What is it about this place...

K: I don't know what keeps drawling me back to this place when I don't want to be anywhere near it. Me and Sam have been focused on other stuff, I don't need the guides here, I dislike my memories of here and have a not nice view of most people here. I don't know why I am back, I'm not even staying. Idk why I am even making this post.

Reminds me of another user. The mods will ban you if you want, but you'll probably want to work through this and try to understand and acknowledge what's going on. Try to be honest with yourself.

I don't visit as often as I used to. If you want me to see something, make sure to quote a post of mine or ping me @jean-luc

The biggest draw of Tulpa.info is that it's a community where tulpas can feel totally free to be themselves, or hosts can talk freely about their tulpas. There are very few places like that on the internet, and ones like tulpa Discords might not feel as easily accessible, and the tulpa subreddit doesn't feel so.. close knit/social? And uh, some people don't really like the types of threads that often show up there.

Sorry to hear you don't appreciate the time you've spent here, though. It's not like you have to stay just because your system has tulpas in it. Maybe one of the Discords (Search 'Thread Titles' for "Discord") would suit you better, assuming the reason you keep coming back is what I mentioned. If it's not that, I dunno? Also.. I don't really know what people did to make you not like them, but I feel like those people aren't here anymore. Just saying.

@Jean-luc, assuming you mean Mistgod, a huge part of him and Melian leaving was that they knew they consistently caused a lot of drama that annoyed/upset/causedsomepeopletoliterallyleave a lot of people. Despite what they said about disagreeing with us, they got along pretty well eventually. We're pretty accepting of different types of "tulpas"/thoughtforms akin to tulpas here.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

K: If I asked to be banned, I would still come back under a different name likely so would rather not.

K: My tulpas already, for the most part, feel free to be themselves already from what I know. Most, except Sam, are fine not being social with the outside world and I don't feel much need for talking about them most of the time. Discords have more problems than accessibility, like some get drama or such, and the reddit is more just info.

K: I don't know what brings me back here really. Some of the people I am not exactly fond of are still around. My problems I had with here ranges from a general spread of mis-information (despite it being a 'scientific' or whatever forum, not saying there's a lot of it), people can't agree on terminology outside their specific sites, and there is a lot of toxicity and drama if you try diving into the wider community.

K: I think on a deeper level, one thing I do dislike is this correlation I keep seeing between mostly depressed or suicidal hosts with people who make tulpas. While I wasn't exactly the most stable coming into this, just about everyone I know with a tulpa or some other thoughtform (Don't yell at me) are depressed and would rather fade away, some having almost or had tried to commit suicide, and many have so low self-esteem that they let themselves fall back while their tulpa does more of everything for them, which I was once guilty of doing and don't want to force on Sam ever again. I think the correlation just overall lowers my view of any tulpa place as a whole.

I don't see why tulpas being a sometimes-natural coping mechanism for depression and generally stressful times in your life would make you "look down" on the community.

Also, I don't see the average member as depressed here, especially not suicidal, but I guess a lot of people have different problems you can't really group together. Regardless it sure isn't a negative/pessimistic place, that's for sure.

People always talk about Tulpa.info being things I never see being the case. I can't help but feel like you guys (people with problems with Tulpa.info) take PMs, IRC and external conversations as directly related to this forum when they're definitely not. Seeing as I'm not involved in any of them and never understand where the reasons people leave are coming from.

My system was like that but we've gotten a lot better.
