it would just be a voice, unless somehow you could still see your wonderland.

If you started out with hearing or sight, but then had that taken away by some outside force later, I suppose that you could see and hear your tulpa.

Does this mean that people with glasses wouldn't need them in a wonderland and with a fully imposed tulpa?

I wear glasses but can see decently without them, though rather blurry. I can see fine in my wonderland though -- I didn't have to imagine wearing glasses when I flew high over the wonderland to place features. My tulpa isn't imposed yet, but I bet her image will blur with distance just to match the background she's imposed on; it would look weird otherwise.

I used to have earwax problems like Glitch, and the doctor eventually give me a syringe with a bent straw on it. IIRC I used a mix of hydrogen peroxide and water, and it was quite effective at blasting out the wax. The result of the wax buildup wasn't deafness either -- it was just greatly muted, somewhat like having an earplug stuck in my ear.

The reason the vision stuff in the brain shuts down when one is blind is that it isn't being used. If you have an imposed tulpa and then go blind, the parts that process after the tulpa's image is added should continue to work.

Interesting to ponder: what would the tulpa's perceived reality be? And how accurately would that map to your brain? If you wandered around blind in a location you know from memory back when you had eyesight, would the tulpa realistically bump into stuff, etc... And what if you visited an unknown place, where the brain assumes stuff?

And if so, would it be possible to somehow tulpaforce the tulpa's vision back into your vision? Not as good as real eyesight, and would probably mess up with your adjusting to being blind, but interesting.

Spirit vision would be pretty cool, but then you'd have to get used to seeing everything in black and blue, or whatever two colors you decided to use for it.

Makes sense to still hear tulpae if one is deaf because, as was previously stated, the voice does originate from the mind.
