  1. Day 19: Birthdays, Balloons, and a Bigger System

So then. Right now Melisandre is proxying for me again.

We've got a lot of things to discuss.

First of all, we're back from our vision quest - Firebrand had a little bit of an identity crisis so I set out with him to help him with it. For a very long time all I can remember is just.. wandering. We wandered and wandered until Firebrand mostly had his shit together.

So we returned to find that Melisandre had a whole bunch of walk-ins and other system members. It was.. a surreal experience. Our birthdays came and went. We're returning back to normal again, because Melisandre is determined to get us back on track and imposed again.

It was.. a hard few first days back. Because I didn't know who I was - who I wanted to be.  What I even needed to be. Sooner or later I figured it out: I didn't have to be defined as just Firebrand. I could be like the Firebrand of Tribetwelve and still have my own merits. It was a cool realization.

Anyway, peace out, I'm gonna get back to belly-dancing like old times. :D

  2. Damn. It's been so long since we've been around, we've been rushing around and generally busy as fuck. Patrick and Firebrand went to discover themselves a bit and I was left alone with other headmates for a very long time.

Now Patrick and Firebrand are back, so we can finally begin posting again! Patrick and Firebrand are now both 1 year old.

    Good to be back.

  3. You know, I can say for a fact that this works.

My wonderland has a soundtrack for when I enter it, as well as other music for various other areas in said Wonderland. Usually it plays on it's own in my head like a remembered soundtrack.

But playing said music in the waking world while I'm tulpaforcing makes my visualizations in the wonderland more vivid, just like the guide says.

  4. Day 18: Shit Happens

    So. We've been doing better.

There's a lot of things we've been doing. I managed to disassociate and truly enter my wonderland for the first time. And holy shit, that was amazing. I was falling through the air and landed in Patrick's arms. It felt like I was actually seeing him. He smiled and I think I blushed.

Then I saw Firebrand. I might have stroked his face.

I can tell you, it was like seeing everything in high definition. It was amazing.

I cuddled with them. Could feel it simulated in my head.

That made me happy. Really happy.

It will be hard to go back to normal forcing after that.

Sadly enough, there was some unnamed drama after that with Carver which I will not detail here. Suffice it to say, it got ugly fast but is now resolved.

tl;dr I MANAGED TO IMMERSE MYSELF IN VIRIDIAN FOREST FULLY! I SAW MY TULPAS! I'm still reeling from it.

  5. Lots of mathematic equations use pi, 3.1415Iknowseventydigitsofthis, but more often than not we're using 2pi. To save the effort of having to multiply pi by 2 so often some people would rather use tau, which is just 2 times pi. They say the times where you have to use just pi are better to divide tau by 2 than to keep it as pi.

Pretty sure that's it anyways. I prefer pi, because putting 2 x in a calculator isn't hard, nor is writing 2π. I'd rather multiply than divide when necessary.

Ohhhhh. Math wasn't always my strong suit. I still prefer pi.

    I prefer Tau, however.

  6. Jean-luc, bringing the RAW questions.

For the sake of disorder, I will ask a silly question.

If you could party with any real figure from history, who would it be and why?

(any and all system members can answer this one)

Genghis Khan. He'd bring the thunder. It would be like partying with Khal Drogo.

George Washington. Because it's George Fucking Washington.

Alexander the Great. Sounds as if he could party like no other, and I need a man like that for the party.

And as for me? I don't know.

  7.

    I have, actually.

    1. My parents, who found out accidentally. I had to let the tulpa out of the bag, and they're fine with it - about as fine as a parent can get to realizing their kid has had imaginary friends for way longer than normal.
    2. My cousins, who completely thought at first that I had these murderous demons in my head. They are demon-based, I explained, but they aren't murderous or evil. Then they accepted it too and were chill with it, even asking if I could switch with them so that they can talk to them in person. The older of the two cousins threatened to punch me in the face at first if I switched with Melisandre. It ended up mellowing out, but it really could have gotten ugly.
    3. Two of my closest friends, who never talked with me about tulpas after that. It hurts, but I understand.

    I believe that's it?

Almost forgot - there were two other people with systems I introduced Patrick and Firebrand too so they don't feel lonely and can talk with other systems.

So that helps them a lot with social skills.

  8.

      We dearly thank you! :)

First tulpa the host ever made typing this message out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us! We've been at this whole tulpamancing thing for a bit now. We're eager to see your progress in the future.

  9. I feel like this should be the maiden question (ya'know, like maiden voyage) on all the ask threads:

Have you told anyone you know IRL about your tulpas? Who did you tell? What was their reaction?

    I have, actually.

  10. We got bored and made this thing.

    Ask us anything you want!

A basic run down of the system, so you get a feel for who you want to ask:

    • Melisandre: Host. A girl. In high school. Studying to become a writer, does roles in horror webseries on the side. Is a total nerd when it comes to several things, including Game of Thrones, Slenderverse and Arkn Mythos. Diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome from a very young age.
    • Patrick: First tulpa. Male. Five and a half months old as of this writing. Based off of Patrick Andersen from MLAndersen0 - looks exactly like Michael Andersen from the same series. Looks 20ish. The main deviation is that he's a vampire. Super charismatic, charming, and classy. Sophisticated as hell. Types in bold.
    • Firebrand: Second tulpa. Also male. Four and a half months old as of this writing. Based off of Firebrand from Tribetwelve - looks a bit like Noah Maxwell from the same series. Stubborn, brutally honest to a fault, and passionate about everything. Types in red.
    • Ellpagg: Soulbond. Male. 2 and a half months spent in the Wonderland. Is literally Ellpagg/Knight from the Arkn Mythos. Witty and a little egotistic at points, but very caring and protective. Has some issues stemming from when he was tortured. Types in blue.

