  1. I merged them, I may have messed up and botched the title and url of the original, but that's alright. here it is.
  2. Something broke in the SSL cert renewals and they expired. Had to re-do everything but it's all working now. Sorry for that.
  3. The site has been upgraded. I accidentally changed everyone's theme, but you can change it by going back to the bottom of the page, and re-selecting your default theme. Please let me know if you see any other weird stuff.
  4. Going to try messing with it to see why it's happening. So weird.
  5. Testing to see how long this takes to post. EDIT: it was instant....
  6. I'm going to move this to General Discussion (it may get more visibility there too). Would you mind editing your posts to move the bard-specific responses in a quote for visibility?
  7. I posted an announcement about it, you can read what led up to the server closing. I locked that topic because I didn't want more drama but feel free to post about it here and stuff.
  8. Here is my full announcement that I posted in the server itself:
  9. I'm hearing good things about Godot -- free an open source, 2d and 3d. I've been using Gamemaker (more for 2d) since the early 2000s, so that's what I'm still using these days. The latest version of GML is pretty nice (just wish it wasn't subscription model now now!)
  10. Site was updated, but the Account Switcher, but they switched to a subscription model (need to pay $25 now, plus $12/every year). Additionally, Invision Community is retiring their plugin marketplace. We went with invision community due to easy upgrades and the account switcher, and it's a love-hate relationship between using BBCode, having to pay for everything, etc. This is frustrating. Anyway, who uses the account switcher? And if you do, is it the end of the world if we lose it?
  11. @Ranger and @Ruthenic have stepped down as moderators. Ranger has been instrumental to this community over the years, and I'm grateful for her time helping. I'm also very thankful for Drake's contributions.
  12. Back in the day (late 2011 through early 2012), I was quite a lurker. Everyone kept asking if I was ever going to finally start creating a tulpa, since I went back-and-forth on it for months. In the end, I decided to go for it, and believe it or not it was an experiment. I wanted to see if all of this was real, and I created this website at the same time to document the progress. Nowadays people may say my reasoning for creating a tulpa was not very justifiable, but chess and I are both very happy that she exists.
  13. @Srn347has stepped down as a moderator. I'm incredibly thankful for all of their help over the years! @Ruthenic is now a Chat Moderator, and Rusty is a HOP.
  14. On-topic: a thread that may be worth browsing on the subject:
  15. The ghost related experiment was probably the Philip Experiment. Unrelated but there's also tracking the tulpa, in the journal of emergent religions. Also here is a declassified study by the military on tulpas. Seems pretty paranormal in intent (it was in the 1970s); I'm attaching it to this post but it used to be hosted on https://www.dod.mil/pubs/foi/homeland_defense/UFOs/Bearden_UFO_ADA068988.pdf Bearden_UFO_ADA068988.pdf
