Link to survey This is a survey intended to determine if linguistic ability and writing experience has an effect on first-time tulpa creation, and to what degree this can be observed. Hopefully, this data may allow for some insight into what allows some first-time tulpas to develop faster than others, and perhaps help out those aspiring hosts who cannot make a breakthrough in the creation process. This survey is for hosts only, please, and primarily concerns your first tulpa. If your first tulpa was created on accident or without your active intention of forcing, please do not respond to this survey.

In case you hadn't noticed, this is one of my first ever posts on this website, and there's kind of a reason for that. I've been kind of lurking for a while, but decided to make an account prompted by a project for my high school psychology class (I know, lame). I wish I could provide specific information on the thesis, but the survey kind of necessitates the takers not to know. As I mentioned on the survey, I am going to be personally looking into the results beyond the subject of the actual assignment, and I'll of course be releasing all of the relevant results and hypothesizing on it. Hopefully this will be interesting for some people, although I can't go into detail. If you're willing to participate, the survey is here, and will only take a couple minutes to fill out. I would be grateful if you would take this survey on the correlation between mental illness and Tulpamancy (if there is any at all.) Non-mentally ill people should take this survey as well. I will be creating charts with this information for the purpose of sharing with the community, and also to answer the common question of "are these two things related?" Over seven months ago, I began working on a project that I hoped would shed light on the positive effects tulpas often have on the lives of their hosts and the potential this has in the context of mental health. After a half year of researching, misstepping, learning from those missteps, making connections, and general trudging, I am pleased to present the final data collection process for my observational study. The following is a link to a survey that seeks to explore the relationship between plurality and mental health. The questions are designed to contrive a comparative analysis that may identify which aspects of tulpamancy cause its therapeutic effects. The overarching goal is to develop a hypothesis as to whether there is a correlation between tulpamancy and improvements in mental health, mental disorders, and neurodevelopmental ones, and if so, the cause of this relationship. Survey Link At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you are willing to be contacted for follow up questions or an interview. The purpose of this is to investigate in depth some of the specific phenomena that I noticed in my pilot survey and research. For example, tulpamancy systems diagnosed with schizophrenia that are willing to answer follow up questions may be sent a questionnaire that asks how the tulpas are affected by the disorder, whether they are independent of it, and how interactions with tulpas differ from hallucinations.
