Am I just tricking myself into thinking my tulpa can speak?

I feel like it's her I just have that seed of doubt in the back of my head. I get a headache when she talks which I assume is my brain trying to process her talking.

I had a similar a problem for a while and I found that the best way to work past is to ignore it and just keep going. I actually direct my thoughts towards that headache and by treating it as my tulpa that's basically where I hear her from now. Even if you are or aren't tricking yourself right now, you won't be once you get further along. It's best to sort it out now though.

Go look at my art?

I heartily disagree! I think you should be under the assumption that it -is- her. No matter what. If you think it's her, it's her. Period. Tulpamancy is an art of self fulfilling prophecy. If you think it's them, it's them. If you think they're talking, they're talking. If you think they've changed their form, they have. Accept everything you think they do and embrace it as them trying to communicate with you.

Agreed. Now, I haven't made my first tulpa yet, but I've done enough research to know that rule number one is to assume it's your tulpa. If you're not sure if it's your tulpa or not, it's probably your tulpa. They're most likely to grow more diverse as they grow, quote, "older".
