Hi everyone and welcome to our profile!

I (Wondrous Fairy) am a really old tulpamancer (past 40!) whose the host of a collective of a lot tulpas. If you're wondering who they are, here's a handy topic on our blog that introduces them: thttps://tulpas.wondrousfairy.com/2021/12/01/roll-call-2021/

We have an extensive set of inner worlds that all do their own thing independent of us. Some of our tulpas live in those worlds and originate from them, while a fair portion of our tulpas live in the castle in our main world. On our blog, we all chronicle our lives as they are in both worlds along with guides, interviews, AMAs, etc.

So, if any of that sounds interesting, here's our blog: https://tulpas.wondrousfairy.com

  1. I created Mech originally as an interface to my logical mind, which means that his attitude has always been dispassionate and detached. However, the "him" moniker is not really accurate as Mech never really identified as a gender, hell, in the beginning he was very hesitant to even identify as a personality. Over the years I've been part of the community though, I've talked with enough tulpamancers to know that the whole lovely dovey "tulpas are always nice and mentory and loving" isn't really representative. For every collective out there there's a different and unique story and while a lot of them probably fall into the rough categories described here, there's a ton of others that don't. One of the more common questions I see over in the subreddit is by tulpamancers who find themselves with a tulpa that doesn't conform to this stereotype. And as I have two tulpas of my own (among others) that are on the antisocial personality spectrum, I can say that some tulpamancers would definitely approach the "pit problem" described above with the phrase "The predator should be afraid of me instead of the other way around"
  2. The last time I (host) raised this question in my collective during one of our annual meetings, the consensus was that nobody was really interested in existing in my world. I think Circe said it best: "Fronting is sort of like wearing a masquerade costume made out of meat that you can't really take off. I have no interest at all in living someone else's life or using their body because I'd always be something else than what I really am." However, I must also point out that we have several inner worlds present which there's a lot of detail to, so for my tulpas, their lives in their world are more real to them than my world is.
  3. Mech: Is a bit more than about 6½ feet tall (bit over 2 meters), he's a big hulking guy. Circe: In her natural state, since she's based off a Norn from Guild Wars 2, she's a whopping 9 feet tall. (2.7 meters!) Although she changes her size whenever appropriate. Both to fit into normal human dwellings and to avoid scaring the locals in our worlds. Mirror: Since she's based off Circe's character template, the same goes for her. Jane: Clocks in at 5 feet four inches (around 162 cm) so she's kind of short compared to most of us. Thor: Is a giant of a man, he clocks in at about 7 feet. (A bit over 2 meters) But hey, he's based off the old norse god legends, so .. go figure! Bear: Since he's based off the concept of a teddy bear that's been turned "real", he's just shy under a foot. (35-40 centimeters) Steve: Since she's got the body of an American Red Fox, she's about a foot tall also. Charlie: Is about my own height which is 6 feet (180ish cm) Jeanette: She's a bit under six feet (170 centimeters) Colleen: Is a bit taller than Jeanette (177 centimeters) Mrs Teacher: Is pretty tall, she clocks in just under seven feet. (bit more than 2 meters)
  4. Hi everyone! Been a while, but here's our latest adventure where we join up again with the drider called Desenda. If anyone has any questions or comments, drop 'em in, we love it!
  5. Circe got her dress soaked in blood, so what better way to clean it than to give it some creepy witch in a dungeon? A few days later, I joined her in picking it up as well.
  6. Aaaand now that you're all caught up on how the world of driders are like, here's another poignant adventure about the most unexpected of zealotry.
  7. I went a couple of weeks on morphine which killed my libido entirely. Definitely didn't change anything in terms of tulpas expressing themselves. Well, except for Circe complaining she was sexually frustrated.
  8. Second update coming out, this one is a bit of a recap for those of you that aren't familiar with The World Of Driders. As always, if you have any questions or comments, you can drop them here!
  9. Hello everyone and welcome to 2022's first update: https://tulpas.wondrousfairy.com/2022/01/17/the-witch-and-her-dungeon/ Basically we decided that respawning instantly during adventures was a bit too broken and that we needed a bit of a roleplaying aspect to it. Me being .. well.. me.. decided that I had a good lead on who could fix this problem for us :D
  10. Last post of 2021, as per tradition it's a summary of our party and the year that's gone by. Cheers to everyone and a happy new year, see you in 2022! //Wondrous Fairy
  11. Well, now that I'm on my Xmas break, I tend to make fried eggs on toasted buns in the morning. And since my kitchen is linked to the castle kitchen, the smell of it drifts in and wakes up both Steve and Bear in their den inside of the wall. Steve is usually the first one to wake up as she's closest to the hole into the kitchen. Her excitement with her accent is always so hilarious. Yesterday morning, Circe was sitting and waiting for breakfast as Steve comes out her her fuzzy fur and goes "AY! Is Fairy makin' eggs?" and of course Circe cooly goes "Yes, I think he is." which prompts Steve to jump up on her chair, tail going everywhere as she says "DATS GREAT! Fairy ALWAYS makes da best eggs, oh man oh boy oh man!"
  12. The end of the year approaches fast! As per tradition, me and my tulpas got together for a nice Christmas Dinner at Castle Odylfius. As always, if you have any questions or comments, we'd love to hear them!
  13. We've talked about this in our collective and the consensus is that when I fail, we all fail. That also means we have a grim pact that if that ever becomes the case, I'm to end it for the mercy for all of us.
  14. Mech: He has a very neutral and monotone voice that he's always had ever since he uttered his first word "Yes" Circe: Has a very average American dialect voice, she's gone through a bunch of accents over the years, but settled on plain American as she feels that represents her best. Mirror: Same as Circe as she's technically a clone of her. She was born with it you might say! Jane: Sort of a basic valley girl accent, but with everything cut off more consistently. Imagine someone with a valley girl accent that was really fucking serious about what they did.. yeah that's Jane. She's always had that. Thor: A boasting neutral British accent with some slight nordic overtones. Usually when he gets angry or upset. Also, he curses in ancient Norse when he gets angry. Bear: American neutral accent, very dark and growly tone of voice. (which fits since he's a creature spawned from a teddy bear) Steve: She's got a dark male voice with a thick Brooklyn accent. If you want a good approximation, try this clip. Charlie: Speaks with the Queen's English. I often joke that he's the Alfred to my Batman. Jeanette: has a neutral American accent. Colleen: Has a lilting Irish accent which is similar to this. Mrs Teacher: As she's spawned from the game Guild Wars 2, she still has her British accent for the Sylvari character, however,as she's very young for at tulpa (less than a year) I don't know if it'll stick.
  15. I've never become someone else, but I've frequently been a non-existent observer in their dreams. Usually the dreams are just that and we can laugh about them afterwards. But Jane sometimes has dreams about her traumatic past and those are usually not really fun to be a part of. Whenever I've had a dream like that, I'll ask her in private if I indeed was watching a dream of her past and she'll either confirm or deny it. In a way, I know she appreciates it, because as fucked up as she is, I think it gives her some solace in knowing at least someone else know about what's happened to her before we all met.
