Don't watch monkeybone.

Is Ted tagged imaginary friend?

Bridge to terabithia sucked.

Edit: Inkheart was really good.

Edih 2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_(film) I hear it is a classic.

RE: Watching all “imaginary friend” movies.

It's not really a movie, but this general idea makes me think of Out of Jimmy's Head. IIRC it was some not-great show that aired on cartoonnetwork even though it should've been on nickelodeon. It wasn't good, but it sure as heck matches having (a lot of) tulpas to a T.

"This general idea" was referring to the thread, not the link that I didn't click. I'm only a little retarded. But to be fair I've been sitting on that for a while now and not posting it because I thought there was only a show.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us stuff.

The article Vos linked says out of jimmy's head was a sequel series to what Vos linked.

Also, does Tom Riddle from The Chamber of secrets count?

RE: Watching all “imaginary friend” movies.

Somewhere, waaaay deep in the back of my mind... When I saw "Re-Animated" it triggered the memory of the terrible show I thought nobody but me remembered, Out of Jimmy's Head. But I had no idea there was a movie. Or what the show was like. Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide + main character has a ton of cartoon tulpas, that's what my brain says.

Anyways, suffice it to say I hovered over the link and said "Nope, that doesn't sound familiar" and went on to write my redundant post. I think the show came to mind at some point in this thread before but I didn't really think about it, but that title made me. But I didn't click it because I'm a bad.

... So yeah, if the movie is like I remember the show then it's absolutely as tulpa as it gets. Kid has cartoon characters randomly impose themselves around his life, deals with others not being able to see them etc.

Eh Tom Riddle is more of the kicker, not really the topic if I remember right.

Oh yeah, I just watched this one last month or so. I thought it was a great movie.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

RE: Watching all “imaginary friend” movies.

So apparently I really don't like horror movies or something. I was watching the shining, and the whole time I just kept feeling annoyed at the music screeching in my ears while a whole load of nothing happened on screen, yet this has 8.4 stars on imdb. Since pretty much all the movies on this list are horror movies, I won't be doing this.

The shining was a boring movie. Stephen King is known for long long, loooong movies. His books are famous, though.
