Hey, I just started making my tulpa and I was wondering what differences in small details people have. Answer any or all of these:

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa:

How long do you tulpaforce per day:

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing:

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing:

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa:

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.):

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say:

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality:

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing:

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing:

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep:

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing:

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else):

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate:

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality:

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa: No clue, I never was any good with time. Clair is finished btw, but I can confidently say dozens of hours.

How long do you tulpaforce per day: I still force a little bit, just to keep Clair firmly cemented within my mind. Usually 15-30 minutes per day.

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing: I did indeed take breaks.

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing: I closed them unless I had something to focus on visually.

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa: I spoke to Clair.

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.): It started off as an orb and developed into her old form.

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say: I manage to hold my focus on the tulpa when I'm speaking to it.

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality: No, because I only had to use five traits.

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing: I sit.

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing: I move my body slightly if it makes me more comfortable; otherwise I remain completely still.

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep: No.

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing: I do compulsively if there's a clock I can easily glance at. I turn clocks around or remove them if there is one.

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else): It hardly happens to me anymore.

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate: Usually slower, though it has elevated in rate a few times.

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality: That's difficult to describe, because I just do. I don't have any specific technique I follow.

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa:

I'm about 52~53 hours in.

How long do you tulpaforce per day:

1~2 hours, normally

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing:

No.

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing:

Usually open for part of the session, closed for another part of the session.

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa:

I speak to the tulpa.

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.):

I visualize my tulpa's form, either superimposed in front of me or in the wonderland.

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say:

I can focus on my tulpa when I'm speaking to it.

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality:

Personality was a long ways back (stopped 14 hours in), but I may have had a "writers block" on a few traits.

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing:

I Sit.

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing:

I'm usually still, though I move around to make myself comfortable from time to time.

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep:

Not usually.

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing:

I usually check the time once or twice, though recently I've just been using an hour-long playlist.

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else):

Yes, definitely.

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate:

Depends if I'm in a meditating or in a trance while forcing or not. When I'm in a trance-state, I tend to breath slower and with more rhythm, as opposed to just sitting and forcing, which I breath more like I am right now.

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality:

Kind of hard to explain; I just keep my tulpa's focus in my mind while I'm talking to her directly about things such as personality, similar to how you'd do it with that anti-parroting Prism.

My responses probably aren't very helpful, but I hope they're worth something xD.

EDIT: Screw you, TOG and your firstisms.

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa: No idea. Almost 60 hours maybe?

How long do you tulpaforce per day: Depends. Between about twenty minutes to almost two hours.

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing: Usually momentary ones, to "reset" things if intrusive thoughts become too annoying.

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing: Closed.

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa: I speak/think to him all the time, and have been doing so since the beginning.

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.): Well, right now, I hang out with him in the wonderland. When visualizing, I sometimes move us both to a neutral place (black void, empty subway car) to be able to concentrate better on him.

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say: Sometimes; depends on how tired I am. When I'm not well rested, I find myself at a loss for words frequently, and I have to stop concentrating to think of what to say next. When fully rested, though, I can hold a smooth conversation.

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality: Sometimes, as whenever I had been doing personality, I was making it up as I go.

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing: I sit. Lying down makes me distracted and prone to sleeping.

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing: I typically remain motionless, even when I'm alone. I used to move my arms while doing touch, but rarely do this now.

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep: Sometimes, but I avoid it, as it's risky. Besides, it can be hard to tell if your tulpa just spoke to you, or if you just dozed off and had your dream make a sound.

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing: Yeah, usually because I have things to do and don't want to force for too long. I used to try and make each session last a minimum of 30 minutes (per FAQ_Man's advice), but these days I don't really care about length of sessions. I just tulpaforce until I have to do something, or until I get tired or run out of things to do.

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else): Unfortunately, yes, if I'm not fully awake. If I notice my mind wandering twice or more during a session, I apologize to my tulpa and end the session, since it would be pretty pointless and frustrating to us both.

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate: I don't pay attention to this.

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality: Well, back when I was doing personality in a full-fledged way (nowadays I just make a brief run-down of the traits when I feel the need to reinforce the personality), I tried to at least vaguely visualize my tulpa (or rather, its soul, as it was without body) while delivering an impromptu essay on the trait. I had sometimes found myself getting so engrossed in talking that I forgot about the tulpa, though.

Do you speak out loud or in your head to your tulpa: I try to speak out loud if it's possible (supposedly it makes them speak sooner) but usually I have to limit myself to either muttering, or just telepathy.
