  1. My best estimate of Lee's age is about 5 years.
  2. Well, once I realized that Lee was a tulpa, I wanted to read more on the subject. My boyfriend talked to me about how his two best friends had tulpas and were very active in the community, and soon enough, I found myself stumbling upon their posts here. After a week or two of creeping threads to try and understand the basics, I decided to join.
  3. Until recently I honestly hadn't even thought to work on smells. But when my boyfriend asked me what Lee smelled like, I began to ask myself the same question. Lee and I have found that it's a mix of a very enticing cologne with sort of an... "ashy" or "burnt" undertone. That's the best way I know to describe it.
  4. It's very plausible. Lee kept changing his face until recently, and it was because he wasn't satisfied with what I was picturing. When I realized this, I let him decide on the details for himself and it stopped.
  5. Lee is with me all day, and I usually just take fifteen minutes or so to really focus on him before bed. Which is... basically what everyone else said, so I guess that really doesn't contribute much. But if you're asking for advice or suggestions on what to tell people when you really just want tulpa time, I could think of: Homework (if you attend college or school of sorts) You aren't feeling well today. (I wouldn't use that too often, though.) You just need 'you' time. (I use this a lot and actually mean it. I don't get a lot of flack for it.) You're tired and need a nap. You want to work on [insert hobby here.] But really, there's no need to constantly worry about making time for your tulpa. It's still important to socialize with friends and go out and stuff if that's something that you usually do. I'm not sure how much time people "traditionally" put into their tulpas every day, but I've found that just paying extra special attention in my spare time is enough. I hope this helps!
  6. I would love to meet more people, but it really isn't feasible for me. Luckily, I can talk to my boyfriend about Lee (and on occasion, Lee talks with my boyfriend via text message) and I know a couple of other people in the tulpa community in real life.
  7. Very tiring after a while, but I think that Lee enjoyed himself. For the first half, anyway - after that he was just... frustrated with it. But, here's the finished product: http://pastebin.com/rkJtBFMy
  8. Lee has helped me immensely. I have terrible social anxiety and bipolar disorder that I'm no longer taking medication for (a personal choice.) Sometimes it's quite difficult for me to force myself to go to classes, do homework, socialize, etc. Lee helps just by being around; he's something constant in my life that I can rely on while living a life that, more often than not, has little to no consistency in it. I can always count on him to be around when I need him. (Some people probably wouldn't find a sentient being who thinks of himself as the Antichrist very comforting, but it works for us.)
  9. Lee was quite unintentional. He was a character idea that I thought about so frequently that, after a very long time, he became a sentient being. Actually, I had no idea that Lee was a tulpa until a few months ago. I just thought of him as a strange sort of companion.
  10. Lee is an original character, humanoid, and a happy accident. He was originally created as the antagonist of one of my future novels, but eventually became so real to me that he began following me around and speaking to me. My boyfriend was the one to point out to me that he was very tulpa-like, and upon researching it, I realized that Lee did, indeed, fit the description of a tulpa. So here I am. Lee appears to be human, but essentially, he's the Antichrist.
  11. Hey! So... I've been creeping these forums for a few weeks now and finally decided to make an account. We'll see how it goes, I suppose.
