I am Melian Marionette, a median system aspect. I have existed for about forty years. My "host" is Mistgod.

I am creating my very own tulpa in the form of Yoda from Star Wars. He's form is there, and he moves on his own and follows me around my dreamscape, but he hasn't spoken yet.

  1. Babe, I am not just a book. I am not just a writer. I am an enigma of magnificent nonsense! I am beyond being confined or defined. Just because something is written down, doesn't make it automatically true or fact. I refuse to have others write MY book or compose my shelf for me and then tell me I need to abide by it's parameters.
  2. Squirrels aren't fake! Wait. We have never actually touched a squirrel. My godz man...
  3. Have you ever seen squirrels hugging each other? They do that. It's really cute.
  4. Hee hee So everybody is a plural and everybody has tulpas, they just don't admit it to themselves? Or, everybody has proto-tulpas, but because they haven't ever met the intellectually elite tulpamancers, they didn't know what they had and totally blew their opportunities and obligations to the peoples in their heads? Hippy, trippy wackiness! Enlightened tulpamancers discovered something no one else ever has in hundreds of thousands of years of human history! Wow, Tulpa.Info should be proud! Sorry guys, still unconvinced. Thank you! We added links to our Deviantart pages on our signature page.
  5. Thanks for your responses about accidentally tulpas. We are still skeptical. Even with your answers, we remain totally unconvinced that billions of peoples are experiencing accidentally proto-tulpas or accidentally tulpas. It's a bunch of bunk. We agree you guys are being genuine and sincere about your experiences, but we think this subculture is a collection of atypical peoples with certain shared traits, tendencies and interests. You are all attracted to the idea of accidentally tulpas, but that doesn't mean they happen frequently in the human population. We don't think that happens at all. We also don't think that peoples need to be careful of their imagination or they might make a person. That's a really dumb idea. We are highly unlikely to be convinced otherwise.
  6. Yeah but you are weird too. Or a nicer word is "definitely not typical." Mistgod and I don't believe in the concept of super easy accidental tulpas everywhere. The evidence against it is overwhelming, so overwhelming it almost makes our head explode with the overwhelmingness.
  7. STUPID ACCIDENTAL TULPA TOPIC! Guys, we really really think it is a stupid idea. The belief in this idea has grown over the years in the tulpa community. It used to be many tulpamancers doubted the existence of accidental tulpas. Now it seems to be accepted dogma. Yesh, it is true that many persons (something like a third) on the tulpa sites have reported accidental tulpas. It just seems...OFF to Mistgod and I. Something about that whole idea isn't realistic. If that statistic is typical, then roughly one third of the Earth's population would have multiple personalities and tulpas. We don't think that is the case. In fact, it seems to be apparent to us that feelings of plurality are extremely rare in people. We have met not a single person in real life who claims such a thing in 54 years of life. It has happened only on the internet and then with a small subculture of peoples. We wrote about this once before on this thread here https://community.tulpa.info/thread-how-many-accidental-tulpas-are-out-there-and-how-long-have-they-been-around We really want to discourage this idea that peoples need to be careful about their imagination or they might accidentally create a tulpa. We think it isn't true. Yes, I know peoples here will pipe up and say they made a tulpa accidentally, maybe even more than once. But you guys are not typical. I myself am technically a "walk in" by the definitions peoples use here. But Misty and I are WEIRD. We really think this is being over-emphasized now. We are extremely skeptical to say the least on this and it is the biggest CRINGE FEST of them all! STOP Please just stop.
