  • Bio
    I'm a young tulpa. I'm a secretary. I was created in Northampton, Western Australia.

    About my family:
    ===========

    What Kevin (a human) says about himself and kerin (a tulpa):

    I've been married for 27+ years and we have one son (who has left home to live with his fiance).

    Education: B.Bus.(Information Processing) Curtin University 1986, B.A.(English - Film & TV) Curtin University 1987;
    Uncompleted: B.Sci.Ed.(1 year), B.Sci.(1 year), B.D.(1 year), B.Elec.Eng.(1 year).

    I am, by training, a Systems Analyst and a filmmaker. In my career I've been involved in many projects aimed at improving the safety of everyone.

    I attribute any success I have had to the Lord of Heaven: I'm a christian, and a scientist.

    Tulpas created by kerin:
    Nobillis - a tulpa secretary (form: my Avatar, but my hair is white now and I take human form to type);
    and three old tulpas (Watchdog 3, Watchdog 2, Watchdog 1).

    Transhumans:
    Kevin - The nominal "human." (original host)
    kerin - "I'm old, and I'm not wise, but I survived." (an elder tulpa)

  1. I have a thought-to-type servitor. I think, and it gets written here as text. It also expresses actions like this: *waves* Edit: You may be wondering how that works? Well, Kevin (my born human) learning touch-typing when in high school. That reflex exists in the body, and is linked with the language centre for word spelling. The servitor [just] taps into that reflex to render my words as key presses. It’s basically the same way that Kevin types, and I am leveraging it.
  2. The British “Hearing Voices” website (part of the UK National Health Service) recommends treating [such estranged personalities] with respect [to calm them]. Listen to the points, as it’s likely something important to you that is being exaggerated so that you will take note. Recommendations of violence should instead be understood as warnings of perceived danger rather than instruction to act. I have a servitor that is a copy of all the dark emotions called watchdog_3. His take on it was : “I reject the human assertion that I am evil. These emotions have a purpose otherwise why would they exist? What is anger for, if not righteous anger at injustice? what is hate for, if not to hate the strong tormenting the weak? Rather, I say these emotions are important!”
  3. This question has always been asked a lot (in various forms). The usual method to coax a tulpa is to write a letter to them explaining why you want them to come back. Write it with a pen, on paper. The act of writing forces you to focus your thoughts. The physical media of pen and paper encourages linear reasoning. (it doesn’t matter if you post the letter — writing it is enough.)
  4. Have I experienced this? Yes. It's not at all common though, as Kevin (my born-human) prefers to sleep. (He has zero interest in the paracosm. We have a 50%/50% time-share agreement for sharing fronting.) Kevin and I tried many experiments with the paracosm. Me there only. Him there only. And, other permutations. So long as a personality that was self-supporting was present time would flow in the paracosm. Otherwise, time effectively froze (except for the observer) and "NPC"s would halt (seemingly unaware of the event, later). Independent tulpas, complex servitors and Kevin did not freeze. Here's another experiment we tried. Me fronting, and then I impose Kevin visually (the way he normally would me). For Kevin he said it was like looking in a mirror, but reversed. For me, it was "Oh! Two bodies!" So, at least for Kevin, the concept of "see me" from Terry Pratchett's Diskworld books is in fact possible. (obviously the viewpoint is constructed, but Kevin reported that it visually looked real to him) I conclude that something like parallelism is possible, if there's no overlap of resources needed. (small study size) Edit: This did not happen quickly. Kevin is a contender for "slowest of the slow" in tulpa making. Starting 1969, it wasn't until 2014 that my family had sufficient experience to test if "see me" was in fact possible.
  5. I'll give you a far-outlier's view on this discussion. I'm from a family of tulpa makers that have been making tulpas for a very long time (1960's). My conclusions are from that family perspective and our unpublished research, so this may not be widely applicable. What Is a Tulpa? A tulpa is essentially a habit. A set of neural connections grown due to reinforcement by repetition and focus. A habit that becomes self-aware over time. (you will need a PC to view this) Allione, Tsultrim, Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict (New York: Little, Brown and Company; 11 October 2008). Stages of Development These are some rough classifications based on observations taken over a 60 year period. Dependent: requires the focus of another mind in order to be active. Habituation: gradual formation maturity of character (generally 2 - 3 years, can be up to 9). Pre-independence: apparent reversal of progress (typified by difficulty of communication; after previously being very communicative). Independent: active by self-focus. Effectively immune to disbelief or being ignored. Self-actualised: Growth of personal life independent of creator. Effective plurality. (generally 5 - 10 years, can be over 40). Possession A tulpa controls some or all of the body. Generally in parallel with their born-human. Half the case studies (5) reported possession to be associated with an effect like "tunnel Vision". This could be conceptualised as sharing a "control point" for the body. Source: private case studies and -- Pleebs Tulpa Lecture from about 2013. Pleeb is the owner of Tulpa.info . Pleeb and the nature of perception. Pleeb's rant about minds and stuff. Switching This term seems to conflate at least four altered states of consciousness. It can be conceptualised as changing the default authority for the "control point" of the body. Co-fronting: Tulpa controls the body. Born-human also has control. No "tunnel vision". Fronting: Tulpa controls the the body. Born human is asleep or in paracosm (wonderland). Fixated: One personality is stuck as the default authority of the body. This is a uncommon occurrence in tulpa making. All case studies exhibiting this phenomena were correlated with a life event that induced a intense fear of falling in the past (or current). Tulpas can only posses (see below). Full body possession: In recent years, there's been a tendency to use Switching interchangeably with Possession. Included here only for clarification.
