A few questions about tulpa

Hello. After giving it a lot of thought, I finally decided to register for this forum to ask questions about tulpa and talk with people who have created tulpa. I have only known about the existence of the concept of tulpa for a few weeks, and I have been lurking here since. I am yet to create a tulpa, and I'm still considering if I should or not, To start off, I have a few questions:

1. How would a tulpa react if its creator fell in love with it?

2. How lucid is a wonderland?

3. Can I add stores, concert venues, transportation etc. to a wonderland, or would doing so result in the creation of servitors?

4. I almost constantly have a song playing in my head. Will a tulpa be able to hear this, and will it annoy them? Especially considering how the songs tend to randomly switch, and often, are the same parts of a song repeated.

5. Can a tulpa eat?

6. Can a tulpa die?

7. Is a tulpa more or less indistinguishable from a real person? Does it look and sound as if it were physically there?

8. To communicate with a tulpa, do you have to talk out loud, our can you communicate with it telepathically?

9. Does a tulpa have access to your memories by default, or you have to give it such access?

10. If the answer to question 8 is no, how can I communicate with a tulpa before it becomes vocal?

11. I saw in one quite amusing thread on here that someone appeared to have created a rather creepy Slenderman tulpa by mistake, and seemingly was not happy with it. How often do things like this happen, and are they likely?

12. Is it possible for a tulpa to fall in love with its creator? Has this happened before?

13. Would you say this forum is active often, i.e on a daily basis?

14. How does my tone make me come across? I worry about coming across as rude.

15. Have you ever written a song, or drawn a picture with your tulpa?

16. I think I read you have to be calm when creating a tulpa. How do you do this? If I think about making a tulpa, the excitement causes to start giggling uncontrollably and want to run in circles. Seriously. I can keep calm thinking about tulpa in general, but creation get me excited.

Edit: 17. I have autism and ADHD. Does this mean my tulpa will inherit it?

Hello again and thank you in advance.

Currently does not have any tulpa

1. Depends on the tulpa. Tulpas are living beings (supposedly), and have their own personalities. They will react differently from tulpa to tulpa. There is no real way to predict this.

2. It depends on the person, and how much experience they have. However, the wonderland is merely a place that you visualize--it will be no different than anything else you visualize. Typically, people's mind senses are rather week, but the more you use them, the more vivid they will become.

3. You can do whatever you want--it's your imagination. I wouldn't worry about creating servitors.

4. A tulpa does not have to listen to your thoughts, so if they don't want to hear it, they can tone it out.

5. They can eat imaginary food, yes. Or, they can eat real food via possession.

6. No one knows for sure. Some say no, some say yes.

7. It is possible, some say, to reach a point to where they are as if they are really physically there. Besides the fact that you can still move through them, of course.

8. You can communicate with a tulpa via thought, yes.

9. A tulpa can go through them if they want, without you giving permission, yes.

10. It was yes.

11. I tend not to believe these types of stories, as they usually come from people who are not very credible. You should have no worry of such a thing.

12. Yes, and yes.

13. It is a rather small community still, but it is moderately active. It's certainly not dead, but could be much more lively.

14. You don't seem rude to me.

15. No, but I would like to some time.

16. I've never heard that you must keep calm. It is good to be excited about the process.

17. Autism and ADHD are not personality traits--they are in the brain. So it is really your brain that has these things, and considering they live in the brain, they will likely be subject to them to some extent.

I suggest you really take the time to read around these forums. You would find that most of your questions have been asked/answered before.

There is very little, honestly, that you can't find out about tulpas if you read around long enough.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

1. Varies, like anyone else

2. At the very least like a day dream I guess, never used this myself

3. Yes. Remember someone mentioning that the wonderland itself was like a servitor in a way

4. They don't have access to absolutely everything that goes on in your head. Access has to be given first. Yea you could annoy it if you wanted to but it'd probably filter the music out to ignore it.

5. Real food? No unless you share some of the sensations or use possession.

6. No, tulpa never dies just gets absorbed back into host

7. Depends how much you practice imposition and what you want. They can look very convincing to you if you want and if you ever get tired of them being visible you can just toggle that sensation off so to speak.

8. Either

9. As I said earlier must give it access. Becareful blindly giving it blanket access then you might come back to it bringing up embarrassing memories or something at a bad time.

10. In your head a yes or no, headache or no headache, green or blue flash, smell of roses or smell of pine, so many ways.

11. Uncommon I'd guess, you have a lot of control over your imagination after all.

12. Yes its possible, yes it has.

13. Sort of new myself hard to say, seems like there's some posting every few days.

14. Come across more as eager and curious than rude.

15. Yes, drawn before

16. Never heard such thing, just have to be comfortable and confident

17. Maybe. Personal experience says yes in some form, I have a condition, tulpa seems to share it. Good news is medication reduces condition's issues for me/tulpa.

