Tulpas can do whatever they want? As long as your host is fine with it. Nothing stopping you from having a wonderland "NPC" that's not a full on tulpa, or I guess imaginary friend, if you can have one of those without making them a tulpa.

Eddie, no one's going to make fun of you here. Welcome and enjoy! We have a ton of NPC's and thoughforms, even a crafty 'pet' snail, so there's nothing to worry about.

One time I created a random NPC thoughtform and messed around in the wonderland. I also have an NPC pet hippo too!

I have two friends that I created in my home. One is Chomp Chomp, a piranha plant, and the other is Jelly, a squid. I like calling her a jellyfish but Dragon says those are different. They are not tulpas, more like pets, so I guess you can say they are imaginary friends because they live with me in Dragon's imagination.

Dragon also made me a monster grue friend named Seka and she is also not a tulpa. It is possible to make thought forms that aren't tulpas. Think of them like non-player characters in a video game or incidental background characters in a TV show. Just keep in mind that they are only characters.
