Iris July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 I go to have a nice, long forcing session and I do all I think I need to do (currently visualize how she looks and give her a run down of her personality) and I can't think of anything else to do so I leave and find out I was only there for 20 mins. So ITT we discuss productive activities to do with our tulpas while forcing whether it's in a wonderland or just your headspace. >inb4 prism

mordred July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 So ITT we discuss productive activities to do with our tulpas while forcing whether it's in a wonderland or just your headspace. >productive How about forcing? If you're only doing it for 20 minutes, then keep fucking going. Do something related to forcing. If you're bored of doing personality that session, then do visualisation. If you're bored of visualising, then try touching them or massaging them or whatever. Give her a hug. If you can't even do that, then just try keep her visualised whilst you narrate to her. Talk about shit. All of this is forcing related, and anything outside of forcing is just a waste of time- until they're sentient or talking. Then you can have fun doing whatever with your tulpa. If you can't even be bothered doing any of that, try visualising complex objects in your wonderland or whatever- like a chess set. Move the pieces around and see if you can keep track. Be productive. sage

I could visualize her, but only for a couple seconds and she was kind of clear. It was mostly feeling, in an emotional sense, her body on mine. That sounds awkward. Chupi July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 I've always wondered how you cuddle with your tulpa, i mean in the wonderland, it seems fine, but if they're imposed I know you can feel them, but if you put pressure your hand goes through Ideomotor response. If you've fully convinced yourself that she is/should be solid, your brain will do its best to keep you from being able to put your hand through her. Same deal can make light or nonexistent things seem really heavy. (Note: I'm *not* speaking from experience, just what I've read and got from others. My tulpa is not yet imposed. I can vouch for it feeling pretty real in the wonderland though.) Iris July 12, 2012 Author Share July 12, 2012 Ideomotor response. If you've fully convinced yourself that she is/should be solid, your brain will do its best to keep you from being able to put your hand through her. Sands July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 Many have reported feeling weight at least. I seem to feel it when I'm thinking about it, if I start concentrating too much on something else then I guess I forget that he's resting a part of his body somewhere and that I should feel it. It's something I need to work on, but I rarely have the chance to feel his weight. Certainly couldn't lift him, he's too heavy for that. Guest Albatross_ July 12, 2012 Share July 12, 2012 There was a thread on this not too long ago, discussing whether it would be possible to set up mental blocks that literally prevent you from pushing your hand through your tulpa or the like. It was concluded that it's possible but extremely difficult. Also we have had several threads on activities to do whilst forcing. Activities suggested included, but were not limited too: -Professional boxing -Paintball fights -Bowling -Gladiator tournaments -Hangliding -Spelunking -Potion-making -Pottery -Sculpture -Scuba diving -Pigeon raising -Truck driving -Weaving -Hunting -Archery contests -Gardening -Reading and any other activity that has ever been invented, discovered or performed by man in the history of the universe.
