Making us a child and keeping him here

For a few months me and a soulbond have been wanting to make a child. We aren't in a relationship, he just wants me to make him a son 'for us'. We had it planned for a while, got everything ready for this child in headspace. A room, a name, how he should look. We kind of argue on personality. Things I make in headspace, things that are supposed to be alive like plants and smaller living critters tend to vanish or just disappear so I'm wary on making a child if something happens to him or he just goes missing due to whatever causes this to happen. Altho with someone watching him maybe that wouldn't happen. Could anyone give advice on 'making' a child and keeping him from fading out? (Sorry if I don't get any terms right or not try to use any terms at all, I come a background of soulbonding and multiplicity/plurality so I try to keep stuff general.)

If you make a child tulpa, they'll be a person and have a natural staying power greatly exceeding that of items conjured into headspace, as they can actively project and reproject their form as often as required. But tulpas, being people, make their own decisions and aren't guaranteed to turnout as designed. Some tulpas are child-identified and some host-tulpa and tulpa-tulpa relationships have been parent-child, but tulpas often rapidly grow to match the mental maturity level of the host.

If a tulpa is made and forced well, it shouldn't vanish once it gets to that point as long as it's paid attention to at times. Only visualizations which are not tulpas commonly do vanishing acts.

If you make a child tulpa be prepared that it may grow up on you.. and could do that quickly so are you prepared for two adult tulpas?. It's hard to say if it will want to remain a child or not even if you try to program that into it, it may not want that. Tulpas often have their own desires as they are not just an "imaginary friend".

A child tulpa possibly could be quite demanding of your time and attention too.. so do you have that to give if necessary? It could end up distressing to end up having something which is often crying or upset due to mommy not paying it enough attention.

I'll be curious how it turns out for you if you go ahead with this.

Wonderful answers. Gives me something to think on and plan for while we consider when to make this kid. And you are right I don't have time to focus on a child yet but his 'daddy' sure will have all the time in the world. I have stalled on a child because of time- I have over 100 people here to watch over and check on. One more person isn't a huge load, but a child is.

You already have over 100 head people? (Im blown away by that)

They are mostly soulbonds, I do have a group of critters that could be considered tulpas or some may call them in-sourced soulbonds. I made them up as a kid and they came to me in 2014 I think.
