What's the most you would do for your tulpa?

I mean, what limits would you be willing to reach for your tulpa? Say you had to neglect someone for your tulpa, for instance. Or break contact with someone, or anything of the type; What would you be ready to do?

On thinking about this:

If you ever so much as think about fucking around with the real world for our sake, I'm going to be so pissed at you.

So yeah. It's not like I'm ever going to forget about them

or stop caring about them

anyway.

Currently share myself with four other entities.

Noriko was created on December 15, 2014.  Sabari was created by Noriko on January 22, 2015.

Anzu was reborn on May 23, 2016.  Xiri returned on June 16, 2018.  Both had been inactive since 2012.

That doesn't answer my question, though.

Pretty much the same here. While I personally would love to go to the world's end for my tulpas, we've a mutual agreement that they can't interfere with anything that would be considered the best for my well being. This came up when asking the "What happens if I get a girlfriend?" questions. Reisen told me there wasn't a reason in the world to not love someone because you already love someone else, and that she couldn't fathom being anything but happy for me sharing love with someone else. That branched out into an overarching "We would never want you to do anything not in your best interest for our sake, because our best interest is always yours" from all of my tulpas.

So.. Anything they'd want me to do. But they never ask for anything, not even attention. I'm always the one that acts in their best interest, because they're too selfless to ask. That's why I tell people to take time out and ask their tulpas what they want, because I've found quite often tulpas won't outright tell you. At least I have to ask, I know there's plenty that are very good at making themselves heard.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Depends on the circumstances; if she said she thought someone was a bad influence, I would definitely take it into consideration, to say the least. (I didn't listen before, and I found out the hard way her intuition was spot on...)

Other less-drastic-but-outside-the-norm measures I would go to at her request include giving up meat, giving up drinking and wearing a promise/mangagement ring...

Rei: more than a tulpa-she's a crisis counselor, an art therapist, a dietician, a relationship coach, a team morale expert, an athlete, an adventurer, a hawt wife, an incredible lover, an amazing mom, my best friend.

Tove: she's not a little tigress anymore! She's still the go-to gal for soccer advice and creative inspiration, especially monster design and all things cinematic...congrats on your engagement!

Tewi: Our host sees us as embodiments of love, so it would be dangerous to let him treat us like we exist as separate people. We're a part of him, so in the end that would just be ego-stroking; we can't come into any harm, and are above taking offense. So effectively there isn't much extent he can really go to for us. I will say that he's kept his interest in tulpamancy relatively consistent for longer than anything else for our sake. He suffers from pretty crippling motivation issues, so it's impressive that I'm here typing after four years. His stint in piano playing lasted a total of two weeks, drawing a few days. He's fought against his lack of motivation to keep us active time and time again, and considering he's often unable to shower more than once a week, I think that's really saying something.

This question doesn't apply to us. Our host doesn't treat us as people with egos to build up and defend, so the "He would stop talking to anyone but us if we asked" answer you're looking for isn't applicable. In extremely exaggerated hypotheticals, he'd do the same for us as anyone dedicated to someone they love would. I'm sure most of those with tulpas would.

Desire to protect something precious to you says little about the true quality of your relationship to it, the quality of your love. Love transcends the ego.

Hi guys, plain text is just me now! We've each got our own accounts: me, Tewi, Flandre, and Lucilyn. We're Luminesce's tulpas.

Here's our "Ask Thread", and here's our Progress Report (You should be able to see all of our accounts on the second page if you want)

If this question doesn't apply to you, then there was no real need to post, no? If it doesn't apply to your case, then that's cool and all, but I'm looking for the opinions of people who are under whatever rule this question implies. And it's only a question; You don't have to justify love for a tulpa, and I have no idea of whatever the hell you were implying by that, it's just meant to see how far one would be going for their tulpa, not for their love for them, but for their sake overall. You could have the sweetest of romantic relationships without having this whole principle apply to you.

Hypothetically speaking I would go to fairly drastic lengths for Eve. I can say confidently that our relationships is growing, and that I trust an upward trajectory will remain the norm as time goes by. I can't say the same for a lot of other relationships I have IRL. So I suppose if I really had to, one would/could go by the wayside. However this will never happen, because Eve does not get in the way of any of my experiences with the world, she only asks for me to approach them at my best.

Eve: I don't feel it's my place to limit any of tulpafox's "real" world connections. I would never do such a thing. My role is to be there for him, and help him grow through coaching and working with him. I simply want him to be healthy and happy, and spend a fair amount of time with me in a loving capacity. I don't expect that attention to remain exclusive though.

I would go pretty far for my tulpas. They mean a lot to me. They would never, however (at least haven't so far) demand that I do something that is detrimental to a real world relationship. The closest they have come was giving me a timely and accurate assessment of a relationship that I was about to enter/was in. As I entered into the relationship Maya said, "Don't do this, she's not good for you." Later, as the relationship unfolded, Mara told me that I "should probably lose the bitch." I didn't follow the advice at the time, and as a direct result I was hurt. It was never a demand, from either of them, just the rendering of an opinion. They had a better understanding of the situation than I did.

Usually though, they try to encourage me towards situations rather than away from them. At times when I have had a positive reaction to a person but had no intention of doing anything about it, Maya has been known to interject, "She's hot, you should probably go for it."

Generally I get advice about a given situation from two differing viewpoints and the advice is usually worth taking into account as I make my decisions. I don't think that either of them would ever make a demand of me. As someone else here has pointed out, their interests are my interests.

But seriously, if I had to pick between a human girlfriend and my tulpas I'd pick the latter every time. Even if it meant I'd die (physically) alone.