1. However it feels like.(distaste, likewise feelings, etc.)

2. Depends, my and my girlfriend's wonderlands are basically like SimCity, Npc's everywhere.

3.Yes, that's not how servitors work though.

4.Yes, but they can ignore you if they want. Or you can make it so they can only hear your active thoughts to them.

5. Sure.

6. Yes, but unless they dissipated, its not actual death.

7. Less most of the time. Depends on how far/good you get at imposition.

8. Doesn't really matter.

9. Whatever you feel like.

10. Narration.

11. Almost never. They can happen, but you have to be an idiot for it to happen(or any person that goes to /x/ for real information)

12. Yes, oh my god you have no idea how huge the ratio for this is.

13. Yep, well, depends on the board. Metaphysics and Art are the slowest, taking sometimes days for a new post.

14. I have no idea dude, you sound clueless and that's about it.

15. No, I don't write music, but my tulpa have "helped" draw, and by "help" I mean actively be worse in comparison to my normal drawing.

16. Just chill, don't get caught in the moment, just go with the flow, be the least angry you can be. Just take the paths of least resistance and be happy with what happens regardless of the situation(unless this involves the deaths of many people, then you should panic).

17. Self diagnosed or actual diagnosed? If self, leave. If actual, they shouldn't.

Update: After having read your questions it seems like you just went to ask as soon as you thought of them and didn't really think about it at all. A lot of these questions can be answered on their own, meaning, "well, why *wouldn't* ___ be possible?"

1. How would a tulpa react if its creator fell in love with it?

Well, it depends on the person so that question can't be answered. Tulpas don't have a mass personality going on, you know? Just like people don't.

2. How lucid is a wonderland?

After some work it can be pretty vivid and controllable but it's not like that right away for most. You have to keep working on it.

3. Can I add stores, concert venues, transportation etc. to a wonderland, or would doing so result in the creation of servitors?'

Are you asking if people would start popping up? I guess if you have enough control over your wonderland you could just poof them but that wouldn't necessarily happen.

4. I almost constantly have a song playing in my head. Will a tulpa be able to hear this, and will it annoy them? Especially considering how the songs tend to randomly switch, and often, are the same parts of a song repeated.

I've heard of tulpas being able to hear things from their host's thoughts and others that would have to hear the host complaining about it... guess it depends...

5. Can a tulpa eat?

What? If you're asking if a tulpa can eat in the wonderland, of course. If you're asking if they can eat (taste?) when they possess/switch with you, if they have control over your hand, I don't see why not.

6. Can a tulpa die?

7. Is a tulpa more or less indistinguishable from a real person? Does it look and sound as if it were physically there?

Um, you have to work at this... I haven't heard of such vivid imposition where a host could feel them just like they were there but then appearing "solid" (meaning you can't see behind them) has been done. And they don't just poof like this immediately. Imposition is when you work on seeing/hearing/sensing etc the tulpa physically. Most aren't lucky to be able to hallucinate them with no work.

8. To communicate with a tulpa, do you have to talk out loud, our can you communicate with it telepathically?

Um, well since you share a brain (or, ok, some would say that they're just in your head, rather than actually having newly created networks in your brain, whichever) you can communicate through mindvoice... either way works.. at first some people just get head pressure or emotions, traces like that.

9. Does a tulpa have access to your memories by default, or you have to give it such access?

I think a lot of people haven't had to give them access. Some have claimed that they deliberately withheld their memories.

10. If the answer to question 8 is no, how can I communicate with a tulpa before it becomes vocal?

You can't communicate with a tulpa before they figure out how to give signs (like Yes/No head pressure if they decide to signal that way, emotions, etc), or able to speak words, if that's what you mean. How would you?

11. I saw in one quite amusing thread on here that someone appeared to have created a rather creepy Slenderman tulpa by mistake, and seemingly was not happy with it. How often do things like this happen, and are they likely?

Well... you live in this world too so maybe you can figure out how often it happens by searching around google rather than a site that is already focused on tulpas. Broad sampling.

12. Is it possible for a tulpa to fall in love with its creator? Has this happened before?

No, that is not possible. /sarcasm/

13. Would you say this forum is active often, i.e on a daily basis?

Yes, it is

14. How does my tone make me come across? I worry about coming across as rude.

It's fine. Do you have experience coming across as rude unintentionally a lot and people saying it's your tone? It's an experience some autistic people tend to have.

15. Have you ever written a song, or drawn a picture with your tulpa? Not me, no, but its possible.

16. I think I read you have to be calm when creating a tulpa. How do you do this? If I think about making a tulpa, the excitement causes to start giggling uncontrollably and want to run in circles. Seriously. I can keep calm thinking about tulpa in general, but creation get me excited.

That is bullshit.

Edit: 17. I have autism and ADHD. Does this mean my tulpa will inherit it? Since their brain is yours, yes...

My lip hurts.
