Vampire January 30, 2018 Share January 30, 2018 A CAT scan is simply a scan of the physical portions of the brain. A cat scan would look the same of a tulpamancer as it would anyone else. What you are probably thinking of is EEG scans, or brainwave scans. There are a few people attempting to make that happen but renting the machines are very very costly and hasn't been done yet. MarathonScript January 30, 2018 Share January 30, 2018 A cat scan would look the same of a tulpamancer as it would anyone else. Not necessarily. Different regions of your brain grow as you use them more, just like muscles. People who type or play piano have larger areas of the part of the motor cortex associated with discrete, piece-wise motion. Einstein, who played the violin and worked with math, had an abnormally large part of his motor cortex that dealt with continuous motion. I don't know if someone looking at a cat scan would know what to look for and I'm not sure I would either, but I'd be curious to know if there were any changes in places like the Lateral Geniculate Nucleus for people who are especially good at visualizing, or changes in the entorhinal cortex for people who can fully immerse themselves in their dreamland. Though, I might expect larger prefrontal cortexes due to always being with someone... Creator: J Tulpa: C H