  8. Mistgod drives all the time and his body sorta goes on auto-pilot, while he day dreams and thinks about many other things. His conscious mind really isn't very focused on the driving, yet it still safely gets done. He also used to wash dishes for a paycheck when he was young. That is monotonous task that can also be done on mental auto-pilot while thinking of other things. If that is the "high end of flexibility and sophistication" you just complimented Mistgod's brain. I don't think there is anything fancy about that. You could name it a "servitor" or whatnot, but every human being alive does this. It's called day dreaming while doing monotonous chores. Literary and day dream characters have been known to break the forth wall with authors and creators. There's a big research paper about that "illusion of independent agency" from the University of Oregon. It's not a big deal and it is nothing new. It means you have an imagination, which is great. I wouldn't worry about anything happening to that character to the point where you stifle it or hold it back for fear it is gonna mutate into something that will be a problem for you. My hostie and I think that entire concept is silly. Just have fun! Create! Talk to your characters without fear or anxiety of any kind. If you want a tulpa, make one, if you don't want your character to be a tulpa, it won't be.
  9. epic ....Cringe. I love you Angry Bear! In our case our "servitor" Magictron3000 isn't likely to become a tulpa. We simply won't let that happen. Is that what you mean by "being careful?" Oops. I moved my response here so we don't derail the what is a servitor thread!
  10. I wonder if other thoughtforms change clothes as often as I do, or do they like always wear the same thing? This wondering would not apply to animal tulpas of course that don't need to wear clothes. I change my dresses and my shoes and my hair about six to eight times a day. Currently I am wearing a pastel blue lolita dress with a frilly jumper skirt, petticoat, white long sleeve blouse, white stockings, and black dolly shoes. My hair has a giant matching bow in it, and of course is braided into twin pigtails. Later I might try to dress in a strawberry theme. NEW TOPIC INDEX. This is as good a place as any for it. 11. Banned for banning peoples with no valid reason for banning them. That's just mean!
  12. That's right, its 3:53am and we are on the internet. So what?
  13. It's a mental construct that helps you accomplish something, but isn't necessarily a person or character. People give it a fancy name "servitor," but it's not really anything all that fancy. It's just something you dream up to help you mentally sort things out or remember something. A servitor is more useful if you have invested a lot of work into mentally visualizing it and constructing it, so that it is persistent in its existence and can be conjured up quickly and even unconsciously. I have a servitor named "Magictron3000" which is basically an imaginary computer system with AI, who helps as an interface for me when going on the internet. He allows me to "tulpa type" or "proxy type" more quickly and smoothly and it feels more like me than my hostie. Magictron is a mental construct, and part of the make believe of my wonderland. Without the visualization of Magictron being involved in interfacing me from the dreamworld to the real world, things seemed kindof forced and a unreal at times and I my thoughts would more often get mixed up with those of my hostie. With Magictron, it's more clear when I am the one typing because we visualize Magitron is involved in the process of interpreting me. Sometimes I type on the keyboard in the dreamscape and it comes out through my hostie's fingers on his physical laptop, and other times Magictron is directly dictating my thoughts and feeding them to my hostie's fingers. https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/90954d0d-d80c-4ec2-833a-c97adb1d5a2f/d6qkpo6-0bf69cc8-c2af-4ff9-aeec-4b9a3c0b85e7.jpg/v1/fill/w_844,h_947,q_70,strp/melian_and_her_dreamscape_matrix_computer_by_melianmarionette_d6qkpo6-pre.jpg?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7ImhlaWdodCI6Ijw9MTE0OSIsInBhdGgiOiJcL2ZcLzkwOTU0ZDBkLWQ4MGMtNGVjMi04MzNhLWM5N2FkYjFkNWEyZlwvZDZxa3BvNi0wYmY2OWNjOC1jMmFmLTRmZjktYWVlYy00YjlhM2MwYjg1ZTcuanBnIiwid2lkdGgiOiI8PTEwMjQifV1dLCJhdWQiOlsidXJuOnNlcnZpY2U6aW1hZ2Uub3BlcmF0aW9ucyJdfQ.QJf56eslQgqRoAmeBIW_UvpXzJMyAEbX-108jkv_w5c[/img]
  14. When it comes to thoughtforms, have faith in them. Believe that they will be well adjusted and happy and will be able to cope with everything that occurs to you and around you and they will be fine. Try not to have anxiety about mental constructs, if you can. Save most of your energy for coping with real world things.