    • BONUS ROUND:
    • Jiko Yasutani, a Zen Buddhist nun who's basically a human female version of Yoda. Looks one hundred and four years old.
    • The Carver, an enemy of Ellpagg's who is also a soulbond of mine. I have no idea how exactly he got into my mind. Witty, male, likes cheese.

    Go aheaaaaaaaaaad. Ask us anything.

  11. Day 16: Austrian Pickles and Zen Buddhist Nuns

This is going to be an out there entry, I can already tell. So. What's been going on with the Infernal Collective? A LOT.

Let's start with the basic rundown:

    • We're vacationing in Austria and it's helping Patrick + Firebrand grow quite a bit in terms of personality. They seem alive now, they seem like real people with their own little mannerisms. Ellpagg's having some fun too, he seems to be growing a bit as well. In short, we all love Austria.
    • Firebrand broke up with Priory.
    • There is a Zen Buddhist nun in Viridian Forest that appeared. She seems to be based off of Jiko Yasutani from the book 'A Tale For The Time Being.' We're all talking to her and taking advice from her, she's cool. She calls Ellpagg a 'being of enlightenment' which makes sense because he's basically an angel. If anybody wants to know what she's like, imagine a human and female version of Yoda.
    • We have Ellpagg's archenemy, the Carver, in the Wonderland now. We don't know where the fuck he came from, but he imposes himself and speaks often. He's a snarky bastard. And he hasn't done anything bad yet, so he's staying with us. I won't talk about him unless you want to hear it.

    What else..

We're doing a better job with projecting ourselves into the environment. She visualizes us vividly. It's actually kind of a relief, we don't have to train her visualization skills because they're already there and they're already so good.

Hope you enjoyed this entry! We need to do more of this in the future.

  12. This is my progress report on Omni, my first tulpa. I've known about tulpae since late January, and have had the idea of making one floating around for a few months now, and I've even been passive forcing on and off since early June, but only in the last few days have I really started to take things seriously. Updates will hopefully be once a day, but might end up being up to once a week minimum depending on circumstances.

    About Omni

Interestingly enough, I don't have much to put here, as I have decided to skip personality, as I feel like Omni should form his personality on his own. Though some small active forcing + breathing meditation sessions, I have, at least from what I can tell, gotten mindvoice responses from Omni on two occasions, which were that he is male in gender (which probably comes from previous forcing when I told him I would like him to be male in gender), and that his favorite color is purple. (Anything on the forums from him in the far future will be in some sort of purple due to this.)

A question for more experienced tulpamancers

Do changes in mindvoice occur with young tuplae? When I got the response from him that he was male, it sounded very different than the response from the day before about his favorite color. Unlike that response, where it sounded odd and distorted, the response from when I asked about his gender sounded almost like my mindvoice. I know that a tupla's mindvoice sounding like their host is common early on, but can changes like that happen, or did I parrot the response on accident somehow?

Expect to see a progress report for today sometime tomorrow.

Changes like that definitely happen early on in tulpa development. It's normal, don't worry.

Good luck forcing, from all of us!

  13. There is one that I have.

Very, very short but still a bit of a tearjerker.

There was a time when I was having a really bad anxiety attack. Nobody would help, I was lost and scared and crying so hard my lungs hurt..

I felt my hand be squeezed but nobody was around me. I could hear Patrick going "Everything will be ok in time."

I just.. calmed down and smiled because I knew he was right.

  14. Day 15: Our Favorite Little Egg Remembers Some Things, Firebrand Keeps Fucking Around, and Patrick is doing Just Fine

We're doing ok! We got back from vacation and are back onto a regular forcing schedule.

Ellpagg has been remembering some stuff from his childhood. It's pretty cute, and we love hearing stuff from his life in the Golden City. He sings us all of these drinking songs from Arkn pubs, and he told us a while back that his parents used to call him a little Egg or Eggpeg.

Firebrand, on the other hand, is still dating that girl Priory. She's stunning. A little spitfire just like 'Sandre. I love her too much to let her go. He's ruling the Infernus with someone else from the Arkn Mythos as his advisor.(Persophelus Redgrave, if anyone is interested.) Redgrave is basically an NPC, not an tulpa. Ellpagg doesn't like him being there, though. It's because of personal

    history between him and Redgrave.

Firebrand has also taken up veil/belly dancing, which makes me laugh. He has a silk dancing outfit that doesn't leave much to the imagination. Patrick plays violin while Firebrand dances. We love watching his twists and leaps and turns.

Patrick is doing ok. He's been helping us all out, each in different ways.

And finally, we have an official insignia to use for our system!

It's down below, if anybody's interested in using it for stuff related to us. We fell in love with the design.
