A possible way for others to hear your tulpa

This is based around the idea of subvocalisation, which is a phenomenon whereby when a person thinks about saying something, their throat somewhat mimics the movements that would be required to actually say that sentence.

Now, it's actually become(or becoming) possible to detect and translate subvocalisation via these nifty little skin-patch devices. They can detect brain activity, or just movement, interpret it, and transmit the information over...say... a phone, or a speaker...perhaps it may be possible for tulpa to directly communicate with other people.

One of the specific uses listed for the devices, after all, is "telepathy" through electronics due to subvocalisation, so it seems to me the only possible barrier would be if subvocalisation does not occur when a tulpa talks.

Now, I have no idea if these things are available yet or what stage of development they're in, but if they are working and available, it would be rather interesting and exciting to see if they can work in this manner, and if so to what extent. It may not be possible to test right now, but it is an extremely interesting possibility.

Some things to test it with:

- General accuracy & consistency of interpretations

- Both of you thinking/talking at the same time

- Multiple tulpa - but not the host - talking at the same time

- Tulpa at various stages of development. Specifically, before & after sentience, vocalisation, and audio halluciantions

- Hypnagogia

Reminds me of Adam Jensen's throat mic thingy in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Also, inb4 thought police use this to monitor everything people say, even under their breath

inb4 "I didn't ask for this."

However, they stated themselves that these patches aren't as accurate as invasive brain implants are. So I doubt we'd get decent results if we use the patches to have our tulpas talk to others.

Subvocalization implies some level of possession. If we're doing that, may as well work on it a little more and do full vocal possession, no?

That said, I do sometimes do something that results in tulpa words turning into subvocalization, which makes them easier for me to hear since mindvoice is really quiet for me.

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

This looks painful.

Your idea sounds painful.

Come up with less painful looking ideas.

In all seriousness, it'd be an interesting thing to give a go once the technology was out. I'm game.

Regardless of what I think of the idea, it's definitely possible. I noticed in some of the early stages of Maia's development, I would unconsciously subvocalize what she said to me.
