I only own the first one, but I want to get the others. I get way more out of the lore surrounding it because I'm a big creepypasta and horror fan.

I became a fan when the first game came out and own all 3. I'm a pretty big fan :D

(Although the fanbase can be a bit much at times >_> )

Favourite character is old/withered Bonnie

What do you MEAN you don't agree with me?

Do you know who you're dealing with!?

Like the game, not the fandom. They're weird as shit.

My younger sister is into the "fandom" and to say the least, it pisses me off a bit. Particularly this video series, full of pop songs that have nothing to do with anything, made for views. The fandom is a bunch of little kids who cling onto anything popular, and the "creativity" isn't creative anymore. Minecraft mods, LivingTombstone remixes, and lots of unfitting parodies. I don't approve in the slightest.

Now, excluding all of the fan-creations that shouldn't exist due to the nature of the games, sure. I like the series (not enough for a movie though what), the lore's interesting and it's always cool to see LivingTombstone make a remix or two. (They just got far, far out of hand) Jumpscare horror games aren't the most creative thing, but I still remember the original idea and how the internet received it - "It's like every child's nightmares brought to life" - and appreciate that. My favorite thing from any of the games, and the only thing I consider legitimately scary, is in FNAF1 when you check pirate's cove and foxy isn't there, check the camera below and have a heart attack as you see him running towards you. The entire game feels like it was leading up to that moment. The stress of management and imminent jumpscares are alright, but they're not what I consider "scary". The closest second would be the lore itself.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I'm still sort of surprised that I got into it the way I did, as well as dragging my best friend into it (I think she's more addicted than I am at this point XD). It's the first fandom I've joined in literally about fifteen years. I just don't do fandoms. I'm a hipster. I hate the hype, and the stuff you bring up, Reisen, is usually what makes me avoid fandoms. But I have to admit that some people's head canons of the characters amuse me to no end. That is when you dissociate them from the fact that they're the spirits of a bunch of children murdered and stuffed into animatronic suits.

I don't find the games particularly scary as much as they are unnerving. Multitasking with the lights, doors, cameras, etc. just becomes stressful. The characters themselves become nothing more than annoyances after a while. But I do admit that the idea of seeing Foxy sprinting down that hallway was just terrifying at first. I really love some of the artwork and music that has spawned from the series, and I've done quite a bit of artwork myself based on it.

I need to elaborate more on the fanbase now. What I normally see on Youtube are kids roleplaying as the animatronics or making references to FNAF/Scott on totally unrelated videos. It just gets really stale after a while. Not to mention all the fan games that Yamimash has played; I used to love the fella but I had to unsub after the tiny variety on his channel.

So

Games = Well done

(A good amount of the) Fanbase = A bit annoying

I can definitely respect that. Fans tend to take everything too far when given enough time and resources. That's why I usually stay under my rock and stick to liking the same things I've liked for years. But I have to admit it's nice to feel like I'm part of something. That's what I like about this forum. I feel like I'm part of a greater society as opposed to being on my own as I usually am.

I don't currently do anything with FNaF, but I did have a DeviantArt account a time ago where I posted FNaF art and submitted it to groups and got faves and comments and stuff. It felt good, but then I started to feel as though it was only because it was fan art, that if I tried doing anything original it would get zero attention. Hence why I'm not currently on DA. Most of what I create is completely original, and it's hard to find a place to share things like that.
