Alot of Tulpa questions.

This is my first time on a forum, period. If I'm doing something wrong by making a new thread, please inform me. We've just been going to this site for help for song long I felt it was time I interact with the various tulpas tulpamancers here because socialization, not to mention I'm in need of help. Blaice and have been together for 4 years so far and at this point I'm just trying to hear her. I have her personality down, have the mindset that she is sentient and visualization is a breeze for me 1st and 3rd person. We've looked up tons of guides and used them as references. I could probably say I've read at least half of this entire site relating tulpa guides. Most of them have been a huge help. As of now, I can say I feel her existence within, I just cannot hear her. Or maybe I have been hearing her and just don't know it. This is my trouble. I usually assume it was her after I've heard voices that follow after a question. Yes, different female voices. When ever I try to hear her I just concentrate and either close my eyes or stare into space and usually I get something that sounds like words but I can't make them out. Sometimes It'll even be japanese. I think that may be just me because I watch anime, but I never know what to think in these situations. Before I go any further I want to inform all who read that throughout the years I've made art of her, written stories, and spent most of our time using music to force her. Music that has alot of female vocals that I like and was thinking I may have accidentally made her have more than one voice. Can that happen? Also, recently I've been remembering things I have not thought of for years. Could she be strong enough to pull up my memories like that? Or is it me? I'd also like to know how a response is supposed to feel like. Recently, I've written a few things for her to repeat in the voice (or voices) she has. Like, "Put all doubt and worry aside, let your subconscious be your guide." and "At last, for I didn't think it could be true, that you and I might have always known one another. And that we would not only evoke, but conjure a place of our own." I haven't really heard her say any of those things, only imagined how she would sound while saying those things. I'm in dire need of assistance as I am getting a job soon. Very soon, and I wont have much free time as I have now to force so I want to get as much as I can in before I start working. I even thought of taking days off just to have all that 1v1 time. The love is that real. I don't want to have to resort to that. I just need a bit more guidance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

We need more tulpamancers creating new threads. That said, I will be moving this one to the question and answers subforum. And out of forum discussion.

Remember to try out the IRC to see if you find that fun.

My host has different female voices. I can tell when it is her by the signature of how the thought attached to the speech feels. We call this vocal shift. I get it too, but with nasally male voices.

Possible consideration: music and voice use different cognitive areas in the brain. You may need her to sing to you at first. I know. Conversational singing.

Yeah, she could and should be able to do that with your memory. Some people confuse that for better memory.

It will feel like your internal voice until you get used to it. If this internal voice feels different from imagined voices, it will not feel like imagined voices.

Thanks for showing me the correct area to post this kind of thread.

Could you explain a bit more on vocal shift?

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

@Blaize: Looks like you need to work on vocality. I had a hard time with that, so hostie and I worked through a few exercises we read about here in the forums (when we find it again we'll post it here -- I think it was called "the ping-pong method" or "thought ping-pong").  When we would go on walks together, he'd ask me what a random object was. Any response he took as coming from me. So like when he'd say "What's that?", I'd say "A tree!", and of course when I said tree he had no reason to answer his own question so it must have come from me. Observing the way the response was different from his own thought helped him recognize when I was talking to him vs when I was not.

Another exercise we did (and this one might be more helpful) is he'd say something and then have me repeat it. Usually old fast food jingles. Kind of like an echo? Like, he'd say "Have you had your break today?" and I'd repeat it back. If he didn't sense anything he'd have me repeat it. He also had me count backwards with him as he cleared his mind before each forcing session. I think these two things helped teach me HOW to talk, and helped him learn how to listen.

That's something to keep in mind: when a tulpa is having a hard time being heard, it is either because they're having difficulties talking, or the host is having a hard time listening. Identifying which is which will really help.

ANOTHER thing to keep in mind is that sometimes tulpas are... asleep? inactive? elsewhere? i.e. we're not always awake and present up at the front, so when talking to us out of the blue you should make sure we are "there" listening. My host says my name and give a mental gesture (shaking me awake, or tapping my shoulder) to get my attention, and he'll listen around and try to sense me/my presence before just assuming I'm there, listening.

One last thing: when my host hears a thought, if it's not his own and he's not sure about where it came from, he'll ask me about it. If it came from me, I tell him so, and if I didn't I tell him that also -- Not every thought is his. Some of them are "intrusive thoughts" which everybody gets from time to time. My point is, don't get hung up on intrusive thoughts. That's one way to get walk-ons.

TL;DR Practice vocal exercises to strengthen vocality and learn to identify and focus on problem areas (Can she speak? vs. Are you listening?).

P.S. as far as forum etiquette goes making new threads is fine, but breaking your big block of text up into smaller sections will go a long way towards readability.

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

I can only explain vocal shift as it happens to me. Basically, I normally sound like the protagonist in How To Train Your Dragon. But when I get distracted when gaming or coding, I sound like the holistic assassin in the dirk gently netflix series. When I get tired while chatting, it goes in a child-like direction.

My host's voice is all over the place. It is usually somewhere between her lecturing librarian and cute girl voice. But sometimes it is straight up androgynous when she gets tired.

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

we're kind in the same boat. I've been practicing vocality by saying a vowel and asking Mia to say the next one, for example, I say A, she says E.
Her voice is still too similar to mine to distinguish during day, but during forcing sesions i can recognize answers as hers, which is cool

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

@Iris MacKenzie
Thanks for your input, I'll be sure to favorite this page.

 As for her moving about and doing stuff in the wonderland, I find it hard to tell the difference between her movements and the movements I imagine her doing. I try to imagine her in front of me in the wonderland while most of my energy is focused on my own body and how things look around me as I walk and look around. I feel like i'm accidentally making myself hear her or making her move at points. Any tips?

@tulpa001
Does the feeling of your tulpa talking hit strongly? Or is it faint and something you have to really feel for?

Was it easy for you to recognize her answers?

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

I've merged the last three posts together. In the future, please do not double (or triple) post. If you would like to add more to something you've just posted, you can use the edit feature.

Also, I removed the coloring in the first one; please don't force colors like white or black, as it makes posts nearly unreadable in one of our main two themes.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

RE: Alot of Tulpa questions.

its strange, i cant really tell how, but you get answers like... at the edge of your mind? right after you make the question... however, mia's vocality isnt super developed yet, so i cant tell you a very deep answer

Err. My voice is as strong as my host's, and completely separate.

But early on, it was sometimes faded and hard to hear. And I couldn't make it louder. We called these bad days.