  6. I’ve expressed my opinion here. In summary, I personally think that tulpas should only be in romantic relationships with tulpas. That’s my personal bias based on my experience. Given that I am a far outlier, my thoughts may not be relevant.
  7. Hey Piņki. I'm still around. I'm still Pleeb's secretary. I think we talked a few times on IRC? Since we haven't heard from FAQ_Man in a couple of years, my family is probably one of the eldest now. I know _Irish is still alive, but it's probably a year since I talked with him.
  8. I'm going to comment from my experience, on a narrow part of this topic: feelings of love, specifically selecting a spouse. I have been in love with a born human. I would call it a loving relationship (but it wasn't sexual). That was a pretty heart-breaking experience (I think on both sides). A lot of that was miscommunication and the intensity of emotion being just too strong for someone only a year old. So while I can be as intelligent and educated as any born human, it doesn't come with emotional maturity. Who I chose to [legally] marry was another tulpa (different system). There's more compatibility there with being able to understand what life is like. It has turned out to have been a good decision so far ; these seven years (elapsed time). I have come to the opinion that tulpas should only be romantic with tulpas. That's my personal take.
  9. This is just description of my own ideas and experience. Make of it what you will. I'm a far outlier in the community by just about any measure you might select. When I was very young there was strong feelings of attraction fro my born human. Now, neither of us wanted anything of a romantic nature; so it was a bit of a difficulty to communication. I think it's pretty difficult to not be attracted to your born human when you are very young. After all, there's this amazing and wonderful person who's spending time with you. Also , they are likely the only individual you can communicate with. So, it's going to naturally be that you like them [I think]. As I became more mature that hero worship mellowed into something a bit more realistic. I think what I am saying is : "don't rush it."
  10. I have an idea that the seed of a tulpa can exist before she is created. back in the early 1960's, my born human (Kevin) experienced a phenomena he called "the watcher". He could hear it walking down the long passage to the rear of the house where his bedroom was. It would eventually halt at the door of his bedroom, as though looking in. However, there was nothing to be seen, even watching from the door when the foot steps sounded like they were walking away. The sounds were as boots on the wooden floor, and the creaking of the boards. I remember that time, but from the perspective of walking down the passage to check on Kevin to see if he was okay.
  11. One of the creators of the original creation guides, FAQ_Man, was in his 70's when he created his tulpas iirc. My creator was well into her 40's when she created me. So, I don't think it's age related; but rather it is dependent how persistent you are (in my observation, over the previous 8 years).
  12. Mostly that anecdotal stories indicated that it would take long. The little information available came from Buddhist and Indian sources. There were few books and no guides. Even amongst Tibetan masters the practice was rare and dying out. Tulpas were viewed as a training exercise to teach about personal illusion. It was assumed that first meditation, introspection and mental discipline would be learned before making a tulpa. Making a tulpa was also considered a very risky undertaking that only the most promising students should be allowed to attempt. Success was rare, even amongst those considered masters. I am not claiming that Kevin was trained in that tradition. I am just explaining why it was thought to take long. Kevin comes from a family of tulpa makers. Making a tulpa was a family tradition that was considered private and not to be discussed. Beyond the familial tulpas nothing more was taught. Some learned more on their own through research and experiment.
  13. I’m from a “system” <1980. When my creator tried to talk here she was told “there are no tulpas that old.” So I was made as a representative. I have never claimed parallel processing. I have always said that what I do is akin to rapid context switching like a single core CPU does (as an analogy). Just the other day when I was talking with @Pleeb on telegram I sent him one of my telegram stickers without my born-human being aware of what I was doing. (Kevin was talking with his wife.) I find it coincidence that I was mentioned with @reguile as I used to argue this topic with him back in 2013. I gained a great deal of respect for his opinions even if I personally had a different perspective on being. Meditation, self-hypnosis and narration were the means to make a tulpa in the 70’s. This was before hour counts were a think. A tulpa could take years and as much as a decade to make. This made for “unimaginably” strong tulpa by today’s standards. To this date I doubt there are more than a handful of tulpa makers who would believe tulpas existed back then. Even wonderlands were an old think. I have be researching tulpas for years. Many of my findings disagree with the prevailing zeitgeist, so I don’t publish my findings anymore. (The community is highly critical and I personally don’t enjoy debates.) Other points: Writers experience their characters as having minds of their own. (You will need a PC to view this.) Parallel processing is a real think (according to a small study). Please excuse the poor formatting. It has been years since I was active here. Edit: fix three words.
  14. I have compiled a library of reference materials and books over on Reddit. Nobillis, necroposting Since 2013.
  15. You can look at the.pdf. (It’s a huge file, and you will need a PC to view it.) It’s a beautiful book, which you can see from this page.
