Ughhhh I totally understand the motivation thing. But really, great work. You're a phenomenal artist, and improving all the time.

It's been a while since I've had any sort of motivation to do art, but here we are again. I found the joys of bottled ink and maybe I'll keep using that on my tulpa doodles, maybe. Anyway we're still around, sort of, just less engaged with the forums and stuff.

For some reason, shirtless Desmond is the go-to subject when I can't decide what to draw when I want to draw something simple.

I always draw L on a grey background. Nevira is so easy to get right because she looks so much like Samara from Mass Effect, but the rest have no doppelgangers I could use for reference so art of them always ends up worse quality Big Grin

Here, have a video. The music is Sonata Arctica's song "Fullmoon" (sorry about the quality lol)

Still missing a new pen for my tablet. So now I have colored pencils. I haven't really done anything with them since elementary school, but it's kinda refreshing to play around with them for a change.

It's a bit annoying, not being able to edit stuff afterwards like I'm used to with digital art, but that's just something I have to deal with for now.

*The sound of four jaws dropping on the ground.*
Gorgeous work, then you had to go and pull a color penciled peice!
(I had to go any study all of them, this is an invaluable source of inspiration.) I know i need those line guides on the face (as can be seen in your earlier work) I always feel my work doesn't have everything in the right place. I just started doing it again after a probably 10 year break and i never drew faces before four weeks ago. It's very satisfying to get close. I guess it can take a lot of practice.

Thank you for sharing your work! They're all very beautiful.

Thanks Big Grin
I always start by drawing a circle and then a rough face shape on it with the guide lines and such and go from there, it's very useful for figuring out what goes where. I usually erase them, but on the more sketchy doodles I leave them in.
But yeah, practice makes perfect and all that Big Grin keep at it, you're doing good!

I can't believe I didn't look through this thread before, now that I've done so, you've just got a fangirl over your artwork. Like, why are your drawings so clean??? What kind of sorcery is this? It's so pleasant to look at! Oh, and your couple drawings are extremely cute you know? I love that you spend so much time drawing your tulpas, you've inspired me to draw them more often. Also, do you look up for references for those poses? because if not, holy shit that's impressive.
