  1. One thing to note is there isn't really a way to "two steps backwards" unless you're doing something negative that effects your tulpa. Also one thing that helped me is writing down a goal, which can be something simple and passive, like having adventures while working on visualization, to something more complex and active, like possession. Either way as long as you're spending time with your tulpa you are making progress, just stay focused and work together/have a good time.
  2. They way I see it is like yin and yang. While she may be the opposite of you in some ways it can help balance you out. You'll warm up to each other though so have fun having silly arguments and whatnot.
  3. I was outside when it was raining at night doing some open eye'd visualization with Rain. Me: "You know you seem more lively tonight. Maybe the rain brings out the best in you." Rain: "No, I think only you can do that" And tonight I was randomly having some doubt issues because sometimes the brain likes to be negative and making me feel sad and she told me "I'm as real as you want me to be." After that I pretty much got over it because that answer completely surprised me and I know its true.
  4. After reading a bunch of posts about you preaching narration, I'm surprised you didn't do this sooner :P Also quick typo, you put "Male" instead of "Make."
  5. Well there's not too much I can do about it so I plan to and I'm not really going for much structure, just a few traits I'd like her her to have is all. I have considered it actually, when reading through a lot of the guides of course yours popped up but personally its not really how I want to go about creating my tulpa. However bits and pieces I'm sure I can find useful. Like I said earlier, I don't plan on going that in-depth with it. It just feels weird to try to force even a small amount of traits onto her. Yeah it's calmed down a little bit today so I'm sure it'll pass and thanks! We'll be working together on it so I'm sure given time we'll figure it out.
  6. So a week ago I started trying to develop a loose outline to follow to make my tulpa, and just looking up a bunch of guides and such. Well yesterday I decided to finally go ahead and start working with her with just a quick 30 minute introductory session. Just introducing myself, going over goals, plans, and touching a little on personality. All went fine and dandy and I feel it did help me with making her feel sentient. However all throughout today my mind feels like its all over the place. Non-stop thoughts are just randomly entering my head mostly involving her. I'm not really use to this sort of thing so I'm not really sure what to make of it. Any thoughts/advice? Also my mind is having a weird time trying to give something sentient a personality. I want to spend a little bit of time working on it, but at the same time it feels weird to say "I want you to have these set of traits." I'm sure there is a better way to go about it but can't think of a way at the moment. Suggestions?
